@FlapJackered that was like me 😂 mine did go to waste though, didn't tell DH and so never ended up having sex at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

@MrsR16 I'll be testing too on Xmas morning if AF doesn't show up, I think I'm due on then but can't remember exactly. I'm gonna buy beforehand just so I'm ready!! X

@DayDreamer1707 you’ve never tried a mince pie?!? why? They’re one of my favourite things about Christmas, especially marzipan topped ones!

My app has now estimated I'll have a 22 day cycle this month
I miss being on the pill, everything was much more simple (but obviously no use for TTC haha)

@cupcakesandglitter CD13 today, and Clue is predicting AF on the 28th.
My luteal phase is usually 10-11 days which correlates with the 28th, so I'm guessing the app is going by that, as my cycles are on average 29 days (again, according to the app).

@DayDreamer1707 - Go for it! They're a bit spicy and fruity, not at all what I thought they would be when I first dared try one (thought was actual beef mince used to be grossed out at people eating them with cream)

@DayDreamer1707 YES ENTIRELY POSSIBLE TO FALL OUT WITH YOUR OWN VAGINA. My vagina and I fall out monthly when it attacks me with cruel period pains!!
Defo do a FRER in the morning. Got everything crossed for you! Totally agree with @cupcakesandglitter we are defo due some BFP for Christmas!!

@stormtrooperjulian I've read you can have pains without O'ing so you could be right. When are you planning on testing?

@FlapJackered I hear ya sister. I was praying I O'd yday or over night cos I really didn't fancy DTD tonight again. I'm bloated and tired and cold. Don't feel like getting my freak on at all!! 😂😂 my temp rose this morning BUT I did wake up at 4am (cheers body) and was awake till gone 6 then slept till 7 so dunno if it went up due to funny sleep pattern. Really hope not. Gonna do another OPK in a moment when I can be bothered to move. Work has been too busy which is actually nice cos I've not had time to think about it. My only evening at home this week.

How many days DPO are you @starkid?

@MrsLBear - Think I ovulated Sunday or Monday so CD11-12, I got a positive Sunday morning anyway. Ah well, Christmas is chilled now with no pressure

I think for the first time ever I might have had ovulation pains last night... it was really low-key, but was just a brief cramp in my stomach at one point. Of course it could have been anything- The sort of thing I'd usually not notice! It's only because I know others get it that I thought it could have been that.

@starkid exactly, at least you can enjoy Christmas and not think oh we got to with DTD in some where. I know the tww is as mentally torturous but it's out of our hands now. I know what you mean. I didn't ever really feel them before and I really could feel something this month. Yday was actually quite bad and I had pain over night that woke me up but went. So I think I ovulated late last night or in the night.
When you planning on poas or do you wait for af to come/hopefully not come?

@KatBeCool I know what you mean! Trying so hard to be chilled but I am not sure not doing the opks is making me any more relaxed as I am still aware I could be ovulating any day now so still worried about Dtd! Are you feeling any more relaxed this month?

@DayDreamer1707 you have to try a mince pie!! I don't like raisins much so had been avoiding trying them but I actually love them despite not really liking raisins! Keeping everything crossed for you for tomorrow. At least you will know once and for all though!

@MrsLBear urgh yes totally, and now the dilemma, I'm pretty sure I will ovulate tomorrow- we Dtd yesterday but it was pants and pretty sure there wasn't much in the way of sperm to do it's magic. So do I put the pressure on to DH to Dtd in the morning (ahead of schedule) and risk it being equally pants and clinical or let him initiate tomorrow evening in our 'chilled out month' schedule of every other day but risk missing ov? 🤷🏼‍♀️
It's really frustrating when your sleep messes up temps around ovulation isn't it as you just don't know where you are! At least you have the opks for back up though.

@MrsLBear Need to pluck up the courage to do yet another test now and be prepared for more disappointment.

It's not like I can deprive my vagina of sex for a punishment because then I am losing out too....but we are definitely not a team right now ha. (sorry a little rude)🙊

@MrsLBear yes I will give one a try and pee on another bloody stick!! Was hoping the last test was going to give me a clear answer...feel like I'm clutching on to some form of hope. But I was fine when it first said negative because I thought I knew where I stood...how silly of me ha x

I rarely have mince pies. I'm boring and just like to microwave them and eat them on their own. I prefer the pastry to the inside!

@FlapJackered I'm sure you've done all you can if you O tomorrow as the sperm take up to 11 hours to get where they need to be anyway (so I've read) so DTD yday gives you a very good chance in my opinion. I'm very against DTD when you're not up for it and it being clinical as we had a total meltdown this month cos we did that and I defo won't be doing it again. Don't get me wrong I'm totally committed to TTC but not at the expense of my relationship as I don't think it's healthy. Having said that if you do then high five to you for being super on it. Also I've read tonnes where women fell by DTD every other day! When would your af be due if it came?

@DayDreamer1707 You HAVE to have a mince pie!! All butter ones are my fave, cold or 15 seconds in the microwave!! Beware it’s a slippery slope - you can never have just the one!!

Yes!!! @DayDreamer1707 I'm with @MrsLBear I like them on their own too 😂😂 a couple of years ago Asda did a cranberry and orange one and it was INSANE and then they just didn't bring them back 😭

You know who I’m getting really jealous of at the moment? Meghan Markle. Usually I can look at other pregnant people and be fine with it, I always think that for all I know it could have taken them months to get there and god only knows their story - but who gets married to a Prince in May and has a honeymoon baby right away, at 37?! At the risk of sounding like a spoilt child IT’S NOT FAIR!! What’s her secret!!?

I will do it New Year's Eve as will be 14dpo by then and AF overdue (& to double check whether I'm drinking or not!)

@MrsEG I second that, not even ashamed to admit it. So super jealous of her, and she falls pregnant just by clicking her bloody fingers - as if Prince Harry wasn't enough?!

@MrsEG she's got good luck in the baby making department true, but I don't fancy the situation with her dad. Lots of people have family drama, but at least it's not all over the news, with your family doing interviews for money.

@DayDreamer1707 mince pies are essential Christmas fodder, how have you avoided them for so long?

@cupcakesandglitter - Oh good point... I don't really drink over Christmas to be fair, so maybe just 1 if I fancy it but we don't really 'party' haha

@MrsEG oh totally with you there it's really NOT FAIR! Mind you if you have the money they do, no doubt that includes some seriously clever fertility people who make sure you're super duper ready (no waiting for 12 months for them, I doubt....).
