TTC July - Time to try again!

Eek never started one of these threads before but thought i'd be brave.

is cd 1 today This was my first cycle since m/c in march. Feeling pretty positive about July - if i don't i'll cry .

Surely someone wants to join me and stop me looking/feeling like a fool!!

well, the last 2 cycles were 41 days and 42 days, so i guess thats my average now! i remember before i went on the pill (at 14)that my cycles were long, anyway. i don't mind too much! its only an extra 12/13 days!

Ive had a few days off as was my ds borthday party and felt I was thinking too much about ttc felt like it had started to take over everything if that makes sense! This month I am going to try and be more carm and not read into things as it only lead to great disappointment! but feel really positive now thought

Morning ladies

I tested with a cheapie stick this morning, purely from a scientific point of view (I am a scientist, after all, and can't help myself!!), to judge how crap they really are. The line was a bit darker today (which was a relief even though I know they're not to be trusted), but since today is the day af is due, and these tests are supposed to be uber sensitive but the line was still quite faint, I must conclude they're a load of rubbish!!

So you are definately pregnant then. Can I drink my champagne now, the bubbles are ever so slightly flat though? Please let me celebrate for you! I need the champagne.

can i join, sorry not sure what all the shorthands mean. i had my first day on the 13th and think cycle is about 30 days, have been trying to concieve from this cycle. crossing fingers for a little one to add to my small family.

I am going to join on here at last. I have not not been TTC for nearly a year, but only got my DH over the line a couple of months ago. I have DS1 who is 4.5 and DS2 who is 2 and am 38 yo, so ... But this month am being v positive and have notified my DH that he will be required to every second day from day 10 through day 20. He is naturally devastated but compliant . Today is day 13. I really would love to be successful on this round and have a healthy Aries child - a girl would be nice but I am not that fussed. Is it too much to ask?

hello, i am starting to become obsessed by signs and tests even though they show nothing at this stage am i going mad!! well i have very tender breasts that sort of feel like they are working, don't usually feel like this except when i was breast feeding. crossing fingers this is a positive sign.

i do hope it is a positive sign for you but try not to get your hopes up as i did last month for 4 days after AF arrived I was in a very black mood didnt help that AF arrived on DS birthday and not one of my Family rang to wish him happy birthday because they saw him the day before and tought that meant they didnt need to

thats not very nice, these days are so important for children, i know that my son is already plannng his fifth bday in jan. as for me well i hope it is positive but this is the first month so no doubt i'm not superwoman, guess i'll just have to wait and see. ( easier to say). also good fun trying, no need for gym.

I went out on my lunch break to Superdrug and I couldn't resist having a peek at the pregnany tests.. I was so tempted to buy a clear blue 'just incase' but then the sensible side of me kicked in and I thought I might as well roll up a £10 note and pee on it, for the all the good it'll do me!

So I decided on some more folic acid instead!

Dontlookatme - the '2 week wait' is a killer, I can't help but cross each day off and that just seems to make it drag even more!

Scorpio - Could your crampy pains be implantation!?
I was wondering if my cycles had just changed like yours did because weren't you having 31 day cycles at one point? I haven't a clue whats happening and its horrible.

Littlesoldiersmummy - I wish I hadn't thought about it too much this month, but I couldn't help it. Actually may be that's why af is staying away

Also your poor ds on his birthday. It bothers me if family don't call me on my birthday and I'm 25, it means even more to kids!

flumpy-mine changed after childbirth x2 and different contraceptives....the latest is my coil removal, 5 months ago today!the last 2 cycles have been the only normal ones.

try not to stress...it may make your period late!

Afternoon all just checking up on you all. Had a nice morning with 2 friends and their 3 daughters, one has IVF twin girls. It really does make me realise how lucky I am thats twice now I have became pregnant at the first cycle of really trying. I still worry about my little bean though.

scorpio - hang on in there honey I am so hoping you get your BFP this month

flumpytigger - you are much more patient than me I would have gone for the CBD today, might as well know one way or the other. On the clearblue pack it says that if you get a BFN test again in 3 days if no AF if it's still BFN consult your doctor. Have you thought about a timescale for getting things checked out?

Obbley - snap im cd 21 and have a 30 (ish) day cycle. Is this your 1st cycle? Im classing this one as my first though wasnt particularly careful last month.

Maybe I am alone here, but i love me little ds so much that I feel I am being disloyal to him about getting fed up with not being pg (11th cycle).

I get this guilty feeling that i should be greatful with what I have and not feel cheated that the rest of my NCT group are on or growing number 2. Anyone else get that??

I am generally more +ve that this, guess I am having a thoughtful day.

Absolutely agree NappyValley. I feel guilty when I don't think I'm spending enough time with dd and think, what will it be like when (always say 'when' not 'if') we have another baby! But, I just think about how much it will benefit dd in the long run. Well, that's my argument and I'm sticking to it

no no news yet i have a long cycle so i don't think i am yet. lol. i had some beers over the weekend so you never know!!! lol.

Trying not to think about it every min of everyday and trying to think that 'it will happen at some point' because it's happened before. i wish i didn't have such a long cycle though.lol.

AF due on the 18th july but last month my af was two days early?? so mayb e they are getting shorter. it's so confussing sometimes you think you've got it sorted and then that happens. lol
