Hey @TinselBee, @Rose68, @BettySwoll0cks

Here is the thread I promised us.

Somewhere for us to help eachother, pick one another up, cry, scream, laugh..

Some of us may be looking to try again, some may be putting things on hold. Whatever our plans, lets get through this together.

(I don't know whether conception was the right choice of topic, I can always have this moved to a more suitable topic if anyone would like me to)

I will look through our threads again and see if I can @mention anyone else who might like to join us

Frazzlerock · 27/12/2018 09:02

Good morning all. I hope you have all been able to have a good Christmas so far. It's hard, right?
Thank you all for the congratulations Grin

I'm sorry for the radio silence the past few days. All been a bit of a whirl!
We've also got my future MIL (OMG, can't believe I can finally say that Grin) staying with us so it is hard to get time to sit and catch up properly

I've got my Brew and ready to see what you've all been up to.

@Rachyrach83 I read your link when you posted it and it is quite incredible if it is true! I have made a note of it in my RMC notes. Our consultant is gonna hate me I've so many questions and suggestions. And I've still got two months left to think of more..
How is DH's manflu? Wink More importantly, how are you feeling now after your down time the other day? I think we can all sympathise, I had planned to tell everyone at DP's birthday surprise on xmas eve and, instead, I was holding his 9 week old baby niece - the one who has my girl's name Sad I'm so pleased DH is finally able to understand what you're going through but annoyed that it took that huge bleed for him to realise!

@Rose68 That comment was really shit, I think you should ignore it or laugh it off, it is ridiculous unless this person has met every man in the universe. I know a lot of grown up mummies boys. In fact I thought this was more likely thank not. How are you feeling today?

@smerlin any sign of AF? I'm like you with the pink wiping...

@BettySwoll0cks how are you doing? Has bleeding slowed down any? I LOVE the Bob Marley link to the birds tattoo. My tattoo friend in Erith does have a bit of a waiting list, also there is Life Family Tattoo in Sevenoaks (my local town) which has a huge waiting list as they are so good. They did DP's and my morse code arrows on our arms (not that that was hard to do so that's not a very good example!)
Re cutting stuff out of diet, apart from xmas, I have cut down massively on gluten, dairy, sugar and caffeine as PCOS hates all those things. I got pregnant with Popsy doing this. It was miserable but my god was it worth it. I also don't drink much so alcohol is easy to avoid. I will get back on it after NY.

@Kinsters Glad to read you have a good doctor. Malaysia is so beautiful. I went to Borneo and KL and few years ago and was blown away. lol at the speculation about being pregnant, I guess the wine debunked that! But I felt so sad for you too, I wish you could have told them they were right and that you still are preg Sad

@TinselBee Glad to hear you got your +OPK! I hope you have been bonking like mad. FWIW you are not a bitter cow (and you know that!), you are experiencing things in a very natural manner. It is unfair and it does feel like a dagger to the heart when you're in these situations. Your chart is confusing. I've no idea I'm afraid Confused

@ratherbeshowjumping I'm the same as you, no idea whether I'm expecting Ov or AF. I'm a couple of days behind you at CD28 Confused Although, I've just caught up and see your AF is here now so maybe I won't be far behind you... And YES BFPs in new year from all of us. Preferably as close together as possible so non of us are left behind!

@edidxb lovely to have you back and I'm so pleased you had such a great time! You deserve it x

I'm not so bothered about my ovulation prediction disappearing now. I can see my temps are dropping slowly everyday and HPT is now negative. Hopefully ov can happen soon, though I've had very pale pink when wiping yesterday and again this morning (I notice a few of you have had this? ) so maybe I will go straight into AF Confused I guess time will tell.
I will keep doing OPKs until ov or AF just so I can see if there is any pattern for future cycles.

Are any of you tracking your cervix? I have been and there doesn't seem to be any pattern from one day to the next. Seems to be different everyday. I remember this fro tacking years ago when TTC DS2 o I'm not sure if I am just crap at understanding it or it really is all bollocks, or PCOS...

I'm still on cloud nine after the amazing proposal. I keep looking at the ring and I just love it so much. I keep forgetting we are engaged, then I will see a sparkle from my finger and go all warm and tingly again Grin I'd love to tell you all how he did it but it will be really long and this post is already beating my epic posts Grin

Maybe we should all share our proposal stories, I'd love to read them.

