@ValidUser still could be too early babs... enjoy that wine. One won't hurt if you are xxx

@Delilah7 your luteal phase should stay the same. AF/BFP might just come later.

And had a negative digital. Blush

I'm actually accepting of my lack of pregnancy - just bring on AF and the next cycle!

FlapJackered · 16/10/2018 19:15

@mrsof20118 nearly there!

@Delilah7 - you may find your luteal phase is normal and your cycle is longer, that is what happens to me each month. My luteal phase is almost always the same but the follicular phase is what varies massively.

Sorry @ValidUser it's really tough when you think there's a line. Enjoy your 🍷 though, the one good thing.

Delilah7 · 16/10/2018 19:16

@ValidUser I'm so confused by it all since MC tbh.

Digitals aren't as sensitive hun xxx

How are we on thread 6 already?

Delilah7 · 16/10/2018 19:16

@FlapJackered if I'm honest I just don't understand it all 😂😂 xx

31, been trying since June, so cycle 5 at the moment and 1 DPO. Decided next month to go on holiday and do none of the temping/tests and just get drunk so looking forward to that right now x

ValidUser · 16/10/2018 19:18

I know they're not as sensitive, but if a FRER had been slightly positive on Sunday I'd have been hoping for more?

In fairness, missed most fertile day. It's still possible. Just less so. (10% chance of false negative at this stage on clearblue and less on FRER, and that's if I were pregnant).

But onwards and upwards!

ValidUser · 16/10/2018 19:19

@Delilah7 it must be so hard after a loss.

Thanks for being a wonderful support.

Rachael321 · 16/10/2018 19:31

Feel like I've been waiting too long, I'm on cycle 10 and seeing lots of 3s and 4s on here!
Also having a few off days, AF playing games with me. Usually here for 5 or 6, now on day 3 and seems to be finished? But the last 2 days have been normal, (pretty heavy and painful) and today next to nothing. Just messing with my head 🙄

RPC28 · 16/10/2018 19:49

🙋🏽‍♀️

KatBeCool · 16/10/2018 20:06

@ValidUser yes, stop. For at least three more days. There's now a stick shortage in the world because you've peed on them all. 😂

@
mrsof20118 yes! You're so close!

@MrsC87 hit them in the face! Just because it worked for someone else to fall pregnant after a sneeze, doesn't mean it'll work for you. People who say "relax" or that "relaxing" worked for them were probably okay with not getting pregnant at all. Imagine this, you're very hungry. And then someone says "oh just relax, you'll eat again soon". Uhm no. I'm still f*ing hungry and it's getting worse by the minute.

sunshine1987 · 16/10/2018 20:10

@rachael321 try not to think about how long people have and haven’t been trying, your time will come lovely, I know it’s hard. Unfortunately that’s the joy of TTC, everyone’s journey is so very diffeeent x

MrsC87 · 16/10/2018 20:13

So true @KatBeCool
Glad I'm not the only one who gets annoyed at the just be relaxed comment!

FivexFive · 16/10/2018 20:23

Hi all, new thread again I see :) See how popular our thread is?! Love it.

My stats: 30, off the pill since March, started full on trying in July. About 5dpo but almost sure it won't be my month. Have made a plan for next cycle to up the doing of the deed. The challenge is every other day, with incentives such as 'doing it in every room' 'new red pants' and possibly even some kind of massage oil?! Anyone else got any suggestions, please send them my way!

@Crossfitgirl, good luck Thursday sweet xx How was your holiday?? Hope work settles down for you too.

@Validuser, step away from the sticks! Also, you can't beat a good poo! Whenever I'm stressed, my 90 year old nan always asks if I need one :)

@Delilah7, thanks for the new thread! Don't be so hard on yourself hun, you're allowed to feel down. There's no set rules for all this shite! You do you and we're all here for you. Eat allll the chocolate! Xx

Essay over, peace out ladies! Xx

Delilah7 · 16/10/2018 20:30

@ValidUser try keep faith darling. It is honey but there are people worse than me! No problem. Here if you need anything xx

@FivexFive yay you're here 😍😍wouldn't be popular without you guys! Thank you. Trying to not be so hard on myself. I've had so much chocolate today. Need to eat fruit. Bad haha. Xxx

Rachael321 · 16/10/2018 20:30

@sunshine1987 yeah I know. Just gets on top of you sometimes, and I hate feeling bitter about it 🙁

MrsR16 · 16/10/2018 20:32

Check in from me!

My stats:
25, cycle 3, cd17, convinced I'm not pregnant this month! I'm not even sure I ovulated! I'm not temping or using ov sticks, just seeing how things go for now.

sunshine1987 · 16/10/2018 20:35

@rachael321 I think that feeling is normal though, it’s a tough process. Be kinder to yourself x

Rachael321 · 16/10/2018 20:52

@sunshine1987 just a few down days that's all, need to try and get back to "normal" and trust my body.

Tonight's plan is a nice bath and then a snuggle and a film, waiting to see what's going on with AF x

sunshine1987 · 16/10/2018 21:04

@rachael321 sounds perfect, I’ve taken to ice cream and bake off lol x

EssJayyCee · 16/10/2018 22:41

Just marking my place as I don't want to miss anything on my hiatus! 😘

MrsM2017 · 16/10/2018 23:32

Hi everyone 🙂

Think I recognise a few names from previous threads (hello everyone 😊)....sorry for the hiatus but in a bid to 'relax and de-stress' I had a little Mumsnet break. However as @MrsC87 says, just completely not thinking about TTC and how much I want a baby is just not possible or like me at all, plus I have noone in real life to talk to about all of this so decided I need this thread for my sanity!

Little background...
Age: 29
TTC: actively for 15 months now but been off of contraception for 18 months

So far no hint of a positive at all. Pretty sure I'm ovulating as both internet cheapies and clear blue digital show clear peaks. I've had day 1-4 and day 21 bloods done which my doc said are fine so I guess that's good....period is pretty regular - every 26/28 days and although I only bleed for 3 days apparently as this has always been the case, it's normal (according to my gp) and they're not worries about it.

Hubby is in the process of arranging and appointment for a semen analysis (he's 30 btw) but this seems to be taking forever.

I just feel so stuck ..... Like caught in endless loop of baby dancing, being hopeful and then the pain of disappointment when AF shows.

I've just finished my period this month, so CD 4 for me....not sure what to try differently this month lol.

Charm23 · 16/10/2018 23:35

Checking in! Nice to see you ladies again!

Stats: 28yrs old, Cycle 8, CD 14, Average cycle is 29 days

Not tracking or doing OPKs, just DTD as much as possible - 5 nights in a row so far cos determined not to miss O! haha Anyone else similar? Most people seem to know when they ovulate (either feeling ovulation pains or getting positive OPK) but I have no such luck and gave up on OPKs months ago. Do you guys DTD every night/every other night or what around fertile window?

Lougg · 17/10/2018 07:33

Hi again,

I'm 32, cycle 4, currently CD34

no idea what DPO as no testing this month. Was expecting AF last Friday but 2 BFNs since. Longest cycle I've ever had in about 3 years of tracking is 35 so if I get beyond that I'll be super confused. Feel absolutely no symptoms so just want AF to turn up now so can start again . Off on holiday next week which we were hoping would be FW but not likely now.

Just had some lovely news though. One of my best friends who had been trying for 10 months and really struggling with it all got her BFP yesterday. The only person who could have told me and not feel a stab of jealousy just genuinely pleased as I know how hard it's been for her.
