@Mammyofasuperbaby I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. No words really but I hope you have lots of support in real life xx

Lovely to hear from you @Catren and it sounds tentatively positive that they may have found a reason for your chemicals? I really hope your hycosy went ok and your next transfer is the one that becomes your baby.

Waves to everyone else. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a baby-filled 2019!!

Mammyofasuperbaby · 18/12/2018 18:36

Well I'm absolutely furious with my mil. Just hours after finding out we'd lost our baby she was ringing people saying that my dated don't add up and I'm lying about being pregnant. She won't apologize and is now acting as if she is the victim and I'm in the wrong.
HOW FUCKING DARE SHE!!!! She is beyond cruel and is preventing us grieving.
Why do people do things like this Sad

Catren · 20/12/2018 04:33

Oh GOD Mammy that's so awful, why is she behaving this way? As if you need any more stress to deal with. I'm so sorry. Please ger DH on the case, distance yourself from her and look after yourself while you recover. Let us know how you get on.

My update is that I've had my hycosy which was pretty much fine, my tubes are both looking good but they found a small polyp, so not sure what that means. I had quite a big one removed last november so looks like another one has grown in that year and I need to speak to my fc to see whether I need more surgery or if I should risk another frozen embryo transfer in January. I really don't fancy more surgery but I did bleed from ovulation to af last month which is a symptom of polyps. Ugh! So we'll see. I'll speak to my fc today so I'll keep you updated.

In other news I've started a new interval training class which I'm going to religiously and I'm feeling REALLY good. Off you fuck infertility depression, I'm exercising you away! And I'm looking great. So there. It's not all shit.

LethargicButAwesome · 09/01/2019 17:43

Hello all, just checking in Happy New Year, how are you mammy hope you rested over the Christmas period and got the support you needed. Sounds like you you have had an awful time.

Hey Lethargic! Happy new year to all. Sending you all the good vibes for your test, keep us posted!
A hycosy is when they shoot saline up a catheter into your cervix, and it flushes through your fallopian tubes and out again. It's checking for blockages. All good results, no issues at all, so that's great. They did find a tiny polyp in my womb which my specialist isn't worried about so we're still thinking that my issues are in implantation and its an immune system thing.

After two months off, trying naturally but no success, I'm gearing up for my next frozen embryo transfer at the end of the month. They'll start all the monitoring of bloods and scans to check my lining and where i am ovulation wise, then will stick an embryo in at 5dpo. I'm having a bunch of other drugs like blood thinners, immune booster (intralipid) infusion and the progesterone pessaries after transfer so fingers crossed. I'm in a MUCH better place mental health wise to cope with things at the moment (doing loads of exercise, which helps!), so plan to just go through the remaining 3 embryos one after another and then take stock. I have hope but I'm not expecting it to work if you know what I mean?

How's everyone else doing? Xx

Mammyofasuperbaby · 10/01/2019 09:53

Hi everyone, hope you all had nice Christmases.
I am doing OK now, the whole thing has been rough but bareable especially since the bleeding finally stopped after 3 weeks.
We want to start trying asap since my cycles are abysmal at best.
As for the mil, she has been put in her place by the entire family and is now sulking. But we don't care. Dp has been my rock and currently isn't talking to mil because in his words " how dare she say such crule things about my partner and our poor baby".
Anyway that's great news @catren

CatRen · 20/01/2019 12:44

Hey all how's everyone faring?

I'm likely to have my frozen embryo transfer next weekend, probably Saturday. Eek! Blood tests tomorrow (monday) will confirm it. I'm bricking it.

Mammyofasuperbaby · 20/01/2019 20:00

That's great news @CatRen, I've got everything crossed for you.
My opks are getting darker finally after 24 days since I stopped bleeding (3 weeks of it) so I may be ovulating in the next week

mayago · 20/01/2019 20:28

Fingers crossed for you @CatRen Not long to wait now hopefully.

@Mammyofasuperbaby I'm sorry you've had to go through this. hopefully things are looking more positive now!

All is well here. 24 weeks gone today already! We started TTC#2 properly around a year ago 💖

CatRen · 21/01/2019 23:36

Glad the bleeding has finally stopped mammy, that sounds pretty rough on you. And good luck this month!

mayago that's sooooo exciting, 24 weeks!

