Kicking off with a roll call:

@Dimblebimble Don't worry about asking questions, this is technically what we are all here for. I didn't have MVA surgery so i'm not sure if they said any of the above symptoms that you have had as a side effect? Personally because things are causing you pain I would say call the EPU or your GP it's always better to be safe than sorry. x

Ceallaigh · 28/11/2018 14:19

Hello, hope you don’t mind if I join you ladies. Recently had a TFMR due to fatal fetal abnormalities at 15 weeks so I’m back on the ttc train. This is our first so we’re jumping right back into it in the hope that we’ll have our rainbow soon xx

DayDreamer1707 · 28/11/2018 14:36

@Ceallaigh welcome and so sorry to hear what you have been through. I'm sure you will find lost of help and support here x

Lilimum5 · 28/11/2018 15:23

@Dimblebimble have you had a negative hpt yet. I don't mean to up set you but it sounds similar to what I had and I had retained products. It might be worth speaking to a doctor or midwife just to put your mind at ease.

Ceallaigh · 28/11/2018 15:45

Thanks @DayDreamer1707

TinyPaws · 28/11/2018 15:54

Feeling a little fed up today. It's my due date.

Had a phone assessment from the local NHS psychological therapies service. I can wait a month for a face to face assessment, then if they decide to offer me a service it will be a 4-5 month wait. I've already waited over a month for phone assessment.

9 days until I find out if this IVF cycle has worked. (Although who am I kidding, I'm totally going to test early).

DayDreamer1707 · 28/11/2018 16:04

@TinyPaws I'm so sorry you are feeling that low and down. And i'm so sorry today is your due date, send you lots of hugs, you must be finding it very difficult. It's crazy how long you have to wait for some actual help. I hope this IVF does work for you but maybe hold out on testing as long as you can. I'm only 2DPO and the TWW is killing me so I will probably be the biggest hypocrite if I have any form of any symptoms I will want to test early x

Dimblebimble · 28/11/2018 16:26

@Lilimum5 @DayDreamer1707 that was my inclination too, that maybe there's something left. They did the mva with an ultrasound though, so surely they would have seen it? I had a negative pregnancy test by 2 weeks after the scan, although I was only using internet cheapies which aren't very sensitive. Can't phone epu now as in work and don't want people to hear, but might queue up for gp in morning...

Lilimum5 · 28/11/2018 16:30

@Dimblebimble that's a good idea just to be on the safe side hun. It could be nothing. Also a negative hpt is a good sign. Please let us know how you get on tomorrow.

MakeLemonade · 28/11/2018 16:31

Thank you for the warm welcome and sorry you’re all here too but glad to have found you.

I’m tracking my cycle from this month and have some cheapie ovulation sticks that will hopefully do the trick. Like you say, it makes me feel like I’ve got some control over all this.

I’ve had reflexology this morning which I absolutely love, it was recommended on a few blogs re baby loss and it’s really helped relieve some headaches I had been having. I’ve also thrown myself in to gym, yoga, personal trainer etc to make sure I’m in the best shape I can be for TTC in the new year.

It’s really dull. I really want to drink all the wine and eat all the yummy Christmas foods.

@TinyPaws waiting on IVF outcome and what would have been your due date sounds like a really tough day/week. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a BFP for you!

@Dimblebimble I’d get checked out, I’m not 100% sure what MVA stands for but it’s not something I’ve experience or read about and I had a surgical TFMR which I think might be the same thing?

Tiniestsky · 28/11/2018 18:06

Hey ladies, so finally had a scan today after bleeding 2 weeks ago and had it confirmed it was a mc I had, totally gutted of course as a part of me hoped against all odds that baby bean might have made it.
I'm also, believe it or not, grateful that it happened fairly early, quickly and painlessly as I know a lot of you here haven't been as lucky.
Now to wait for AF to come along and try and get back into a routine, can't make heads nor tails of when that'll happen as still have hcg lingering about.

I feel like the second time round is going to be a terrifying experience 😩😭

marajade12 · 28/11/2018 18:33

@ceallaigh I also had a tfmr at 17 weeks earlier this year. It was absolutely heartbreaking as it took me and DH over two years to get pregnant.

@tinypaws it was my due date just last week as well. I still feel really sad thinking about the baby I lost. Hope you get good news with your ivf soon.

I am treading on eggshells at the moment as just got my bfp today. Af is due tomorrow so just keeping everything crossed at the moment and praying for a sticky bean

Dimblebimble · 29/11/2018 08:23

So I took an frer and I can actually see a faint line, which came up quickly (see pics) after the mc I tested with an internet cheapie and it was blank, but I used one again this morning and it was still blank, so maybe it wasn't picking up low levels of remaining hug? There is a very slim possibility it's a new pregnancy as it's 10 days since we first had sex post mc but I've been taking ovulation tests (again, internet cheapies) and I've had no sign of ovulation.

Got a gp appointment for half 10z

Wearytree · 05/12/2018 03:10

Hi ladies,
Can I join? Ttc cycle 6, one mc at 5:1 and just had bloods done for LH and FSH. My FSH was higher than the GP wanted at 9.1.

Has anyone got experience of this?

strawberrye · 05/12/2018 06:35
