Hey @TinselBee, @Rose68, @BettySwoll0cks

Here is the thread I promised us.

Somewhere for us to help eachother, pick one another up, cry, scream, laugh..

Some of us may be looking to try again, some may be putting things on hold. Whatever our plans, lets get through this together.

(I don't know whether conception was the right choice of topic, I can always have this moved to a more suitable topic if anyone would like me to)

I will look through our threads again and see if I can @mention anyone else who might like to join us

😂😂😂 I just spat out peppermint tea in the office reading that

ratherbeshowjumping · 04/01/2019 15:56

God I've never sexted anyone in my life before no wonder DH is having performance issues 😩 what do you even say? Terrified to search "how to sext my husband" on works wifi 😫🤣
I'm sat in the office genuinely opposite someone who looks like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers... not feeling particularly inspired 😂🙈

InDreamland · 04/01/2019 15:57

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Frazzlerock · 04/01/2019 15:57

Haha! 😂

@TwittleBee is it weird that I have noticed our charts are spookily similar? We even BD'd on the same days, as well as CM and OPK tests

I feel weird writing this 🤔

@ratherbeshowjumping tell him what you wanna do to him later. Don't just jump in with it though. Send him the odd friendly text, then tell him you're really horny... and build up to what you want to do. Then, when he walks in the door, be all sexy around him and super helpful with dinner and stuff. Give him the look too.

He'll either love it or think you've gone nuts, I don't know your DH though Grin

Frazzlerock · 04/01/2019 16:03

@twittle (btw, I mean just before and during ovulation, not the whole chart)

OP posts:
Rachyrach83 · 04/01/2019 16:11

I love sexting!!
I swear my DH thinks I'm actually sat at home on my day off playing with myself in lingerie when I'm actually watching say yes to the dress or out walking the dogs!! The result is the same tho.... I get what I want that night 😏😂

ratherbeshowjumping · 04/01/2019 16:54

@rachy that's hilarious I love say yes to the dress
@Frazzle good tips, thank you!
Right, I've sent the initial friendly text, asking if he wants to go in the hot tub tonight.....

Frazzlerock · 04/01/2019 16:56

Good luck @rather! Grin

‘....Naked 😉.....’

Frazzlerock · 04/01/2019 17:10

That's not a bad response! But I agree with Rachy for follow up message

OP posts:
Rose68 · 04/01/2019 17:29

I am laughing so much reading these messages 😂😂😂

edidxb · 04/01/2019 17:31

This is brilliant! I have also never "sexted" but now I am thinking that I am very boring! Good on you @ratherbe I do hope the outcome is successful.

TwittleBee · 04/01/2019 17:32

Oh sorry everyone to keep you in suspense! I'll be waiting till FMU to take the test. So don't want to waste one!

Frazzle bloody neck that is spooky! Maybe we have synched up? 😂 makes me think even more that I am only 5dpo though!

TWW is always full of trickster symptoms.

Rather haha brilliant! Good luck with it tonight! FX. Certainly send a follow up message

BettySwoll0cks · 04/01/2019 20:20

This is brilliant 😂 if I followed Frazzles advice I reckon my DH would call the community psychiatric team 😂

Rachyrach83 · 04/01/2019 20:34

@Frazzlerock it looks like you and I are the filthbags here 😂

BettySwoll0cks · 04/01/2019 20:44

@Rachyrach83 who do you go to directly to ask for tests, CD21 levels etc? Do you call your GP or are you under private care? I don't feel like I am really having a dialogue with any health provider about fertility stuff, currently 🤔

smerlin · 04/01/2019 20:52

Haha first day back at work so just catching up on the hilarity of the sexting!

I am on high fertility on CBFM (high oestrogen but no LH surge yet) but thought best leap on DH anyway. 2 mins after getting dressed, the Tesco delivery man turns up 20 minutes early

@TwittleBee have everything crossed for you- so hope we have our first pregnancy on the board! Am almost positive full mucus plug does not develop until end of 1st trimester (obv increasing until then)

ratherbeshowjumping · 04/01/2019 20:54

Just a quick update as DH has run upstairs...
He genuinely thought I was taking the piss 😫🙈 how mortifying, I definitely wasn't 😩😂 Frazzle & Rachy I need some more lessons please for next month... ffs 🤦🏽‍♀️

Frazzlerock · 04/01/2019 21:08

Looks like we are @Rachyrach83 😂

@betty I’ve probably made it sound easier than it normally would be... as a brief (not very brief!) precis - (as a pre warning.... I hate myself for how blasé I sound about getting pregnant so don’t judge me!!) I was under the GP as I’d been quite poorly with depression and severe anxiety and was medicated pre-falling pregnant. When I got my bfp, id been off the pill since our Wedding in April but my mental health deteriorated (just to my shit shit shit employer!) in July and I got my meds and we didnt DTD again until early September, and we just carried on as ‘normal’ (unprotected sex). When I got my Bfp in Oct I actually was in Sainsbury’s loos because I was standing waiting for my second prescription, my phone battery had died and so I was reading my meds info leaflet to pass the time... I got to the bit that said ‘not recommended in pregnancy’.... I had a sudden realisation that maybe my period was late!! I could only work it out by knowing I was on during my last nail appointment so a quick scramble in my bag for my diary and there is was.... I was 4-6 days late! Now I initially put it down to my periods being out due to stress, but there right by me was a £3.50 hpt... I thought, better rule this out then (genuinely thought it would be negative!) .... and lone behold there it was... a glaring blue cross!!! (First thing I did.... put the pate and wine back on the shelf from my basket!!! 😂😂 )
Hence why I know NOTHING really about my cycles pre pregnancy, I didn’t really know when my period was!!
anyway, I told the pharmacist, who called my gp and they took me straight off my medication... and I went to see her the next day... and pretty much from that point on have given me what I’ve asked for in terms of referrals and tests because a) they didnt really know what the affects of the meds would be and b) I was slightly crazy and Not medicated and it kept my anxiety levels down - obviously until it all started to go tits up at 7+5!
Anyway.... in answer to your question it’s my GP... and I’ve found it’s very much about asking and reasoning that it’s causing you greater stress not knowing and telling them you know about levels etc. If they kniw you want tests because you are educated in what the results mean I think you are more likely to get it because they know it’s easier to give you the test than not and you correctly interpret the results.
Phew!! Sorry bout that... didn’t mean it to be that long!!!

Kinsters · 05/01/2019 01:13

I occasionally sext. I always make it quite direct though. Men generally aren't subtle! Bending over naked always gets my DH going as well.

Ergh my chart. I feel like my body tried to ovulate on CD17 but didn't manage it. I wish I'd taken more temps earlier on cause it sort of looks like my temp has risen but only because it was abnormally low on CD16. If I compare to previous charts my temps are still in the solidly pre-o range.

Did you guys see this article about the role sperm plays in miscarriage? Quite interesting although it doesn't say what can be done to remedy dna damage in sperm.

TwittleBee · 05/01/2019 03:17

Kin that's what it looked like my body tried to do around that time too, wonder if it's where it tries to do the usual cycle but realises it's not ready?

Anyway.... BFuckingN... shouldn't be surprised. FF is glowing "told you so"

Guessing everything is just weird pre 1st AF stuff.

Kinsters · 05/01/2019 03:38

That sucks Twittle. Yeah, I think our cycles are understandably a bit out of whack. Hopefully they'll get back to normal in the next month or so.

You're up very early. Not able to sleep? I slept really badly last night even though our cats finally stopped miaowing outside the door (I think she missed us whilst we were away for Christmas!)
