Hey @TinselBee, @Rose68, @BettySwoll0cks

Here is the thread I promised us.

Somewhere for us to help eachother, pick one another up, cry, scream, laugh..

Some of us may be looking to try again, some may be putting things on hold. Whatever our plans, lets get through this together.

(I don't know whether conception was the right choice of topic, I can always have this moved to a more suitable topic if anyone would like me to)

I will look through our threads again and see if I can @mention anyone else who might like to join us

Dotted just means it's not confident it's predicted your ovulation correctly (often if you've got a positive opk or fertile CM after a temperature rise).

smerlin · 03/01/2019 08:11

Mine is High on CBFM as well Rachyrach- went straight onto High from 1st day of testing.

I haven't used the fertility monitor before but have used the CB OPKs that go into a little holder thing and they seemed to work- lots of High days but Peak came eventually.

I wouldn't necessarily expect cycle to be 'normal' length this time also.

I would like an Ava bracelet but £££!

Rose68 · 03/01/2019 08:40

@Frazzle I am also 3dpo, ov was NYE and I am also stressing about drinking. Although I’m not holding out much hope anyway.

I am really constipated, lovely!

Frazzlerock · 03/01/2019 09:02

Ooh @Rose68 that is exactly what I was thinking. If FF is right then I probably ovulated while I was necking vodka lime and sodas all sodding night!

Constipation is lovely isn't it. I suffer from it constantly, always have done. But it was rife when pregnant in all my pregnancies.

DP keeps giving me odd looks when I say that things taste really strong. Like the decaf coffee I had yesterday I mentioned that it was mega strong even though I hadn't changed it. And the carrot in our stir fry last night was really carroty and earthy tasting. I am not reading into that as it will be a complete coincidence and symptoms don't kick in for a few weeks anyway, but DP's face was interesting. He certainly looked suspicious Grin
I haven't yet told him I am finally past ovulation...

@smerlin I had a look at the Ava bracelet when I was researching Ovusense but the reviews weren't nearly as good. Are they similar prices?

@Rose I meant to say I am pleased us oldies can be DPO pals. How do we prevent the next couple of weeks being anxiety inducing Confused

ratherbeshowjumping · 03/01/2019 09:31

@Rose constipation was the first thing I experienced, along with the funny dreams... Grin

Your temp rise looks fab @Twittle - how are you feeling in yourself?

Glad you've ovuated @Frazzle - hope these 2weeks go as quickly as they can for you!

What a gorgeous pic @Betty Grin

Still a flashing smiley on my CB, EWCM this morning too so hopefully I can pounce on DH when he comes home later... fingers crossed!

smerlin · 03/01/2019 09:54

@Frazzlerock not sure on prices of Ovusense but Ava is about £200!!! Just preferred something less intrusive!

Frazzlerock · 03/01/2019 10:38

Yeah Ovu is pretty intrusive!

Finally!

My first symptom was diarrhoea! I had such awful stomach cramps I thought it must be my period coming early. I also had the strangely vivid dreams.

Rachyrach83 · 03/01/2019 10:57

I looked at both ovusense and Ava in last few weeks.

It's a difficult one for me as I had no trouble ttc last time (two months of unprotected untimed sex) but since my MMC I'm worrying about it and now it's been 1 cycle of no Ov and short cycle and now this one which seems odd I'm thinking it would be worth it??
Ordered better bbt last night in Celsius instead of F (last one was £3, this one £16 with good reviews) to try and track it a bit more accurately and with charts you guys can help with xx

Frazzlerock · 03/01/2019 10:57

Uugghh, I just rang the secretary of my consultant (who I hadn't heard of until I rang the ward I had my op on, yesterday!) They have no record of our baby's results coming back, yet they had someone else's results through this morning from 10th Dec! Our baby was sent off on 30th Nov Hmm At least that is when I had my op.

She also said the RMC appointment in Feb is the wrong clinic and she will need to refer me again!
She said she would ring me back

Yes @kinsters! Finally! Better get BDing as you could ov at any moment now Grin

@Rachy Depends how you feel about having to shove a rubber sperm up your fanjo every night. Actually, I have to say I use it as a bit of a plug sometimes. Once we've BD'd, I put it in to keep the boys in there over night.
I can't comment on Ava as never gave it a second look after reading reviews of Ovu

And oh my god I had mad dreams!! I thought it was my meds!! See this Facebook status from October 15th when I would have been around 10/11dpo and not a clue I was pregnant!! I thought it was my meds!! It's only you guys saying this that's made me realise!!!

Rose68 · 03/01/2019 11:02

@Frazzle I am also quite chuffed that we are dpo twins ☺️, we can compare notes ☺️.
I now have a massive spot as well as constipation. But it’s only all to do with increasing progesterone and no way anything else. When I got my bfp in October I had no constipation until after the bfp which I got on 10dpo. I should be getting pmt tomorrow probably 😩

@Twittlebee I can’t believe you are going to wait until Sunday! I am massively impressed with your amazing patience.

