@GemmaJen I know the feeling, 6 DPO also. And I have no idea how long my next cycle will be as the last three have been 24, 28, 26, all with different LP. I blame the thyroid medicine but at least I can see it's working. This cycle is the most normal I've had since May, proper AF (not very light like before), lots of ewcm, temps are more steady, and also higher after ovulation than before. So another 8 days is very much a possibility for me.

A couple of weeks ago DH said he had a dream that I got heartburn and when he asked about it, I said it was a "special pregnancy heartburn". I never get heartburn, and I got heartburn yesterday, from a food that I've eaten many times before with no issues. So there's that.

@DayDreamer1707 Bahaha so laidback I don't even need to spell correctly. Ooooo that is interesting. 91+% chance it would show positive is positive. Gahhh. Will see how I feel as weekend approaches and keep you all posted.

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing today?

I thought I ovulated on Monday (CD13 - my usual ovulation day), had what felt like ovulation pains then. But today (on what I thought was 2DPO) I’m having what feels like ovulation pains again. It’s confusing me. Anyone have any idea what may be going on?

@ValidUser @MrsR16 we just did! If I am ovulating today i thought the sooner we do it the better the chances of catching the egg. So now I’m lying down letting things ‘swim’ 😂😂 while DH cooks dinner

Thanks ladies, just got back from my scan... the nurse said that everything looks good, and that It doesn't look like PCOS. Said there's a little bit of cysts but all looks good. I asked her about irregular periods etc but she said it's probably something else but she doesn't know what..... absolutely fantastic. Now to just wait for my doctors to contact me and palm it off as nothing.

@cupcakesandglitter good it's not PCOS but annoying you're none the wiser. Gahhhh not sure - wanted to avoid dealing with a bfn this cycle, but the curiosity is mounting 😬

Serious question: am I missing something or does DPO matter far more than "test day of missed period". Because the latter varies so much?? Is it just general advice because people don't track ovulation? SO AS YOU CAN SEE MY LAIDBACK APPROACH IS GOING EXCELLENTLY 💁🏼

@purplefig I'm thinking of testing Friday as would be 13dpo (well, post positive OPK), we can be testing buddies

@starkid ooo how exciting! I'm same as you, don't temp so going off of positive opk. I'm veering wildly between Friday and next Thursday and everything in between. What a ride this TTC stuff is!

@purplefig I agree with cupcakes - 12dpo would be long enough for me to wait to POAS!

Clue told me I was due on yesterday (cd26), however my cycles have varied between 26-33 days... It's that fact alone which made me not run and poas first thing this morning!

(I'm secretly freaking out inside that I could be pregnant, but trying to act all chill about it because I pretty much have no symptoms pointing towards being pregnant rather than just due on!)

@purplefig I think you’re right that the dpo matters more than the af due date when it comes to testing

@starkid your luteal phase length shouldn’t change I don’t think, just the day of ovulation within your cycle. How many dpo are you?

@starkid same!! Trying not to get my hopes up but currently failing. Plus consistently sore boobs + suspected IB is pushing me over the edge!! Friday it is.

@stormtrooperjulian - Just had a quick look and am actually 12 days post positive ovulation test, and my last 2 luteal phases were 11 days long (again, post positive ovulation test).

However, probably jinxed it posting all that just now (suspicious much), as just went to the loo and low and behold, I wiped and there was a teeny bit of blood not looking good now

@stormtrooperjulian I love your positivity! We’ll see how things go. It currently looks like AF won’t arrive tonight which means Clearblue will be our, leaving me and FF to fight it out over top prize.

@cupcakesandglitter great news that it’s not PCOS, fingers crossed you get a definitive answer soon.

@MrsAW2018 I wasn't planning on doing ICs too but I decided that from tomorrow I will do both cos I have them both and have loaaaads of ICs. So gonna do clear blue with FMU and ICs in the afternoon.

Yeah it is hard if you don't get up the same time. I find that the weekends it all goes out the window following a few wines! 🤣 I have to say my temping has been shit in terms of trying to decipher it I'm hoping this month is clearer.
