This week has been very hard. Ds has been diagnosed with sensory processing disorder and congestion behind the ear drum so he can't hear properly. So we have to try to help him cope with that on top of being unable to eat solids properly and asthma, viral induced wheeze and severe eczema.
Its been one thing after another since he was born and its exhausting.
I've been ill and after losing our baby I'm feeling lost and hope less. It took us 18 months to conceive our second just to lose it and I can't see it happening again

Catren · 11/02/2019 07:12

My goodness mammy that all sounds so hard, i'm so sorry. You're doing everything you can for your little son, he's lucky to have you. I really hope you find some joy in amongst the rough patches. I'm not sure about you but i found the research that found that stress has no impact on women's fertility, so don't give yourself a hard time if you're not feeling relaxed and zen. I really hope you get your 🌈 soon
💐

Hi ladies how are you all?
I was Hope but changed name!
Period is late but no BFP. Anyone else? Sad

ale2992 · 11/02/2019 22:29

Ovulation is definitely on its way, should be here according to my apps. But getting negative tests so far 👎🏻
But either way I'm getting the usual symptoms

Crazee · 15/02/2019 16:36

Hi everyone can I join? Starting this month to try for number 2. DD is only 3 months old, but we want to get trying because of our ages and it took so long to get pregnant with her. I’ve done a couple of opks and only control line visible. I’m cycle day 12 of a 29 day cycle. App reckons I will ovulate on Monday, surely there would be a faint line at least if ovulation was so close??

LethargicButAwesome · 18/02/2019 02:23

Welcome Crazee, fitting name because this is often how I feel when overanalysing every symptom I'm due this week - thought I'd test but totally forgotten where I have placed my pregnancy tests, I ordered a fresh batch last month so no idea where they have got to!!! Tempted to order online again so I can POAS THIS WEEK

lethargic I remember that feeling! I keep saying I’m going to be really chilled about ttc this time, but I’ve failed at the first hurdle! I’ve been doing opks and they are all negative. They expire this month though, so I’ve ordered some more to come today to check they aren’t just not working! I’m CD14 today and still negative! I have no idea what’s going on. I did an opk early last week (can’t remember what day) and it was negative, but did at least have a faint line. I can’t have missed it surely?! Anyway as you can see I’m super chilled about the whole thing.... 🤦‍♀️😂😂

Catren · 19/02/2019 23:22

Good luck locating your hpts lethargic!! And peeing on them, obviously 😉 are you feeling any symptoms?

Crazee · 20/02/2019 14:50

I’m finally getting a faint line on my opk. It’s still negative, but slightly less negative than yesterday! I’m cycle day 17 today, so looks like I’ll be in for a long cycle this month. I wonder if sleep deprivation can delay ovulation? Because my DD has been having a sleep regression this last week and is finally coming out of it (hopefully). Anyway I plan to dtd as much as possible next few days just in case!

Mammyofasuperbaby · 21/02/2019 08:26

Glad to hear things are going well for everyone.
I'm now waiting for my next positive opk, so that may take a while knowing me but I have an appointment to see the gp to be referred to a gynecologist to hopefully get some help with this pcos.
We've decided to go to a memorial service held for parents who have miscarried, we feel we need to as the grief is only just starting to set in.
Doesn't help that my 2 1/2 year old ds is always sick and is now losing weight and not really growing so yet another worry to add to the list that never endsSad

LethargicButAwesome · 24/02/2019 06:15

@crazee opks didn't really work for me so it's just often as possible 1 week after af, not very accurate but we are often enough to catch anything. Found my preg test strips, little point BFN. Due on in a couple of days - literally no symptoms so not expecting anything to change

Hi can I join? I'm TTC baby no.2 but still breastfeeding my first...I didn't use an OPK this cycle but had lots of ewcm last week so we bd'd on sat.

I've had some pink/red spotting on Thursday and continued to have ewcm...This has thrown me off and made me think I didn't actually ovulate last week and I'm having delayed ovulation 😒.

Crazee · 24/02/2019 09:00

mammy I’m sorry to hear about your loss. I hope the memorial service brings you some peace, and your DS is doing ok.
merrydoula could the spotting be implantation bleeding?

