Yammers thread 9!

Yammer rules:

A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement. Please read the rules before posting!

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

• Thou shalt not arrive one day and post BFP next day

• Thou shalt not give advice to others when TTC for one month only

• Thou shalt not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways

• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month

• Thou shalt not be offended by strong language

• Thou shalt not tell everyone to eat yams

• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

• Thou shalt not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if you do so.

-Thou shalt not post pictures of positive pregnancy tests. We will be delighted to hear about it but no photos, please and thank you

@impatientmammy The slight queasy feeling is why I tested early when I was pregnant with my son - finding out a couple of days early meant I got to tell my grandfather before he died. Keeping everything crossed for you. When I start ovulation induction I'm not going to buy any tests, just wait for the blood test that they do. So impatient for my appointment! 17 days to go...

Ahhh I def need you guys at points like. How you feeling after swimming? I hope these 17days fly by for you. I really just hope I'm not imagining myself sick cause I want it so much. I've only got internet cheapy tests in the house now so not sure when I can take them reliably i have no AF type symptoms yet so 🤞 4 days to go 😬 x

Ahhh @impatientmammy keeping everything crossed! I don't want to talk too soon but I haven't yet had cramps this month which normally start around now. I also had mad dreams and insomnia last two nights, but that could be the curry. I only managed one glass of wine last night as wasn't feeling it.

Highly recommend clearing out stuff in the house if anyone needs some distraction from ttc.

Ahhh @Owlpatrol 🤞would be amazing if more than one of us moved over to the grads this month. I'm awful at thread names so I'll leave it in your capable hands. "It's about time we were all yamming pregnant" is all I can come up with and I this it sounds a bit angry 😂 x

I'm in a total predicament, I've been invited for an interview to this job I randomly applied for last week and I don't know whether to go! If I get the job I'd have to stop ttc for 6 months but if I don't go I'll never know and I'll still be stuck in the same job! Argh!!

I'm thinking see how the next few days go then test Thursday and if by some miracle it's positive I cancel the interview? And if it's not still go....
Still been having vivid dreams and no real cramps yet 🤔

@Owlpatrol I'd go for it - the way I see it is we end up putting so much on hold for TTC but then it doesn't happen straightaway etc etc... if you are pg I'm sure you'd figure something out? Don't let the opportunity get away xx

I've had red spotting today so I think that's pretty much fantasy over. I still feel queezy but it's probably due to my cold or poor diet or something.
Go for it @Owlpatrol you can always turn down the position if it's offered? Could you def not get pregnant for 6 months if you took it? X

Not having a great day today - feeling lethargic and not bothered to do anything.

Will be glad to get into the pool today - it’s 30 degrees C plus in Sydney today!

I feel really lost today I'm still "spotting" only sometimes when I wipe and there has been tiny clots I googled it and can't find anything. There has been red so was that cycle day one yesterday? My nauseas taunting me this morning too I just want an actual normal period x

@BGDino I hope your ok enjoy your swim I'm doing an assignment and taking myself off to the loo and obsessive amount. X

@impatientmammy going to throw in a suggestion - implantation bleeding? Possibly? Or do you think it's just a messed up period? X

@cupcakesandglitter I would love to think so but I think it's highly unlikely cause it's been red at points I had implantation last time and it was unquestionably pink x

@impatientmammy every pregnancy is different don't forget!! I'm going to be that annoying optimistic person but try and stay positive... has it developed anymore? Xx

Hope you're ok @impatientmammy. I hate the is it/isn't it bit so much.
Such a difficult decision @owlpatrol - so hard to consider putting off ttc for 6 months but I think @cupcakes is right- we put off so much and you might get to the end of 6 months and it hasn't happened anyway. I didn't go for a promotion at work about a year ago because I thought I'd have to step back down again to go on maternity leave after not very long and I didn't want to mess them around. Here I am a year later and I might as well have taken it. My friend got it and now she's probably going to be pregnant before me!

I knowww I'm so stuck! Got an interview coming up! I'll keep you posted
