I now have loads of EWCM, way more than I had a few days ago when I thought I o’d. Usually it’s creamy (tmi!) after o until a day or two before af. Why is my body playing games with me? It’s so frustrating

Spotting has now gone completely, as have the cramps, so it’s a mystery!

@Daydreamer1707 (not sure how I “mention” someone properly...) - no other ovulation symptoms that I noticed, thought the fact it lasted over 3 days might mean that was out, and from CM I assumed had done so at the end of last week. Plus thought would be odd if I randomly stared to bleed at ovulation after we started TTC. But who knows?! Something unusual was happening!

Planning to put our tree up this weekend too, and a bit more Christmas shopping I think. Fairly quiet weekend before the next few manic weeks!

I’m also on Slimming World. Been doing it in quite a relaxed fashion as I’ve not got too much to lose, but have been a bit too relaxed the last few weeks so need to try and eat better this weekend too! Must. Not. Buy. More. Mince. Pies.

@Scotslass55 yes you did it right 😊. I just wondered if it could of been possible ovulation bleeding if it wasn't a lot. I've learnt that once you start TTC you find out that you know nothing about your own body...brilliant!! Welcome to the fun world of the unknown. As long as you do things in moderation I'm sure you'll be ok.

It's Christmas so I'm eating a cheese and meat platter tonight...naughty but got to be done x

The Christmas markets are beautiful, got a full day here tomorrow, already sampled currywurst, lebkuchen and of course, hot cocoa. Done lots of walking to cancel our some of the calories and looking forward to a busy day tomorrow. Still finding myself thinking about the hpt I packed in the suitcase, I hope I can hold out till Sunday, fx!

@stormtrooperjulian I had the same last month with my CM. I had more a few days after than when I was supposed to O. I just thought it was my body playing tricks with me. I also think sometimes I think my body must work like clock work but it's doesn't and so many other factors can affect things. Yay! 🤪🤣

@GemmaJen stay strong, don't test early! I'm definitely waiting at least until Tuesday. Those samples sound lovely! Christmas markets are amazing.

I have a question which, I'm sorry will be TMI. Me and my OH DTD last night, not trying to get pregnant at that point because I was on CD24 and we we just fancied getting a bit naughty 🙊. Well after I went to the loo and wiped and there was a little bit of pinkness mixed in with the other stuff (sorry I know ewww) do you think it was just because of the sex or could I be about to have AF....there's nothing there now x

@MrsLBear yeah I felt a little bit like that about leaving all the stuff behind at home for our honeymoon and I was hoping that being more relaxed without them would be helpful but there was no honeymoon baby so it can't have been that helpful😔. Wow hope you have an amazing time there! I bet it will be scorching! Whereabouts are you going? My cycle can vary due to PCOS but since January, 4 out of 9 cycles have had a LP of 12 days. It is all so confusing! But it gets easier once you get used to it! And yes! The 16th is our "second daterversary"! According to the apps I'm due on the 17th but according to LP I'm due on 15th. Just wondering when I can test now LOL... I'm only 4DPO but I have quite a few One Step IC to use before breaking out the FRER!

@DayDreamer1707 how many dpo are you? Could it be implantation bleeding? Maybe a nice relaxing morning in bed will see off the woman flu!

@MrsAW2018 probably the earliest you could see a result would be 9dpo I would have though? So probably wait another few days.

My body has been weird this cycle so I have no idea how many dpo I am. Putting up the tree today though! DH put up fairy lights around the house while I was at work yesterday to surprise me when I got home last night.

@stormtrooperjulian I am currently 12dpo I think. If my cycle are like my old ones before my MC I could be due AF on Monday. I wouldn't want to get my hopes up that it's IB I think my body is still getting into the swing of things. Currently making something to eat and a cuppa and back to bed for me x

@DayDreamer1707 technically, it can be anything - AF, ovulation, implantation, or sex. But considering that it happened immediately after sex, I'd say it's most likely that, especially since it's pink.