Hey @frazzle

Sounds like you are on cloud 9... that’s so lovely to hear!! My heart bursts for you!!
My DH proposed on a snowy dog walk in all that snow we had last December.i absolutely LOVE snow.. and I ADORE my dogs (4 yr old choc lab and a 14yr old rescue spaniel type) !!! He said he had planned to pop the question on Xmas Eve and has brought the ring.... but when he saw all the mega deep snow he new it had to be then! We were walking through the woods and he said ‘go up there with the dog and I’ll take your picture...’ so I trudged up the path and when I turned round he was on one knee in the snow!! 💕
We planned our wedding for August, but then moved it forward to April with mums diagnosis and it was fabulous! Had a afternoon tea theme at a Laura Ashley Hotel in Solihull and had gin cocktails in teacups instead of Buck’s Fizz etc! The DH’s young sons (4 and 8) were his best men and had matching suits and did a little speech! It was perfect!!
Enjoy planning yours @frazzle - biggest tip... do what YOU two want!! Ignore everyone else!! We wanted Gin and Cake... so that’s what we had!! People interfere but tell them to butt out!

I’m not sure if there’s some kind of rule against photos on here but I don’t care! This is me on 2/3 of the happiest days on my life!!

Beautiful pics Rachyrach!

Am getting slightly fed up with AF situation this week. Sorry TMI but keep having a fair amount of brown/pink/red discharge when I wipe but it is not actually turning into proper AF. Will be another month wasted next month if I can't work out when I ovulate.

V much doubt is implantation bleed as quite red but just wish would turn into a normal AF

Rachyrach83 · 27/12/2018 10:06

Firstly- sorry for the bold!! Not entirely sure what happened there! 😂😂

@smerlin mine is odd too.... 1 day normal, 1 day niagra falls, half a day normal..... nothing since yesterday lunchtime!! Is it possible it was so heavy on day 2 I’m done?? Does it work like that?? Hope yours sorts it’s self out soon x

Kinsters · 27/12/2018 10:23

TinselBee I think my "cold" might just be allergies. My parents house is absolutely ancient and practically made of dust.

I think it's hard to make an accurate judgement of your chart because of the open circles on CD18, 19, 20 and 21. Plus this time of year and what you've been through doesn't lead to restful sleep. Tbh I'd give it some time for your body to settle and just have regular sex to try and catch the egg (though appreciate this is easier said than done, especially if you've been trying for a while).

Frazzle I'd love to hear your engagement story! My DH proposed on a beach holiday on one of our favourite Malaysian islands last summer. He's very not romantic and doesn't usually surprise me so it was a lovely moment. I'm pleased you liked Malaysia! I agree that it's a beautiful country. Holding your niece must have been difficult. I'm not tracking my cervix or temp or anything really, just giving myself some time to get back to "normal" before starting again.

Betty I got pregnant quite easily so I'm going to keep doing what I was doing - no caffeine and taking folic acid and getting lots of sunlight for the vitamin d. I'm also going to try and add in some exercise.

Rachy those pictures are so lovely! I've been trying to find out more info about the drug that prevents miscarriage and can't see much except it possibly stops the uterus contracting?

edidxb I'm dreading the jetlag when we get back home. We arrive at 8am on new year's eve and have a party to go to that evening but I think we'll probably stay for dinner and then slip out early. Back to work on the 2nd Sad

Frazzlerock · 27/12/2018 11:30

@Rachyrach83 those photos! 💜

I will dig out some more of ours from the day so you don't feel alone on the face pics (I don't give a monkeys either)

Actually sod it! I will tell you all the story now.

(DS1 actually recorded the whole thing but I don't think you can upload videos on here)

Once we'd all finished opening presents, DP ran upstairs and cane down with something behind his back. He explained about us wanting to do a balloon release for our babies but we don't like the idea of it for eco reasons. So he created a balloon from scratch using all eco friendly materials (pic below) Everything about it was eco friendly. You should be able to see 3 little tags for each of our babies hanging inside from the top.

He said he had a place in mind to release it. It's a hill near us called Toys Hill which he said seemed perfect for the occasion given its name. (2nd highest point in Kent apparently)

So off we went. Reached the top with DP, his mum, and my two boys. DP has his Bluetooth speaker and took me over to release the balloon while the others hung back and watched.
He played Magnificent by Elbow which has a huge meaning for me with our babies and everything we've been through.
We let the balloon go while we hugged and cried. Then it got stuck in a tree (obviously 🙄) 😂

Then another song came on, Cat Power's version of Sea of Love. My absolute favourite song and one I'd said I wanted played at our wedding (I still didn't don't twig).
He looked at me and said he missed me so much when we were in hospital when I was wheeled away into theatre and he never misses anyone (true). He said he never wanted to miss me again, got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife and produced the ring!

