@Lilimum5 hmmm...its so confusing! So I'm not sure. I know after I lost bow I was getting positive ov tests (and very faint positives on preg tests) for several days. I gave up testing for ov until after I was deffo negative...apparently the hcg can mess with the hpt as lh is a similar hormone.

If it is ov perhaps it's your body resetting itself after the Mc taking so long? Sorry not to be more help x

MeghanV07 · 01/12/2018 19:38

@Lilimum5 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure when you're bleeding, you can have a LH surge which can give a positive ovulation test. I can't remember where I read that but I'm sure I have. Maybe test each day at the same time if you can, as different times of the day can give different results. Sending you love x

It's just bitter sweet isn't it @Justincase87, glad you can eat but it's a horrible reason why. I would be around 8 weeks on Christmas Day and if this pregnancy is okay, my sickness will be horrendous so I'm dreading Christmas Day, but will be welcoming the sickness with open arms if it means I have a healthy baby.

I've just been to the loo again and had more cm mixed with brown blood this time, but it was a pale brown. Hoping it's just old blood from the bleed tomorrow. Will try and test again in a couple of days if the bleeding continues.

@TwittleBee I'm hoping it's implantation or my cervix is just being a nuisance! I just don't think I can go through it all again!

Xx

@MeghanV07 that's a good point I'm going to go Google that. Thanks x

Lilimum5 · 01/12/2018 19:52

OK I googled and found this

Does having an LH surge mean that I will definitely ovulate that month?
Not necessarily. In a normal cycle, ovulation usually follows the LH surge. But sometimes you can have an LH surge early in your cycle, before the follicle is ready. If this happens, you’ll have another LH surge later on in your cycle, and ovulate after that one.

Another reason why ovulation may not follow the LH surge are certain conditions that cause elevated LH levels such as PCOS.

And finally, a third reason why the LH surge doesn’t always lead to ovulation is a phenomenon known as luteinized unruptured follicle (LUF). Between 6 – 25 percent of women with infertility have LUF[2.Qublan et al. 2006], and it’s one possible cause of unexplained infertility. It can also occasionally happen to women with otherwise normal cycles[3.Killick et al. 1987].

In LUF, even though hormone levels leading up to ovulation are normal, the follicle doesn’t rupture, so the egg is never released. In normal menstrual cycles, the ruptured follicle becomes a corpus luteum, which releases progesterone and stimulates the lining of the uterus to build up. But with LUF, even though the follicle never ruptures, it still releases progesterone. From the outside, your cycle will look completely normal: you’ll still get a regular period each month, and you’ll still get positive results with the temperature method or ovulation sticks. In fact, the only way to detect LUF is via ultrasound.

Well that would explain my random positive opk so early.

Thank you both for getting back to me Lilimum5 and Dimblebimble . I am so worried I'm going to start bleeding naturally before as symptoms are starting to fade now.

How long has it taken you ladies to find youre able to TTC again? My MIL is telling me I should wait at least half a year and drink lots of milk as I need to make my body healthy as that's most likely why I miscarried? (Fyi, I do have a few health issues e.g. cusp of underweight due to bowel issues).

This is confusing Lilimum5 for you! Hopefully next cycle it be a bit more usual with the LH surges.

MeghanV07 · 02/12/2018 07:04

Thinking of you @TwittleBee ❤️. We started TTC straight away but I didn't ovulate till my 3rd cycle.

@lilimum5 @MeganV07 this looks like what is happening to me 😫

TinselBee · 02/12/2018 07:58

Blimey, it's cruel enough that we've had to experience MCs then our bodies take that long before we can even have a potential shot MeghanV07

OctoberGirl91 · 02/12/2018 08:36

@DayDreamer1707 I have found those cheap OPKs so hard to read and I was using CB Dual Hormone Kit but the sticks are so expensive to keep up with it as I seem to be on 35 day cycle.

