We’re almost at the limit on thread no.8 so I thought I’d start a new one before that one fills up

@GemmaJen - let's have a gander :)

GemmaJen · 09/12/2018 15:57

Well here goes, I won't be offended if you don't see anything. My DH was kinda enough to agree that there might be 'something' there. I'm happy to conclude ttc induced Insanity Xmas Hmm 10dpo test... Will test again 12dpo as there isn't a chance I will last longer than that.

@DayDreamer1707 - fx for a bfp, waiting till AF due, nerves of steel!

purplefig · 09/12/2018 16:09

@starkid ah yeah that's fair enough. Mine have been between 28 - 36 days, hoping I'm settling down towards a more typical 28 days. Was adding another week of waiting! Ooooo fourth cycle....bfp on the fourth of Jan?! 🤞🏼

@GemmaJen I feel like I might be able to see something super faint?

Bec18x · 09/12/2018 16:09

So according to my app based on my last 12 cycles I’m actually due af in 8 days so I could still be in this month Hmm and we timed bd right by the looks of things!

DayDreamer1707 · 09/12/2018 16:36

@GemmaJen I'm not sure when I'm actually due AF from my positive OPKs it would be tomorrow and from old cycles but after the MC I'm not getting my hopes up. I feel like I can see something but definitely test again and FX you will know for sure...how exciting x

purplefig · 09/12/2018 16:51

Hive mind help!! Just realised if sucusseful this cycle, due date will be 2 weeks after a huge family reunion about 6 hours from home (so not really advisable to travel). But already putting off trying the following month, as that due date would clash with a close family wedding. At some point do you just have to be like, fuck it?! I'm naturally quite a cautious type.

starkid · 09/12/2018 16:55

@GemmaJen - I don't see anything, so maybe try again in a couple of days? :)

@purplefig - I wouldn't put it off personally

MrsLBear · 09/12/2018 17:01

@purplefig I agree with @starkid. You'd be putting it off forever cos there's always something. Like they say, there's never a perfect time to have a baby!

DayDreamer1707 · 09/12/2018 17:17

@purplefig if I got pregnant this cycle I'd be a big fat Maid of honour and then the week after a huge bridesmaid but you can't put your life on hold for other people. You've got your own life and like @MrsLBear said you'd be doing it all the time xx

purplefig · 09/12/2018 17:38

@starkid, @MrsLBear and @DayDreamer1707 thanks guys. Sure you're right.

DuchessofPemberley · 09/12/2018 18:49

@GemmaJen I think I see a line, could be a shadow on the photo. Fingers crossed!

DuchessofPemberley · 09/12/2018 18:54

@Purplefig my two cents, for what it’s worth, is it’s not just skipping a month. There’s only a certain percentage chance every cycle, so if this is the month everything aligns, (you ovulate, it’s fertilised, no chromosomal abnormalities etc) then you don’t want to waste that chance.

This is the logic of someone who cries walking home from work the other day, so take it with an entire cellar of salt! 😂

MrsEG · 09/12/2018 19:03

Hi ladies! I’ve had a week or so offline recently. I’m so far behind so hope everone is doing well! I’ve read the last few pages at least :)

@GemmaJen I don’t see anything on that but at 10dpo you won’t anyway. I know it’s hard, but try and wait til your AF is due. As my DH says it’s just like pissing on a tenner otherwise! Even when I was pregnant, I had a BFN at 13dpo, only got BFP 15dpo. I’ll keep my FX for you!

And FX for lots more BFPs at Christmas and new year :)

I’m feeling much more positive at the moment. My baby will happen when it happens. I can’t keep getting so obsessed and emotional all the time, there’s no way it’s helping me at all. We’re still trying, but enjoying it too. Tying sex days in with nice dates and dinners, and a lot less of me texting WE HAVE TO HAVE SEX TONIGHT SO DONT WORK LATE OR ELSE. So far, so good!

purplefig · 09/12/2018 19:10

@DuchessofPemberley hmmm that's an interesting way of looking at it actually. I've cried three times this AF already if it's any consolation.