I didn't know wether to laugh or cry so I laughed 😂 I obviously said yes too

Then he took me over to a tree nearby and he'd already carved our initials into it (pic I showed you before)

Then we went over to the others. DS2 was in tears because of the balloon release 😢 We were worried he was upset we were getting married but he said of course not (phew!)

Then DP pulled out some champagne and flutes from his bag and that was it! 😁

He'd put so much effort into the day, the ring is even 100% ethically sourced which he knows I'm a big fan of.

I think he's a keeper 😉

edidxb · 27/12/2018 12:39

Oh what lovely stories to read this afternoon @RachyRach83 and @Frazzlerock. I LOVE the photos too. I don't have any photos from the engagement but we went for a dog walk (similar) in Luxembourg where we were living at the time up in the vineyards and my DH proposed using a haribo ring! It was a lovely moment. We then went to Antwerp and chose the diamond and got the ring made. That was 7 years ago now.

@Tinselbee - I have no idea how I am functioning. For the last 4 nights in a row I have had just 3 hours sleep. I actually feel really unwell today and probably shouldn't have driven to work today as I am struggling to walk in a straight line.

I had gel nails done before going on holiday so I went after work today to get it scraped off (forgot it was 27th Dec and the mall was crazy busy but anyway) and then I got a normal manicure and pedicure done and I must have nodded forward/off about 10 ten times. I think the girl doing my feet was getting annoyed as she would make a mistake each time I lurched!

I took a pregnancy test today as I just decided I couldn't help it. I haven't taken one at all yet so had no idea how my HCG levels were. Plus of course there was a little part of me hoping that a positive test might mean a BFP. Well, I got my answer - BFN so I suppose that's good that I am all out of HCG and can move on. Still no idea if I have ovulated and I am a little bit like you all - expecting pink each time I wipe.

@smerlin I think it probably is your period. Everyone is so different though so it's hard to tell.

I am on CD22 today so still a while to go. 3 weeks tomorrow since the D&C. And my doctor and the internet all say 4-6 weeks for 1st period so I have a while yet...........

ratherbeshowjumping · 27/12/2018 15:35

Hi everyone just catching up...

@Frazzlerock & @Rachyrach83 what gorgeous stories! That's so, so romantic! Love that your dogs were involved too Rachy 😍 ours was the most unromantic proposal ever so I love hearing others. Both of your photos are stunning!!!

AF has finally stopped. I'm used to having really light AFs, literally 2 days, 3 if I'm unlucky(!) & this has been like a force from hell. I think it's got rid of all the gunk from the mc.

We've had a lovely few days - this morning DH & I rode the horses out together & we took the dogs to St Ives this afternoon. So nice to have a day not socialising, as awful as that sounds?

This Christmas really cemented how desperately badly I NEED a baby in our lives. My dh is the only one of his siblings not to have a little one, and it was really sad to watch him with his brothers & sisters yesterday.

I'm so excited to finally get a sticky bean in 2019... (I'm saying it like that as it IS going to happen!).

TinselBee · 27/12/2018 21:57

Oh oh oh love a proposal story! Enjoying reading these!

DH proposed to me Last NYD (my birthday) after a treasure hunt which ended in him baking me a cake (he never bakes, thats my passion) whilst I had a romantic bath (my favourite thing to do). When I got out the bath he bought over the cake, with sparkles and sparklers and popped the question whilst balancing the ring in one hand and the cake in the other, was a funny sight!

We ended up getting married in May with just our 2 best friends (who are also engaged to each other!) And our son. See pic! We did have a massive wedding planned but my family caused so much drama and stress we just done it our way and all under £500 too. PIL were actually thrilled we done it so cheap and our way too!

Thank you for taking a look at the chart and at least giving it a consider frazzle and kin ! I guess for now I'll keep DTD as much as I can. Although AF should be here either in a few days or 3 weeks if going by 4- 6 week rule, so either should have ovulated by now or be roughly ovulating now I guess?

Oh smerlin that does bloomin suck so much! Urgh! Hope AF sorts herself out asap!

edidxb same here with feeling rather far behind in it all, im only CD23. Bloomin hope you can play catch up with rest asap.

