Hopefully it will be negative for you by then🤞

Nope, I have no idea 🤨 I think she might have thought I was younger than I am as she was saying I was young and probably hadn't had an invite for a smear yet (I'm 29!), so maybe she was thinking there was no rush? I think we'll start trying after my next period as long as everything has settled down.

Beaglemum93 · 29/11/2018 16:27

@Dimblebimble I really hope so, fingers crossed your body will go back to normal again soon. It seems cruel that miscarriages drag on for so long, it's painful enough without it!

Babycakes1989 · 29/11/2018 16:38

Bad mood day. Friend found out she’s having a boy, everyone cooing over her. I like her & im happy for her but I feel sad as feels like they don’t understand what it’s like to lose a baby. It’s all done in front of me. I think people think after a couple months your ‘ok’ or ‘over it’. The pain is so raw & comes in waves. I’m not a jealous bitter person at all, I feel terrible as so many friends have announced lately & it’s affected me & I didn’t want it to but I can’t help it 😪 all I keep thinking about is, it’s nearly Christmas & I was so excited to be waddling around with a big old baby bump buying cute baby outfits prior to he/she’s arrival in February. Except I’m here waddling in self pity with a glass of wine in the bath, but because I can’t stop eating because I’m sad & just want some good news for once 💕 don’t feel like you have to give me sympathy I know you all feel the same. It helps me just blurting it out like this. Hope everyone’s had a good day xxxx

hayleyfx · 29/11/2018 16:46

@Babycakes1989 it’s so tough, I’m sorry 😔 I’ve been in a similar situation since losing my son, I fell pregnant at exactly the same time as my DP’s cousin. Every time I see her bump I have to go to the bathroom and cry for a bit. Even now. Her gender reveal was especially hard, as she’s having a boy too. I just felt like - well why was my boy not given the chance of life? What about him? Why us? & it’s a horrible feeling. Makes me feel guilty for feeling that way but it’s 100% natural, we’re allowed to feel this way. So just want to say I totally understand, it’s just a rubbish situation to be in and I hope you’re feeling better soon xx

Beaglemum93 · 29/11/2018 16:52

@Babycakes1989 sorry you're feeling so down today, pregnancy announcements are so difficult :( It's perfectly understandable to feel like this towards them given what we've been through. I know there's nothing anyone can say to make you feel any better but you're not alone and you can rant to us anytime you need!

Babycakes1989 · 29/11/2018 16:53

Thank you so much Hayleyfx😘 your comment means a lot. It’s such a gut wrenching awful feeling. I can’t express how comforting and overwhelming I find it talking to you incredible strong women who have been through the same heartache as me. Xxx

Babycakes1989 · 29/11/2018 16:54

Thank you so much beaglemum93 also 😘 having you ladies is such a big comfort xxx

Eantonette · 29/11/2018 17:18

Hi guys,

I hope you don’t mind me joining! I am 24 and had MMC with pg number 1 at 11 weeks, baby only measured 9. I had a d&c on 24th October. Tested tissue from d&c came back normal and all bloods are to apart from a high platelet count. Has anyone else had this come up in a blood test or know much about it? Wanting to TTC asap.

Wishing everyone plenty of luck 🌈💕

applesin · 29/11/2018 17:34

Hey everyone
Age: 27
TTC #2, DS is 29 months
MC x 2 on April (Blighted ovum) and October (missed miscarriage) this year.
Just had my first period since the latest miscarriage a few weeks ago, I've been spotting every day since then. Hardly anything, but can definitely smell the copper tang if that makes sense.
CD 13
I'm expecting ovulation probably between CD 17 and 20 but since it's my first cycle since MC who knows.
The sporting every day has been freaking me out, along with the intermittent nausea and back ache... Have done two tests since my period cos of that, both negative - I have experienced HG in all my pregnancies so early nausea is usual for me.
Seriously struggling with my anxiety at the moment, it's so hard.

Dramaqueen14 · 29/11/2018 18:40

I’m sorry to hear so many of us are struggling. I honestly don’t think people understand unless they have been through it. Some of my friends and in laws expect me to be over it, it’s only 2 and a half months. Got so upset on Sunday. Spent the weekend with my in laws and my SIL (she’s young, only just 20) sat there and showed me videos of her cuddling her friends newborn. I’m like do I really need to see this. DH saw how upset and uncomfortable I was getting so changed the subject.

Argh, anyway that was a pointless rant. Sometimes I feel this is the only place I can go to speak to other ladies who actually get what I’m saying!