@Rather get in there girl!

TwittleBee · 03/01/2019 11:14

Finally Kin get DTD! Whoop

So so many FX for us all. Desperate for us all to make it into an antenatal thread together and for us all to have lil cute babies together. We all so deserve it, just know the world doesn't work like that

ratherbeshowjumping · 03/01/2019 11:16

@Rachyrach83 that made me laugh out loud 😂😂😂

InDreamland · 03/01/2019 11:27

Hi ladies.
Can I join please? Been lurking on this thread since i saw it opened. I usually post on the TTC after pregnancy loss thread.

It's so sad to see so many on here. Hoping for BFPs all around.

A little about me. TTC#1, was TTC for 5 years then finally got BFP in May last year but ended in mc at 12 weeks in mid July, due date is in 3 weeks time Sad Then got BFP again in November but mc'd 3 days later at 4+4. Due date was eerily on first anniversary of first mc.

Currently in TWW. I'm 11 or 12 dpo. Not sure exactly when AF is due now because of loss in November as AF started 31 days after bleeding first started for mc but cycle before was normally 27 or 28 days.

TwittleBee · 03/01/2019 11:32

Oh Dreamland I am so sorry that's happened to you, not fair to have been trying for so long too. You are of course welcome here. Xx

Rose68 · 03/01/2019 11:46

@Betty, what a lovely photo!

@Dreamland, welcome, I’m so sorry you are here, but you are very welcome (if that makes sense).

@Kinsters, yay for the BFN! You should ovulate soon now.

My constipation seems to have gone now 😩

edidxb · 03/01/2019 12:28

Hi all,
@InDreamland, you are very welcome here. It is a lovely group of lovely people.

@Betty - just to reiterate what others have said, what a lovely photo!

I feel a little disappointed if I am honest by our photos. I really really wanted a great photographer and we ended up going with a couple that promised so much but I didn't quite get the shots I was hoping for. Don't get me wrong, we have some lovely photos but it's just not quite what I wanted.

@Rose68 and @Frazzle I get constipation quite a bit of the time too. I hate it. And the two times I have been pregnant it has been 100% worse. Although that has also been due to the progesterone I took both times too. I had to resort to eating prunes each morning which I hate!

My first symptoms both times were incredibly sensitive nipples and breasts like nothing else I have experienced. And this time overwhelming tiredness even at 10DPO before I had tested.

@kinsters - finally! Fingers crossed you and your DH can get some rest soon!

I have had LOADS of ewcm today so ovulation must be coming soon. I am still not sleeping well even though jetlag should be well finished. I just keep waking up so many times through the night, really hot. Let's hope it's not the menopause. In fact that's not even worth thinking about. So I don't think my BBT is very accurate. I have been OPking it the last few days but only with the cheap strips I got last summer and they haven't shown a positive yet but hopefully in the next few days. Need to try and get on it tonight, if not tomorrow morning......

Urgggghhh, @Frazzlerock that's so annoying. I hope they can get back to you soon. I hate that kind of waiting.

@Rachyrach83 I think that if you feel pregnant reasonably quickly last time you will probably be OK this time too just with OPK especially if you have the CB monitor. I don't think you need anything else other than a good BBT in Celsius!!

smerlin · 03/01/2019 12:49

@Rachyrach83 it's so annoying not knowing how long it is going to take. TTC our 1st was ridiculously easy - 1st cycle, just DTD every 2-3 days throughout, threatened mc but managed to stick and get DD. This time took 8 months to end up in mc so I have decided to take it much more 'seriously' as thought it would be easy second time round too but sadly not. Also am 35 in a couple of weeks.

A good friend has been trying for years with no success at all, even with IVF. So it seems impossible to predict.

Kinsters · 03/01/2019 12:51

edidxb I've been very hot as well! I was so sweaty last night I had to get a towel and flip my pillow over 🤢

Frazzle that's just a double whammy of frustrations. Hopefully they can both be easily resolved.

InDreamland that sounds like a rubbish time you've been through. Hopefully things will get better soon.

Rachy that dream is so funny and definitely similar to the really vivid and insanely weird dreams I got. I wish I could remember them now!

InDreamland · 03/01/2019 12:54

Thank you @TwittleBee @Rose68 @edidxb

Hopefully we'll all concieve quickly.

InDreamland · 03/01/2019 12:58

Thanks @Kinsters.

Funny how you mention vivid dreams and night sweats. I had loads when pregnant with first.

Rachyrach83 · 03/01/2019 13:17

Hi dreamland
Sorry you're here but it's s great group!

I know that's what my DH says about ovusense etc and I've already got the clearblue monitor, it's just scared me how complicated it all is trying to have a baby! I was SO naive!!!!!
I'm 36 in April and am panicking it's all getting too late. I think I'll feel better when I see I'm Oing but until then I'm on edge.

@smerlin please keep me updated with your cbfm as it's good to see how it's working for others. X