I did finally get a positive opk on Friday morning! And managed to dtd Friday morning so hopefully done enough! And my DD is sleeping better so all good here right now. In the dreaded tee now so let’s see Confused

Merrydoula · 25/02/2019 21:16

@Crazee Thatsvwhat I thought but that Was last Thursday I think, so if implantation I'm pretty sure by no I would have had a positive on a Hpt but so far just had a bunch of Evaps on internet cheapies... Today I've had a few sharp twinges near my left ovary, pretty similar to when I was pregnant with my DS but it could be anything!

Merrydoula · 25/02/2019 21:27

@Crazee oh and btw my DS is also 3 months :)

Crazee · 25/02/2019 22:21

@merrydoula all the symptom spotting is horrible isn’t it?! I’d forgotten how unrelaxed I am about all this! That does sound quite positive for you though, hopefully you will get your bfp in next few days 🤞I’m only 3dpo (I think) and already symptom spotting even though I know it’s impossible to even have any symptoms this early! I’ll be poas before the weekend! I’m trying to convince myself I’m relaxed about it all!

LethargicButAwesome · 26/02/2019 02:56

Welcome @merry, sounds positive hopefully the good signs will result in a BFP, I am also bf, haven't used any contravention since ds was born 19 months ago, although my periods only returned when He was 6-7pmths, so if I get my period this month it will have officially been a year of trying :( how depressing. My periods are so different and a little unpredictable so being 'late' doesn't actually mean much as I've learnt to realise! Poas this week all negatives so not particularly hopeful going to see if I can wait until the weekend before I Test again, I'm due soonish according to my unspecific period pattern! @ hopefully Crazee good news for both of us before the week is out.

Merrydoula · 26/02/2019 09:49

@Crazee yep it really does remind me lol! I actually get anxiety when I poas and get a gutting feeling...BFN again today ladies, although I technically have no idea when I ovulated so there's a chance I could just be testing way too early...Not feeling hopeful :(

Merrydoula · 26/02/2019 09:50

@LethargicButAwesome My periods haven't returned but still quite early, I'm just guessing ovulation by symptoms..still could be early hun, don't sweat just yet x

Mammyofasuperbaby · 27/02/2019 22:16

How is it going @Lathargic and @Crazee.

Got positive opk again so in the dreaded tww now. Roll on 13th march.
Had a bit of a rough few days as a old friend announced her pregnancy and is due 2 days before I would have been and I just burst into tears. I feel so guilty for doing that so I've had to remove myself for the time being.
Its becoming clear that losing Harley has brought up feelings from the nicu and hdu that I thought I had dealt with but I don't think PTSD ever really goes away

Crazee · 28/02/2019 07:20

@mammyofasuperbaby that sounds really tough. It’s so hard when you’ve been through a loss. We have had some pregnancy loss in my immediate family and my best friend this year. If (when 🤞) I announce my pregnancy I’m going to have to be very sensitive in the way I do it. I hope you are taking care of yourself Flowers

I’m convincing myself I could be pregnant. I’m probably setting myself up for disappointment though. I’m having some of the same symptoms I had when I was first pregnant with DD. But could also just be coincidence. I’m only 6dpo. For me heartburn is the main one, and I had that both times before I even got bfp. But I did have a big meal late last night, so that’s the most likely explanation 😂 I’m going to start testing on Sunday I think

LethargicButAwesome · 03/03/2019 01:55

@mammy stay strong, good news that your getting positive opks more regularly hopefully it will mean more chances at trying and high chance of that BFP. It's always difficult hearing other news when you have been through something as traumatic as a miscarriage, but stay strong! It will happen :)

@crazee hope you POAS tomorrow has happy results!

We are officially at the one year mark since periods returned whilst breastfeeding. Af due any day now but all tests showing negative so think I may well just be late as zilch symptoms :(

Mammyofasuperbaby · 05/03/2019 17:55

Thank you @Lethargic. I'm hoping my cycles are going to be more frequent. 3 positive opk in 18 months before conceiving is a bit ridiculous.
We are off to the memorial tomorrow evening if fil will stop being difficult and pick up dps nan, who is babysitting, like he offered.

Mammyofasuperbaby · 13/03/2019 11:57

Well I'm feeling a bit odd. AF is due today and its always exactly 14 days after a positive opk in the early morning but it hasn't turned up. I feel exactly like I do on the first day ( back ache, mild cramp, tired, iffy tummy and very mild nausea). I've done a ic test and I was completely negative so at a bit of a loss. Confused

LethargicButAwesome · 26/03/2019 23:19

Any luck mammy? Aaf started for me a few weeks ago again in the ttc window. Hoping there will be some luck for some of us on this thread soon!
