@Crossfitgirl I am sorry hun, it's so disheartening isn't it.
That is exciting about the move though, at least you have lots going on to take your mind off it a bit.
We have been at it a while haven't we 🙁 I am coming into month 8 of ttc which seems like a longgg time. We are still on the right side of a year though so not quite time to panic yet. Keep the hope!
I have decided I am going to use up my opks this month and do the whole smep and tracking thing one last time and if it doesn't work I am just going to Dtd every other day instead and forget about the charting and opks for a while.

Welshpugmomma · 02/11/2018 21:18

Aww @ranchorelaxo congratulations to you too !!
So many bfp ... I like this thread:D

So I'm 9dpo I know it's ridic but I'm poas already I just can't help myself, all bfn as expected . I did have a cramping pain earlier which was interesting..... oh I really want this now so I'm just sympton spotting I know :(

I totally get what you mean @flapjackered I'm end of cycle 9 now and it feels like forever!

cupcakesandglitter · 02/11/2018 21:36

@MrsR16 tbh if I wasn't TTC I don't think I would've quit either. Absolutely hate the stuff now but back then I actually loved it (sounds so disgusting to say) But it was habit that I enjoyed - used to smoke in my car too and because I travel so much for work I was constantly smoking! It's a really really tough habit to kick!

@EltzBee ah okay thankyou, I'm going to start the OPKs again!

Ah @stormtrooperjulian same here! Hopefully we get our BFPs soon ❤️

SullyWifey · 02/11/2018 21:48

Evening ladies. Hope your all enjoying your Friday xx

I'm having a glass of wine tonight trying to let my hair down a bit! Got a big family doo tomorrow night and we going to get all those questions on "when you guys having a baby?!" Etc etc. Been married 18 months now, ttc for 11.

Not telling family, apart from mums and dads that we ttc, as the rest all just nosey! (I have a very big extended family who love a gossip)

Waiting for sperm analysis results and have a gyno appointment on 26th. I have "suspected endo" but only way to confirm is a surgery. So hoping my gyno refers me for it, as I just want some answers. Never thought it would take this long, and in the grand scheme of things it hasn't even been long! 😩

(Just met someone though work who has been ttc for 4 years. She's a bloody queen I tell ya.)

Anyways just wanted to let you know a bit more about my situation.

It's a tough day today with the pain I get every day (pelvic pain throughout my cycle, hence the suspected endo diagnosis), so I thought, buggaa it I'm drinking a glass tonight!!

Anyone else know anyone with endometriosis? I had never heard of it until doc said about it at my internal ultra sound in September. Xx

KMOSK · 02/11/2018 22:15

Such lovely, supportive peeps on this thread! Hope everyone has a lovely wknd. Distraction is the aim of the game for me until AF shows up! X

sunshine1987 · 02/11/2018 22:18

@sullywifey I don’t know anyone personally but a blogger I follow called Ebony Day did a YouTube video about it. She went on to have a lovely little girl too 😍

SullyWifey · 02/11/2018 22:59

@sunshine1987 I will look her up, thanks hun xx

Delilah7 · 03/11/2018 06:19

@SullyWifey I have suspected endo and didn't. The laparoscopy was ok so try not to worry if you have to have it! X x x

What a lovely supportive thread this is :) I am finally feeling a little better after my early miscarriage this week and my GP has signed me off another week to recover emotionally as well. Planning on just trying to relax and take it easy, I already found TTC makes me very anxious and I know that will increase now after my miscarriage.

Does anyone know if I am likely to ovulate this month now, or am I better waiting for my period to come back before we try again? I am hearing such conflicting information on it. I have ordered some ovulation kits but wouldn’t even be sure what days to check.

Really sending the most positive thoughts and crossing my fingers crossed for you all

FlapJackered · 03/11/2018 07:48

@SullyWifey - my friend and my sister have really bad endo. So not just a little bit. My friend had ivf despite being told by doctors it was the worst case of endo they had ever seen. She now has 2 gorgeous children.
My sister is currently going through ivf too.
These are bad cases though and even if you do have it, it may not affect ttc they will just suggest that you keep an eye on it, (they may remove bigger cysts) and then once you have had your baby to go straight back on the pill until you want another.
The pain with it is so rotten though so I really feel for you. X

FlapJackered · 03/11/2018 07:53

I am so sorry @MrsEG. I hope you're doing ok?
I am afraid I don't know, but I do think everyone's bodies are different so it may take a while or you may settle back quite quickly. Just be kind to yourself and don't put too much pressure on this cycle.