I'm losing it. How do you keep yourselves from being too hopeful during the TWW? This cycle I'm having quite a number of new symptoms and I don't know how to tell myself to calm down. My temps shot back up today after the huge dip yesterday, my boobs now hurt all over instead of just the sides, the heartburn the other day. I had some cramping for hours yesterday that I've never felt before, it's not AF, as that, if it ever even happens, happens only during AF and not before, and it's dull and wide. This was sharp and isolated to a small area. There was a weird bit of cm yesterday (sorry, tmi), like a yellowish glob of stretchy ewcm, it happened only once, and the rest of the time it's creamy. I am not sharing most of it with DH as I don't want to get his hopes up either. He's already asking when AF is due, I pretended I wasn't sure as my last couple cycles varied a bit. Impatience is kicking in!

Probably not even possible with my tubes, but I feel like I see the faintest line ever

@ValidUser fingers crossed for you! I can't see anything but I'm famously terrible at line spotting + have a raging cold so my vision is suboptimal anyway!

Day 3, cycle 4. Weirdest period, barely any cramps! Ordered more OPKs and trying preseed for the first time. Got really down earlier and worried about infertility. But just reassured myself first 2 cycles we missed ovulation (doh) so last month was first real shot. Still, spoke to DH about plans if we couldn't have kids and it was surprisingly comforting. We laughed lots, which was nice. Feeling down in the dumps though, really assumed I'd be pregnant by Christmas. And now very much won't be + I have a gross stinking cold.

@KatBeCool I don't think it will be implantation bleeding, that would be getting my hopes up. Last time I got pregnant I had this and 6 days after AF was due I got my BFP but that's just wishful thinking for it to happen again and so soon. Just have to remind myself our bodies like to play tricks on us!! Sounds like you could be in for some good news, how many dpo are you? My OH the same, it's nice I think that they show interest ☺️

Hey everyone hope you're all good. Well I have to say found OPKs confusing as the Glow app showed a positive when it scanned one but to me looked no where near positive. Wasn't positive on days apps said I should be ovulating so maybe I missed it?! Oh well it's only the first time trying!

@Purplefig I am so with you. I wanted to be pregnant for Christmas, which didn’t seem like to big an ask given we started in August. Plus I have a horrendous cold and work deadlines abound.

Trying to stay positive for the next cycle, but in the midst of crippling period pain it’s extra hard.

@DuchessofPemberley same! We started in August and I was going to sign up for blood donation but next one was Dec and I remember thinking 'oh better not, I'll deffo be pregnant by then'. Ahhh sweet naivety! Also with you on the deadlines and stinking cold. Blerghhhh. Hope we both feel better soon.

How've the last few months been for you? It took me a while to get to grips with it all, hence I think I last month was the first actual real shot we had. Wish I'd come off of BC earlier to let my body get back to normal. Hopefully settling into normal cycles now. It's been: 34 days, 36 days and now 28 days! Anyway, fingers crossed for a new year bfp instead!

@DayDreamer1707 I'm 9dpo today. So it's tense. I'm not going to poas, I'm not!

It’s been really hard. We’ve been under a lot of stress this year ( suicide in the family earlier this year, hope that doesn’t upset anyone) and the stress affected everything including AF. My cycles only really sorted themselves out during the summer.

I expected to be more laid back, but I think because we waited so long to start I feel like I’ve been waiting for a baby for longer than we’ve been trying.

Christmas is going to be tough and I was hoping to have something new and exciting to focus on for 2019, but so far no dice. I’m hoping maybe the universe mistook my pregnant by Christmas for old Christmas Day on January 6th! Next AF is January 3rd so we shall see!

I didn’t realise how low the chance is per cycle. I kind of wish I’d started sooner.

You never know though, this could be our month!

@DuchessofPemberley so sorry to hear that. I've had a few family deaths and I've been surprised at how much I've wanted to have a baby in response. I suppose that's quite natural in a strange way. Like you I wish we'd started earlier too, especially with opks. I'm tempted to say the first few months we're just tracking period, as we never actually did it on the right day, so 0% chance until last month!