I can see two positive OPKs on your photo though xx

DayDreamer1707 · 02/12/2018 08:46

@OctoberGirl91 I haven’t struggled reading them to be fair because like you said there’s 2 that are definitely positive but that was last Sunday and then you can see how I now have another positive from yesterday 🙈 xx

OctoberGirl91 · 02/12/2018 08:56

This is my first cycle after ERPC on 4th October lost my baby at 8 weeks and had first AF on the 9th but I got first picture spike at 7 days after AF and then last photos were on Tuesday this week so I've been really confused! Not sure I have ovulated or not, although felt physically like it happened on the 29th

I had blood streaked EWCM on Thursday but nothing since and never experienced that before.

Hope you managed to get a sticky BFP xx

DayDreamer1707 · 02/12/2018 09:13

@OctoberGirl91 I thought I had Ov’d the first positive poke because I had what I thought was ovulation bleeding. This time I’m just having slight cramps so god knows. Just have to DTD and see what happens I suppose. Definitely a positive in the first picture. Il do more OPKs x

MeghanV07 · 02/12/2018 09:14

@DayDreamer1707 what CD are you on? Xxx

DayDreamer1707 · 02/12/2018 09:18

@MeghanV07 im on Cd19 x

hayleyfx · 02/12/2018 11:15

Woke up this morning to some light brown spotting. I think I have my answer. There’s no way this is a viable pregnancy after everything that’s happened. Girls do you think there’s much point in getting another blood test? Don’t know whether to phone and tell them what’s happening or just go up anyway. At least I have my answer now, even though it’s definitely not the one I wanted 😣

Beaglemum93 · 02/12/2018 11:31

I think it's still worth having another blood test @hayleyfx. You'll get more of an idea of what's going on if you have tests. Hope you're ok

Beaglemum93 · 02/12/2018 11:36

I thought I was finally going to get a negative hpt this morning because the line was so faint on friday but it seems to be darker again... I'm getting so fed up now and don't know what to do because the doctors don't care.

Justincase87 · 02/12/2018 11:43

@hayleyfx please go for the bloods, if the spotting stops in an hour, then you'll be kicking yourself for not knowing - spotting doesn't always mean bad news - good luck and whatever happens look after yourself X

MeghanV07 · 02/12/2018 11:51

Please go @hayleyfx ❤️ One of my best friends has spotted throughout her pregnancy and she's 14 weeks now with a healthy baby on the way.

Please update us when you've been.

@Beaglemum93 do you have any more doc appointments booked? How long has it been since your mc? Xx

MeghanV07 · 02/12/2018 11:51

@DayDreamer1707 how long are your cycles normally? Xx

DayDreamer1707 · 02/12/2018 11:58

@MeghanV07 before my MC my app said they averaged at about 23 days. But it took me 30 days to have my AF after the MC so this is technically my first proper cycle since that.

@hayleyfx your better to get your bloods done, brown spotting is just old blood. If it was bright red that would be different. Things could still be fine, stay positive x

@beaglemum93 how long has it been now? It’s so frustrating when things are unclear and it our own body x

TinselBee · 02/12/2018 12:03

Oh hayleyfx spotting really can be so many things. I had frequent spotting with my DS, it was just my cervix the whole time. FX for you

TinselBee · 02/12/2018 12:18

Btw, I've not started bleeding yet bit just noticed some green discharge... Sorry if that's a bit TMI! That can't be good can it?

hayleyfx · 02/12/2018 12:26

Thank you all for getting back to me. I’ve taken your advice and I’m about to head up to the hospital. I do need to know for sure what’s going on so definitely going. Thank you all so much for the support ❤️ I’ll keep you all updated x

Lilimum5 · 02/12/2018 13:39

@TinselBee no I don't think that's right go see your doc it could be nothing but better safe than sorry.
@hayleyfx please let us know how you get on.
@Beaglemum93 please go back and insist on a scan or something be done.
@DayDreamer1707 why does this have to be so confusing. I'm now using clearblue digital as it either a positive or not opk and I usually love the ic ones but they are doing my head in at the moment. I can't work out what is going on. When I get first af I will restart my fertility monitor. I'm already temping again. Hopefully my body will start to make sense again soon.
@TwittleBee tbh with you I don't know when I'll be back at ttc as I'm still not right. I had some trouble with medical management and I think my body is off kilter. If I had my way we would already be trying. Is personally up to you when ever you are ready. If you've health problems maybe a chat with your doctor will help. I think it's easier to date if you wait until after your first AF