Ratherbe YES positive thinking. Here comes 2019! FX

Frazzlerock · 28/12/2018 08:04

Morning all,

Ahhh I love these stories Grin
@edidxb I love the Haribo ring, always said o DP that he needn't get me a ring immediately, that I'd be perfectly happy with a Haribo and then choose one together. I think finding the perfect stone together and having it made is a beautiful thing to do. DP knew I wanted a sapphire as it is Emily's birth stone so that helped him.

I'm glad to read AF has gone and, yes, there is nothing like spending time with other babies to make you ache with desperation is there. This year is our year!

@TinselBee, I love your dress. I am looking at one very similar. Very 50's style. Plus I love that you kept it small, we'd do it just the two of us if we didn't need two witnesses! But already all our friends and family are asking for a date and an invite Hmm. My mum asked if we'd chosen a date literally minutes after he proposed! No mum, it has just happened! I guess we should invite the parents really. My dad paid for my last wedding which was huge and must have cost a bomb. It was beautiful, but I've realised now that it was about the day and the guests rather than us. I feel like it wasn't really 'me'. This time I want it to reflect our personalities - we've actually already picked to venue we'd like. You guys look so happy and sweet together in your photo.
How is your chart this morning Tinsel?

@Kinsters Your proposal sounds idyllic

@smerlin FWIW I am getting the odd bit of pink when I wipe too for third day in a row. But only one wipe a day.

My temp has gone up for second day in a row so I'm wondering if ov is imminent... @smerlin maybe we are both experiencing ov bleeds? Is that a thing? ?

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 28/12/2018 08:06

I've entered the three days of pink wipes, but temp rising like pre ov rise 🤔

The July '19ers - knocked down, but never beaten
OP posts:
TinselBee · 28/12/2018 08:23

Frazzle all I can assume is that you're pregnancy hormones were keeping your temp up and maybe as soon as they dropped you potentially ovulated which kept them high? Is the pink wiping unusal for you?

Thank you! Dress was a total bargain at £40 including postage.

Love the sapphire and that is means the ring incorporates Emily's birth stone too.

I always wanted an emerald for my engagement ring but didn't tell DH that before he decided to get on one knee, but ah well

Temp at 36.5 again. I've been cheeky and entered tomorrow's temp at 36.5 as well to see if I had another day at 36.5 would mean I ovulated and it's only gone and suggested I'm now in TWW. Trying to not get hopes up.

I have come out in a horrid acne rash though... so that might be making my temps off. Really never seen anything like this on me before

The July '19ers - knocked down, but never beaten
Rachyrach83 · 28/12/2018 08:43

Morning!!
Loving these stories and pics!!
Love a bargain dress!!
Mine was 60% off as was used in a catwalk show at a wedding exhibition!!
Love the rings too.... I was shocked by mine that he picked! Boy did good! I adore it! Wedding ring has diamonds too. I joke my finger is worth more than my car! Ha ha!!!

Don't really understand temping at all and the more I do it the more it confuses me lol!!

AF seems to have completely stopped after 2 days!! I'm wondering if was so heavy on day 2 that passed all that needed to go?? Does it work like that??

Xxx

Kinsters · 28/12/2018 09:59

So nice seeing these pictures! Everyone looks so beautiful and happy. I've added one of my faves from our wedding day.

Tinsel I do the same with temps, adding in days in advance to see what I need to confirm ov or a triphasic pattern! Fingers crossed your temp stays up tomorrow.

Rachy I have no idea if it can all come out in one go but it makes sense there must be a finite amount of blood etc in there. I had an iud for years and no periods, I've not enjoyed having to think about them again!

I was going to restart temping today but I got quite drunk last night and drank lots of water during the night and as soon as I woke up. DH and I are having plenty of sex anyway as its the holidays so not too worried about timing plus its only 10 days since erpc so a few days at least till possible ovulation and that's assuming it's not delayed. Might pick up a pregnancy test later and see if it's gone negative yet. How long did it take for everyone to see a negative test?

Rose68 · 28/12/2018 10:02

Morning Ladies, I’m loving the photos! They are all gorgeous pics! I don’t think I am brave enough to post a photo of myself on here, although I did seriously consider it. It’s not that I don’t want you ladies to know who I am, it’s just it’s out there for the whole world.
My AF is also very short these days, probably 48 hours of reasonably heavy bleeding which then quickly tails off to very light brown bleeding.
I should be approaching ov too, I am using clear blue ov tests, although I haven’t used any since October. I have found my cm to be different recently around ov, it used to be very watery and would hang down on its own, esp after a bm (tmi?). I haven’t been getting that so much in the last few months... I’m wondering if all the supplements are affecting it?

