@Crossfitgirl thanks for your reply😊yes it's a hcg, it is odd isn't it. I seen it appear there and didn't move until 5 mins later when it disappeared never seen this happen before. No haven't done another one yet I'm tempted this morning😬😬xx

I’M FIGHTING THE URGE TO POAS!!!

After all my fine words about holding out! My cycles alternate between 26 and 31 days but the vast majority of times are an even 28, putting AF at December 5th. Because of my ovulation date and my LP being 16 days generally I predict AF will come on December 7th. Currently 11 DPO.

I know I should hold out but it’s SO HARD!!! I keep thinking about it and how I know nothing (Jon Snow) about fertility really so I should just go ahead and test because that’s the only way I’ll know and the chemist is only down the road and I’ll get Boots points on the tests and collecting Boots points are my favourite thing and then I’ll know whether I should have a drink tonight or not so in actual fact it would be IRRESPONSIBLE of me not to test so in fact I have NO CHOICE in the matter...

And to think yesterday I was so proud of acting like a sane person! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

@DuchessofPemberley go for it!! We all know we are poas addicts😂😂I caved in this morning and I think iv got a squinter hard to see in a pic though! I think I'm being very hopeful that I'm seeing things😔took so many pics of it😂😂xx

I also think I’m afraid to POAS because right now I have the hope of not knowing either way. The first BFN (because I like to use several a cycle 🙄) kind of takes that away.

My Clearblue Digital Monitor isn’t giving me the option to test yet. Maybe I should hold off until it gives me the option next week...? Maybe the fact it doesn’t let me test yet is a sign it’s too mother flipping early!

@DuchessofPemberley what tests do you use? I'm 8dpo and couldn't resist using a frer! You deffo stronger than what I am😂😂x

I use FRER usually, because my digital monitor is Clearblue so I like to use a different brand, though I use own brand tests when I start running out of money... conceiving the baby might be more expensive than having the baby.

My Clearblue Monitor won’t let me test until four days before my period, so I’m guessing it doesn’t think I’ll be getting my period on Wednesday or I’d be able to test today.

@DuchessofPemberley yeah it is expensive conceiving! The amount I've spent of tests🙈been trying for 18 months and had 2 cp's😔hoping this squinter isn't a trick and will get darker the next few days x

@GemmaJen that temp monitor sounds interesting, I assumed that temping just wasn’t an option for me as I’m such a restless sleeper so I might look into that! Glad your temp is still up 😊

@Bettythecat sorry about af arriving! What cycle are you on now? I keep wondering if there’s something wrong with me too, then I remind myself that it’s normal to take up to a year and it’s too early to panic! Doesn’t stop me thinking about ivf options for the future though, just in case.

Hi ladies, notbhad chance to catch up on the thread from last night and today yet. I hope everyone is having a lovely 1st December!!

I need advice though please. I’ve been using my OPKs this month and had my surge last Sunday and then I’ve been doing my OPKs to see the surge go down and track this month fully. As you can see in the picture today it’s gone really dark again, not quite positive but do you think I could be about to have another surge or last week it wasn’t a surge? I’m only on CD18?? Confused....xx

@stormtrooperjulian no I haven’t caved yet, although two FRER tests may have leaped into my basket when I wasn’t looking...

Possibly @DayDreamer1707 sometimes you can have another surge if you didn't actually ovulate the first time round... I'd maybe take this as ov? Xx

@stormtrooperjulian going into my 4th cycle now... I know it’s not long but as you girls know it’s such an emotional rollercoaster it feels like forever. I had a good old cry in the bath today- luckily my DH is basically the most supportive and amazing thing ever and was there trying to make me feel better. Decided we will get a fertility MOT test (sperm test etc) one January. Has anyone done one before?

After all my plans of taking the month off this month I also don’t really want to “waste” it so can see myself getting sucked into yet another month of misery (maybe a bit dramatic but you know what I mean!)

Lol @duchessofpemberley I start every TWW feeling calm and collected and I swear to god by the end of this one I was about to have a bloody nervous breakdown. Ended up going out from work manically looking for pg tests. Bought some then realised they weren’t the early testers and so went out on another mission to find more at lunch. Ended up with about 4 unboxed tests hidden in my coat pocket 😐

@stormtrooperjulian it makes me think of a stormtrooper and the famous five. 😂

So I have a bit of a dilemma - my hydrosalpinx could cause infertility and apparently some can even cause early miscarriage. From a bit of reading around, apparently because mine was structural rather than infective, it may be less concerning.

Now my surgery has been delayed.

I'm struggling with my options.

1. I could keep trying as I have one good tube (while knowing the bad tube could make it harder) - some women do get pregnant with a unilateral hydrosalpinx

1. I could hold off on TTC until after the operation

7dpo here. No notable symptoms other than sore boobs since ovulation. Distracting myself with festivities. Only another week to wait. Aghrrrrr.

@Bettythecat glad it’s not just me that does that! Sorry you’re having a tough time with it right now, it takes chunks out of you emotionally. It’s great that your dh is so supportive - that makes a massive difference.

@Validuser that’s a tough one. I think it depends on how you feel you’re coping at the moment and whether delaying would be harder than potentially keeping going with BFNs. How long is it delayed for? Do you have a new date?

@cupcakesandglitter that’s rubbish, was hoping it was something positive 😫. No idea what this will mean for my cycle now. Il test again in the morning x

@DuchessofPemberley I don't have a date yet! And it was meant to be next week.

I think I'll keep trying with the knowledge that it's unlikely.

The trouble is my left tube is likely to block again (this is actually why it's delayed - going to a surgeon who might be able to do something permanent about it).

So I'll keep trying with low pressure (and possibly of chemical pregnancy, which would be awful, but I feel like I need to keep trying).

AF has gone and now on day 8 of cycle 11. Trying to relax and enjoy this month, spent the afternoon baking and got the fizz in the fridge for a girls night at a friend's.🍾🍰

@ValidUser I think low pressure is good, everyone says to relax and hopefully you'll get your BFP soon xx

So my AF seems to have started again :( it's come back with full force on CD5 and with cramps so not in the best of moods today 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Validuser I think if you have a strong inclination to keep trying, which you seem to have, that’s the way to go. Hope you get seen by the surgeon soon.
