I know @cupcakesandglitter has linked us to a new thread but I'm not sure I am strong enough to be surrounded by those TTC already!

I've only got 2 to go!! All getting a bit more real for my OH even he's starting to get a bit impatient waiting but he's determined to wait 🙄

5 to go here 😔😔. However my overdraft is cleared and my credit card is next!

@McHelenz that's amazing! Well done you.

The apps have their limitations don't they - mine has still not worked out that pretty much every cycle except the first month that I came off the pill has been 27 days, so it's still averaging as slightly longer than that. I do find it useful to have all the data there though.

Hey guys! I was thinking the same today, been a little while! I’m just about due my nov period in 2 days so once that’s out the way only 3 more to go 😂
Also getting super excited for Christmas now we’re basically out of October! Must start the shopping. Whole family’s coming to us so will be hectic but also good fun (hopefully 😂)
I used OPKs this month to get an idea of my cycles / I was bored of waiting to do something, and apparently ovulated about 3 days later than my period tracker app predicts so I will defs use them when we actually start TTC!

@Tropicana1 I haven't bought anything like OPKs yet and tell myself we will just 'see what happens', but in reality we all know I'm going to be a crazy woman. Maybe I could buy some just to see where I stand and test the accuracy of my app.. cue DP thinking I'm slightly obsessed.

For all those with 3 months to go, it's time to start taking folic acid!

So my last cycle was 32 days, then this cycle was 29 days!!! I finally feel like they are starting to regulated!! Sorry for the random post just needed to tell someone else other than my OH!

Jellies that's great! Haha not quite the sort of thing you can go around celebrating with friends though.

I need to start taking folic acid, I did get some a while ago and thought I would start taking it just in case of an accidentally early pregnancy, but I never quite got into a routine. The trouble is I don't feel like I can leave it out on the kitchen counter! Maybe I should put it by my makeup bag or something that I do every morning, to remind me.

I'm going to get some pre conception vitamins in the new year. Apparently you should start taking them 3 months before!!

How is everyone else?

I'm well thank you (well, as well as you can be in the first trimester!). Sick, tired and all round useless 😂 I'm 10 weeks now and impatiently waiting for a 12 week scan date, unlike my last pregnancy I didn't get it there and then when I had my booking in appt with my midwife 😡 I'm hoping not long to wait now though! I keep calling the hospital, they must be sick of me!

I found with taking my multivitamins I put them next to my toothbrush and take one before bed, as I know I'm less likely to forget in the evening than when I'm rushing to get our the house.

Just booked a ski trip in march without thinking... now I've realised we will be trying from Jan so a chance I could bein early stages of pregnancy - Google has conflicting advice!!

Good morning ladies, hope you don’t mind me joining in. I’m going slightly mental waiting to TTC, need to wait until January (there’s an issue with work meaning a due date before the 1 October will cause me big problems) but we’re ready NOW. I’m on a 25 day cycle, but that means there’s 3 more periods to go until we can ditch the condoms and it feels like forever!

Morning ladies. @dottydally my OH definitely thought I was a crazy person 😂 I’ve been using my app period tracker for the last year or so just so I know when I’m due on, so it was interesting that even with that much data in it it still got my ovulation date wrong!

At the moment I'm just agreeing to things but secretly thinking I might not be around to take part in them! But you can't put your life on hold for ever.

Hi everyone, I was on the last thread on this topic but fell off this one because I got super-whatever-the-opposite-of-broody-is!

When DS was 5mo I was sooo keen for #2 but knew it was a bad idea, for various job/health reasons... and then a fortnight later I’d sworn off babies for the next several years! 😂 He had a period of waking twice a night and I was so fed up, but now really abruptly his routine changed to sleeping 12hs+ a night with no issue! He’s just turned 9mo and DH is keen for number two, but I just want to get my muscle tone/career/life back. Recently read a thread on how much early pregnancy sucks and was revelling in the fact it wasn’t me... although I know that if and when we do TTC, I’ll be desperate to succeed from the first month!

Hope everyone else is staying sane, the waiting is tough...!

I've gotten all broody again. My best friend is due in January and im currently making bits for her. I cant wait until its our turn. I dont know how I will wait until April!!

Does anyone get nervous that it wont happen? That you'll have something wrong and it just wont happen?

Weirdly I'm finding this last stretch the most difficult. It's been 11 months since we decided 2019 was the one but time is dragging now!

I want to just stop being careful but I really can't risk it yet bastard zika.

@McHelenz I am utterly terrified that it won't happen for us. No reason to be. I also have this irrational fear that I will have waited this long and missed my chance. Not sure why!

Yea I am on zika Countdown too. Ace holiday but 6 months now 😭😭

@mchelenz and @dottydally I totally get the same irrational fear, although partly not irrational - I was told a few years ago after bloods and a scan I had PCOS but had a scan this year that showed no evidence of PCOS - since there seems to be no evidence for it resolving in still concerned I may have PCOS despite the normal scan, although I have read up recently about contraceptive pull induced PCOS which I think I had

It's part of the reason we pushed forwards our TTC date from 2020 to 2019, you never know how long it's going to take!

Just popping back to say hello to everyone. I've been a bit AWOL recently but work has just been crazy. I am really excited to be able to say I got my promotion though so we are all good to ttc once my zika wait is up!

I just wanted to check that it's definitely 8 weeks wait and not 2 cycles? I didn't get a single bite while away but still being cautious. I'm hoping 8 weeks because my fertile week is in 9 weeks! It would be perfect timing.