Rachyrach83 · 28/12/2018 10:52

My negative test was day 18
On day 14 my hcg was 34

That was after erpc so hope that helps xx

edidxb · 28/12/2018 12:28

Hi all. I am pleased to announce that I slept for 11 hours last night and I am back in the land of the living today! I feel like such a different person, it's amazing. I went to bed at 8pm and woke u about7am.
@Kinsters and @Tinselbee I love your photos - thank you so much for sharing. I would love to share mine, but in my profession I would be worried that someone would find it/share it even though it is highly unlikely. Maybe tomorrow, I'll see!

I should have taken my temperature today as I had a proper nights sleep but forgot all about it as it was my morning to walk the dog and I was just so pleased to have slept! Maybe tomorrow. FF can't tell me if I have ovulated or not as I don't enter my temp. I do have lots of creamy CM still though so I must have as I usually have ewcm before ov. Although like @Rose68 it could have changed.

Also, some people say that some people don't actually ovulate to start with - you can just have a build up bleed. We'll see!

I have been WAY too tired to even think about DTD so that hasn't happened since Sat so almost a week so if I have ovulated this week or am about to, I will have missed that window.....

Kinsters · 28/12/2018 16:54

After saying I was going to forget about TTC until the new year I just went and spent £70 in boots on cb digitals and pre conception vitamins for me and DH (can't get them for a reasonable price where we live so wanted to stock up) . There's loads of 3 for 2 offers! Might go back for some frers later although my internet cheapies seem very sensitive.

Did one of the digitals and it shows 1-2 weeks pregnant so it seems like my HCG levels are coming down OK, possibly similar to yours Rachy.

Had a fair bit of bleeding after sex today. Not sure what to make of it tbh.

edidxb glad you got some sleep. It feels sooo nice to start getting over jet lag and back to your normal self. I hope there's no missed ovulation. I just want to get back to trying asap.

Rachyrach83 · 28/12/2018 17:09

FX @kinsters it's coming down
Did you see the post I put on about the hcg levels for each week from clearblue... it was a photo around a week ago.

Well, it seem I spoke too soon as after 2 days of absolutely nothing, not even blood on wiping... AF IS BACK!! wtf?!
And typically when I was wearing a nice pair of knickers! I hope it sorts it's self out for ovulation!!!

smerlin · 28/12/2018 17:50

That's really annoying rachyrach

During one TTC month this year, I had 2 full periods back to back with only one day off in the middle. Nightmare!

Kinsters · 29/12/2018 00:41

If this TTC and especially MC business has taught me anything its that bleeding can be so random! I've had to put a pad on today - CD12. Very unusual.

Yes I saw the levels Rachy, thanks. I think if I remember correctly for 1-2 weeks levels must be under 150 or something? That seems like an OK level for hopefully a week before ovulation. I think it would be too much to hope for my usual CD13 ovulation!

TinselBee · 29/12/2018 04:59

Rachy it could be retained product that was being kicked out first time maybe which might mean it wasn't even a proper period as such which is why you was confused about ovulation etc, your body might not have got a chance or might have literally just ovulated when it realised you still had stuff it needed to get out. So maybe this is then your proper period? Just thinking it does sound similar to how my body was when I had the infection, heavy period at start soaking through tampons and towels, a day or 2 break and then more bleeding. But MCing is so confusing!

Oh Kin that is a lovely photo! I saw my BFN around CD17 I think. I get my FRERs from boots as usually they have the packets of 3 for price of 2.

Rose I thought the same regarding photos but then I remembered if I write anything controversial I always change username anyway.

Oh yay edidxb and so glad you feel better for it too!

Chart attached! I know it says I've ovulated but I'm not feeling confident at all tbh. I know that CD18 and CD21 are open circles due to waking earlier than usual and CD 19 and 20 are open circles due to drinking though. So actually CD18 and CD21 should be higher than what they are and CD 19 and 20 should be lower due to the drinking. And today I've woken early too so should be higher. So I suppose when I consider that I do have more faith in the FF prediction but idk.

The July '19ers - knocked down, but never beaten
TinselBee · 29/12/2018 05:06

Yeah see, just changed my chart to reflect if I hadn't woken early and hadn't been drinking etc and looks more how it should BUT that temp rise is so small compared to how my temp rises used to be