Delilah7 · 03/11/2018 08:15

@MrsEG oh hun. I can do sympathise with you. Take as long off work as you need as it can hit you later than you think. I think I ovulated the same month but it's better to wait till your first period hun x x x

RanchoRelaxo · 03/11/2018 08:19

@MrsEG sending hugs, glad your doctor seems very supportive, luckily mine was too. In my experience my body went back to its normal routine straight away, it was as if my MC was a period because I ovulated on my normal cd and luckily I have just found out I am pregnant again exactly 4 weeks from the first day I started bleeding! My doctor told me I could try right away and that sometimes doctors advise to wait for a period so that it's easier to date. If you are emotionally ready then I would definitely say to try straight away, I heard rumours that you are more fertile in the few months after a miscarriage but not sure if that is true, good luck! X

I did another test this morning and the line is still faint but slightly stronger than yesterday! Which is good enough for me 😊

SullyWifey · 03/11/2018 08:53

@Delilah7 oh really, well that's positive to hear, did they suggest anything else after your lap? I want to be able to conceive but I also want an answer so this pain!

@FlapJackered thanks for sharing. Bless their souls if they have it so badly. I can't imagine how they cope! Amazing though they have babies and hoping your sister is successful too, ivf is not an easy journey so all my best to them xx

rj995 · 03/11/2018 08:53

@SullyWifey I have a few friends with endo (some more severe than others) and although it can make conceiving a little bit more complex my friend has been pregnant without much bother. Everyone's different but theres a lot more awareness around it today and more common than you'd first expect.

@MrsEG so sorry to hear about your MC, sorry I can't lend much advice on what to do next but sending you lots of love and support! look after yourself.

EltzBee · 03/11/2018 10:25

@cupcakesandglitter here you go, I wasn't temping that month and assumed I had O'd. I got EWCM so did another test.

A close friend of mine has Endo and managed to get pregnant first month! Doctors all said how lucky she was.

TTC FIRST BABY THREAD NO.7
EltzBee · 03/11/2018 10:28

@MrsEG so sorry to hear that. I'm not an expert but think everyone's body is different and trying to minimise anxiety can only help.

stormtrooperjulian · 03/11/2018 11:09

@MrsEG sorry to hear about that. Fingers crossed your body will go back to normal straight away.

@SullyWifey I know nothing about endo so can’t help with that but I’m sorry you’re in pain a lot of the time, I hope the doctors find some answers for you.

I’m on CD7 now and heading into my fertile week, expecting to O on CD13 if my body keeps to the same pattern as the last two cycles.

Delilah7 · 03/11/2018 11:13

@SullyWifey it was something to do with my bowels so wasn't anything else they could really suggest! X x

Catching up a little now!
Welcome @MrsLBear @mrsEG @honeyspice @buffalocauliflower @Emmalouise5688

@ranchorelaxo huge congratulations to you!! I'm so pleased for you, and after your MC that must be the best news ever 😘
Did you do anything different yourself? I might have to try preseed!

(Will watch out for using too much!)

@katbecool @cupcakesandglitter @flapjackered @fivexfive I want a real tree this year too and cannot wait to get a wreath! Love the build up to Christmas! 1st December I am forcing DH to come pick a tree with me!

Ok I'm about halfway through hehe

Crossfitgirl · 03/11/2018 11:31

Welcome @KMOSK!
@sullywifey I have a friend with very bad endo, she has had surgery and is hoping to start TTC soon, from what people have said even if you do have endo it's not going to stop you conceiving. It is very painful so maybe you will get some answers at least from the surgery - get a diagnosis. will they definitely go ahead with it?

A little update on me,

I'm due AF today and have been spotting as usual the last 2 days and AF is certainly going to be here today in full force. Feel a lot better about it than I did yesterday but still devastated as I wanted to be pg by Christmas, but oh well.

On to cycle 8!

Got my day 21 results and also DH's sperm results to come through yet, im actually really nervous for him as if he has a low count I know it will affect his confidence and make him stressed.

Anyone got any tips how to reassure him?

KatBeCool · 03/11/2018 11:49

@Crossfitgirl try not to worry before you learn how results. I was so worried too and all for nothing. As for low count, it depends on how low. And if you start exploring all the scenarios now you'll only stress yourself out. But, to give you at least something positive to think about, low count does not equate to it being impossible to get you pg, it just becomes more strategic. I hope his results come out ok!

KatBeCool · 03/11/2018 11:50

@Crossfitgirl sent previous message too soon. How were your test results? Everything good?

EltzBee · 03/11/2018 11:50

@Crossfitgirl glad you're feeling more positive. New cycle and still a couple chances for us before Xmas! AF coming towards a close for me this cycle hopefully...!

We've not had DH tested but I've been explaining to him already how important both our health is espec with modern habits had can affect his chaps, and encouraging him to improve vitamins, not keep laptop on lap and things that could affect their speed and health! Fertility goes both ways and If there is a problem then the dr will help get it sorted. It is more common than is let on I think.