I hope everyone gets their BFP soon. I’m in my TWW and just want to test. I know it’s not happened this month as DH had the flu so we missed a couple of days so I already know I’m out this month x

Justincase87 · 29/11/2018 19:30

Please could I have a handhold? I'm stuck at work until 9.30pm and I have just started bleeding (I had some spotting last week and now it's started again) trying not to cry but I'm here with another member of staff who doesn't know I'm pregnant again - so sad, don't think I can cope going through this again

Beaglemum93 · 29/11/2018 19:34

@Justincase87 is there much bleeding or is it more spotting? How far along are you? Bleeding in early pregnancy is pretty common and isn't always a bad thing. Fingers crossed everything is ok.

Justincase87 · 29/11/2018 19:40

It's pink and just there when I wipe - but this happened in my last pregnancy - I had spotting, baby measured two weeks behind then died at 8+4, I'm 6 or 7 weeks but a scan last week showed a sac and yolk but no baby yet X

Beaglemum93 · 29/11/2018 19:44

Have you got a number for the epu? You could give them a ring and see if they can give you any advice or book you in for a scan?

Lilimum5 · 29/11/2018 19:48

@Justincase87 how much bleeding hun and is there anyway you can get away from work at all.

Lilimum5 · 29/11/2018 20:00

@Justincase87 I'm up to date thread updated. I hope your OK hun. As beaglemum said don't panic all could be OK. But do ring epu and get an appointment even if it's just for reassurance. Let us know how you get on xx

Lilimum5 · 29/11/2018 20:06

My clearblue advanced fertility monitor and tests have arrived. So when I finally get a bfn and first af I can start tracking again.
I still feel like I had my heart ripped out but I feel having a goal is really helpful.
Still getting a positive at the moment but I have to remember that I only had the third round of management on Monday but I'm so impatient. I'm a control freak and I'm struggling as I can't control any of this.

hayleyfx · 29/11/2018 20:09

@Justincase87 as other ladies have said, everything could be totally fine. Definitely contact EPU and request to be seen, hopefully a scan. Going to be keeping everything crossed for you xx

@Babycakes1989 it really is such a great help to have people who understand and such supportive people too. So much love on this thread, I’m glad I found it when I did! X

Okay I’ve got a scan tomorrow. Should be 6+1. Unbelievably scared for it. Earliest I’ve had a scan before is 7 weeks so not sure what to expect.
What should you see at 6 weeks? Probably a heartbeat, right? I’m terrified.

Justincase87 · 29/11/2018 20:15

@hayleyfx in my last pregnancy I saw a heartbeat at 6+3, and at 5+4, but I think that at 6 weeks it's 50/50 if you'll see a heartbeat, there should be a sac and a yolk though, good luck!

I've just blurted out what's going on to the poor guy I work with, and another member of staff is coming in now, feel ridiculous for getting in such a state and will regret telling him but I just want to go home

DayDreamer1707 · 29/11/2018 20:18

@dramaqueen14 I’m in my first TWW. I’d just rather know if it’s going to be a positive or negative and then I can move on. Not going to get my hopes up this month though as it’s my first cycle since my MMC, classing this as practice month!! People sometimes don’t think about what they are doing, they don’t realise that sometimes your smiles is just to hide the pain x

@justincase87 call the EPU and go for an early scan, could be just bleeding because it’s still an early pregnancy like the other ladies have said.

I cannot wait to see some BFP from your lovely lot 💕💕💕💕

Lilimum5 · 29/11/2018 20:20

@Justincase87 you are not rediculous hun, your scared and its natural. Go put your feet up and try to relax (I know that's so hard to do)
I've got my fingers crossed 🤞 that everything is fine.

ratherbeshowjumping · 29/11/2018 20:41

@Babycakes1989 thinking of you 😘 one of my best friends is a month ahead of me. We were planning mat leave together. Today she found out she's having another boy. I'm thrilled for her but can't help but feel so envious too. I get exactly what you mean.

@Justincase87 sending love, no advice to add but call the EPU. Keeping everything crossed, you'll be ok x

rdm10 · 30/11/2018 07:55

Hello ladies,
I’ve not posted for a long time but still check in to see how everyone’s doing.
Roll call-
Ttc #2
Mc @ 10 weeks in feb (bean measured 6+4)
Mmc @ 11 weeks in aug (measured 9+6)

Got bpf last weekend but not feeling at all positive.
@hayleyfx I’m tha same, I have absolutely no symptoms, I did have slightly sore boobs at the start of the week but even that’s gone now. Keep expecting to be bleeding every time I go to the toilet. Just did another cb digital and got a 3+ so I’ll just wait and see. Our epau doesn’t scan until 7 weeks so I’ll just have to keep my fingers crossed till then.
Good luck at your scan today.

Sorry to see so many newbies and sorry to see some oldies are still here x

SerenaOverjoyed · 30/11/2018 08:19

Good luck for today @hayleyfx - I hope you get to see a lovely strong heartbeat. As an aside, I think we were on the same antenatal club thread before, due in Feb?

How are things this morning @Justincase87? I’ve had spotting and bleeding in both of my successful pregnancies, fingers crossed it’s nothing.
