Waiting to TTC Graduates Thread

Hi lovelies!

A thread for the graduates of those who were waiting to TTC and are now actively trying, or very soon to be actively trying! @NeverHadANickname I'm rooting for you and very excited for you to test!

My temp has gone up quite sharply the last 3 days in a row. So much so that FF has moved me back to 3DPO. It's looking good for ovulation but I've had these false rises in long cycles before which then drop back down without a BFP or AF so trying not to get my hopes up.

Haha we'll see what tomorrow brings then look at testing Thursday if I need to.

Good luck @NeverHadANickname! We are all rooting for you. Do you pay for Flo? I downloaded it but it looked limited unless I got the full version.

I'm officially just waiting for my last 'wanted' AF. Any more after this will be unwanted

@mussie I might go back to natural cycles again if I can find my thermometer. It made me too nervous to use as contraception but no harm now we don't mind!

@dottydally no I don't pay for Flo. I use it to log weight, AF, symptoms, times dtd, bbt and ovulation stick results. DH uses it too to help keep an eye on things.

So still no AF for me this morning. This is far TMI but we dtd this morning and often I can tell AF would be happening that day because it would all come back out tinged with red after which didn't happen. I might be testing tomorrow after all. Are the FRER a pink dye test? I have been looking this morning where I can buy them here 🙈 is it too early to get a tiny bit excited? It's hard not to.

@NeverHadANickname I might need to have a better look at it then. It was a quick glance as I wasn't sure how helpful it would be. I want to get my thermometer out too!

Credit to you for DTD in the morning. We are not morning people here so it is just get up, get ready and go to work. Weekends are fine but never weekdays! FRER are pink. You can also get them on amazon prime but no guarantees what time it would arrive. I ordered a couple in anticipation

@dottydally when you are in Flo on the Today tab you will be able to press the + symbol to add for that day. Once there if you go right to the bottom you can add more parameters. Once you have everything you need they just list them in the + section each day for you to update. I am by no means an expert but feel free to ask questions.

It is definitely morning for us. DH gets up at 4am to go to work for 6:30. Took me a bit of getting used to and he often does leave me to sleep if I need it. He works long days so nights are often out of the question and if we wait until we were in bed that wouldn't work either because as soon as his head hits the pillow he is out for the night.

Pregnancy tests have been purchased (came in a pack of 2) 😊 we'll see what happens today and tomorrow morning.

@NoseringGirl just woke up, 05:30 here. Holding in a wee waiting for DH to come back upstairs. Thanks for thinking of me. I slept terribly, considered testing at about 1am, that's FMU right? 🙈😂 I waited for DH though and dropped back to sleep.

Well I can't quite believe it but it's a BFP! Two definite clear lines. I wish I could post a picture but I never can on here annoyingly.

Thanks @cupcakesandglitter there have been happy tears. I have family coming to stay today and we only moved in 2 weeks ago so still lots to do but DH is not letting me lift anything 🤣 I usually wouldn't dream of telling people so early but since they are here we'll tell my parents at the weekend. I live in a different country to them now so it's this or tell them on video chat or send them something in the post.

@NeverHadANickname I KNEW IT, I just had a gut feeling you were upduffed!! I'm so happy for you, massive congratulations!!!! (Gutted you cant post a pic though, I do love a BFP LOL!) 🎉

Haha thank you @rollerskaterdata 😊 I was weirdly optimistic this month too. Honestly, the lines are practically the same colour. So glad I waited until I did so there was no doubt. I'd gladly WhatsApp you a picture, I have no one to show it off too 🤣 message me if you like.

Thanks so much everyone. Family here safe. It's so strange, it feels like nothing has changed but really everything has changed.

My temp has continued going up and is higher than its ever been since we started TTC. I'm swinging between hopeful and still not being convinced I've even ovulated because my cycles have been such a mess the last few months.
Here's my chart for anyone who is interested in that sort of thing!

@NoseringGirl I'd say you've ov'd! I'll attach two of mine below - first one is the month I started temping and it was literally all over the place, I had a super long cycle and don't think i ovulated. Started temping again this cycle and it's such a difference! Pretty sure I ovulated on Sunday but my temps haven't risen quite enough yet - think I'm a slow riser! X

A few months ago I wouldn't have doubted it. Then I had that cycle that went over 90 days and twice it looked like I'd ovulated but it just dropped down again. It's just made me really cynical about temp rises! I do think the current one looks more convincing though.