I've started drinking the most rank tasting chinese herbs to accompany my acupuncture sessions. It's all a bit witch crafty and snake oily but i kind of like someone telling me what they think is wrong and what i need to do! Ahh those multiple science degrees and career on evidence based decision making are melting slowwwwly away 😂 send in the magic healers and shamans! Take all my money!

sodababy2 · 24/01/2019 15:33

Good luck with the transfer @CatRen - everything crossed.

Sorry you've been through the wringer @Mammyofasuperbaby - fingers crossed for you this month.

@mayago - glad all is going well with you!

I'm 29 weeks now and all well. It's flown by since I passed 12 weeks. We've not found out sex so it'll be a surprise ❤️

Rooting for you all on here

CatRen · 25/01/2019 00:58

Thanks soda! 29 weeks! Amazing. Hope you're feeling great.

I'm now officially PUPO (preggers until proven otherwise), have just come from the clinic and feeling good! So good that I've treated myself to a fancy green smoothie. Dh chose poorly and his tastes rank 😂 i'm off home now for a restful afternoon 😊

ale2992 · 25/01/2019 08:12

So first attempt at trying this month since my miscarriage, we didn’t DDT as mush as we should but on the right days.
I’m now 7dpo and have been testing and getting negatives, is it still too early or am I definitely not pregnant this time?
Not 100% when I’m due AF as my OH and I decided to try before waiting for a cycle.
One app tells me 30th, another 31st and then another 2nd?

CatRen · 25/01/2019 23:32

Hi ale i'm pretty sure that 7dpo is still too early. 8dpo might show something VERY faint but I'd say you're safer from 9dpo onwards. Do you know exactly when you ovulated?

Mammyofasuperbaby · 26/01/2019 08:05

I'm in the same boat as you @ale2992, we are trying straight after a miscarriage as well.
I've had 2 consecutive days of positive opks (unheard of for me). I'm now on cd34 and 4dpo so AF is due 6th Feb.

ale2992 · 26/01/2019 08:13

@CatRen Yes I was using tests and got positives on the 13th then the 15th and 16th

ale2992 · 26/01/2019 08:15

@Mammyofasuperbaby I'm 8dpo today but I'm using a few apps to predict my period as I haven't has one since MMC and all three say different dates 30th, 31st or 2nd so will see if it actually comes

Frillyfarmer · 26/01/2019 08:17

Hi ladies. I'm also fresh from MC at 6 weeks.

I've had five days of positive OPKs but I'm fairly convinced I'm ovulating today, I recognise the strong ovulation pains.

So, I'm 29 ttc#2. This is cycle 5, having miscarried at 6weeks on 16th Jan.

Jduh · 27/01/2019 09:03

Hi ladies! Currently TTC number 2, on month 16. DH has low sperm count and poor motility, only found this out in November.
First DD is 3.5years and took 4 months to conceive.

I'm currently 3DPO according to BBT and hoping for this month.

ale2992 · 27/01/2019 21:03

Feeling broken tonight, thought myself and my OH were a million times stronger recently we've had a really really tough year and the MMC really seemed to bring us closer but the same old argument has exploded this weekend and I'm fed up

CatRen · 29/01/2019 19:45

I'm 5dp5dt and poas this morning, and there's the faintest second line! Obviously I've been stung before on my first transfer but I'm so pleased to have at least gotten as far as having our embryo burrowing cosily in. Eek! 🤞🤞🤞

Sorry i didn't read the updates, ale i hope everything is ok? Sorry you're down 💐

sodababy2 · 29/01/2019 19:52

Oh goodness! Yes I see it @CatRen! Tentative congratulations and everything crossed for a sticky one xx

ale2992 · 29/01/2019 19:57

@CatRen I'm ok thanks. Waiting to see if AF makes an appearance or not.
Can see a line on your second pic congrats x

CatRen · 30/01/2019 04:05

Thanks soda and ale. Dh said "it's exciting! But don't get excited!" 😂 he was joking but it's exactly how i feel. 😬