@MrsEG love the positivity! That's a great attitude to have. Glad it's working well so far.

Clau18 · 09/12/2018 19:41

Hi!
I'm new here, need a little advice...
We have been ttc for a few months, only on my second month tracking bbt, first month didn't really do it properly so this is my first one being able to track a trend. Since ovulation the temp has been up (36.8-36.7) today it went down to 36.6... and i still have 3 days to go to AF. The wait is horrible!

i think i had every simptom possible, i might be ccreating new ones lol my boobs are sore and fill fuller than normal since a week ago, i am really tired (maybe from obssesing till late hours reading articles about conception) and been feeling nausea, without being sick, just like queesy for over a week...

any advice? i'm finding it super difficult to wait to test :(

Xxx

MrsLBear · 09/12/2018 19:53

Hi @Clau18 👋🏼
It's so hard not to symptom spot especially as it can be so different for everyone. I was convinced I was getting my BFP last month as I had very sore boobs etc but it wasn't to be but then I've read that for some women that's a tell tale sign. Do you normally get them or any other pre-af symptoms? How many days post ovulation are you?

Clau18 · 09/12/2018 20:07

@MrsLBear well, great question! According to Ovia I’m 13 dpo and according to Fertility Friend 11dpo 🤷🏻‍♀️ Apparently my temp didn’t align with the peak ovulation test result

I have a 30 day cycle

Thank you so much for replying

I normally get sore boobs a couple of days before AF but not for so long and never this early, but again I could be more aware of things now I’m tracking 🙇🏻‍♀️

MrsLBear · 09/12/2018 20:30

@Clau18 well you could probably do a FRER? Not that I'm encouraging poas or anything! I personally find temping sooooo temperamental. Some days it's bang on and then out of no where it changes and I'm like huh 😫 also regarding your drop I've read loads where people get a drop in temp and still get their BFPs.
When I've read about sore boobs and successful pregnancy some ladies have said they get sensitive nipples too which I've never had with my sore boobs.
Do you have an idea when you will poas?
I do think once you start TTC you really learn a lot about your cycle and how your body works. There's so many things I knew before but didn't know why they happened or didn't even know really happened too. It's a mind field!

GemmaJen · 09/12/2018 20:32

@MrsEG thank you, my fingers are firmly crossed. Hopefully it won't cone to tenners worth, but I do agree - I'm trying to be patient but I'm not very good at it! Blush

KatBeCool · 09/12/2018 21:37

@starkid I used to do them 3x a day once I notice they're 50% dark with fmu. I've always caught my surge in the late afternoon or evening. And I start normally 5-6 days before I ovulate. Do you get other symptoms? Like ewcm?

@GemmaJen I still haven't tested. My boobs are quite sore. Normally they wouldn't be by now. My temps are still up. Are yours?

Horseychick · 09/12/2018 21:54

I'm new on here :waves:
As a start please can someone briefly talk me through the acronyms? Thank you!

starkid · 09/12/2018 22:25

@KatBeCool - I usually get ewcm or similar enough yes, but don't always catch a proper dark positive OPK before it goes back to nothing, so think I have a short surge... so once they come up with high fertility on the digital ones will do them late afternoon too, to be certain :) what a treat to get opk's that tell you what you need to know rather than the guesswork!

KatBeCool · 09/12/2018 23:16

@starkid that's why I've used a combination of both the Internet cheapies and CB. But I've learned the patterns enough now to part with CB as, I'm sure you know, they aren't cheap.

@Horseychick here you go, this should cover most of them.

MrsEG · 09/12/2018 23:24

@GemmaJen It’s very hard and I used to POAS literally every day the week my AF was due! Promised myself from now on I’m waiting. It plays with my emotions too much otherwise!! Good luck :)
