TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

I've still not had AF show up. My husband is just on his way to the shop to get another pack of 2 tests. I don't know whether to take one tonight or wait until the morning. Will probably take one tonight... I don't really want to have either a positive or negative result and then have to rush to work.

@flossy I haven't really had any symptoms yet unless being incredibly gassy counts?? 😂 I feel like I'm going to be apologising a lot for TMI on this thread

Whereabouts is everyone on their cycle. It would be helpful if we posted stats for everyone.

pops I personally wouldn't test until after 10dpo. It hurts to see blank pregnancy tests. The earlier you test the more likely it will be negative.

I told DH that I won't be telling him when I'm ovulating anymore and that we will just dtd without the pressure. He seemed relieved. He agreed that it would be better to just dtd and focus on the moment 💜

@Carastarchild I'm doing the same with DH so I can't update my CD or AF due date because I have no idea 😂 xx

I think I ovulated on the 5th, CD 17 today and due AF due on the 21st. I'm going to hold out on testing for as long as possible, not for another week at least xx

Thanks everyone, you're being very kind! I am usually an optimistic person but it's not easy getting all these BFNs. Still no AF and boobs getting slightly bigger each day. Got family coming to stay very late tonight until Monday. Probably won't test with them around. Think I will wait for some more obvious symptoms, unless AF shows up obviously! Xxxx

@Carastarchild that's a good idea about not telling your husband when you are ovulating. I will do the same next month if AF ever shows up. Still no AF... CD 36 now.

@cara I’ve been taking a similar approach as @cupcakes I’m not entirely sure when I ovulated 🙈 I’ve been pushing all thoughts of trying to conceive aside and just having fun 😂 it’s been working a treat for DH too. I also noticed my boobs were extremely sore the last 2 cycles before because of pregncare preconception tablets I was on and extremely gassy, sorry TMI which made me think ooohh 👶

this cycle I’ve just been taking folic acid and no aches so far 😁 has anyone experience similar symptoms with vitamins?

@london You should see the state of my house with all these boxes...I can’t wait to be done with it. Also doing sober October so can’t even toast the new house 😂😂😂

DP convinced me to crack open the frers last night. Apparently just having them in the house was too tempting for him 😂 Anyway, long story short, it was a BFN. Clear as day, not even a hint of a shadow and to add insult to injury my temp has started to drop this morning. I know I'm not out until AF shows and PMS symptoms havent kicked in yet, but I'm not holding my breath. Safe to say, I won't be persuaded to test before AF due date again!

AF showed up this morning for me. I am not too sad though. Ready for next month. Hopeful for a July baby! Xxxx

Sorry I've been quiet, DP took me away for my birthday as a surprise which was lovely. Although I couldn't do the spa treatments!

@LondonKez you're not out yet. One day can make a big difference on those dreaded tests! That's what I was like last month though, I did my test early and I was a nervous wreck for a week. I was so much more relaxed this month by not testing, FX AF stays away xx

@ChikiTIKI I'm sorry AF showed up. Great attitude though.. think positive and stay relaxed!

This month for me, I got the CB OPK sticks which detect 4 days before, I think I BD every day for 5 days before and on the day and then I just relaxed. I knew when AF was due and I was adamant not to test beforehand. I was so much more relaxed than the other months, I think that accounts for so much

Sorry haven't been on much. hqve been super busy at work since I came back from holiday. I come home most evenings exhausted. I am CD 10 today, and there is no sign of ovulation. I am still reading low on the monitor. Thankfully it's Friday 🙏💜🙏

Hey @Carastarchild, I O'd on day CD 13 of a 25 day cycle. EDD is 19th June. It's still so early, I thought I'd relax once I got my BFP but I'm still nervous and hoping all will be OK xx

Curly That is to be expected. Take each day as it comes. That's all any of us can do! Hopefully we all won't be long joining you and this thread will be full of Summer babies :D

Cupcakes funny thing is I think ovulation will be late this month! DH hasn't asked about it and I actually can see a difference in him. He seems more positive. Do you find the same thing?

Chiki I hope AF isn't too painful this month for you. By the time your family leaves, AF will also be on it's way. Perfect timing for Baby dancing

@Carastarchild oh good! ❤️ not with mine, he's been ill for the last few days so that's put him off - generally DH doesn't initiate too much though and I have a feeling it's just not going to be this month. Hopefully because he's better now we can get back on track but it's really hard not to force it 😂😂 x

AF due tomorrow. Still none of the usual cramps, but my bbt is shifting down ready for it, so seems inevitable 😔

Trying to stay positive, but really hoping November is our month if I'm out now as it'll be our last month before we have to start thinking about making an appointment with the doctor.

Hey ladies how are you all feeling today? I caved and took a test... bfn of course! I don't know why I do this to myself I'm only 9dpo🙈 I've been getting af style cramps but only on the left side so fingers crossed that's a sign of implantation? Or just wishful thinking😣af is due Sunday so it's going to be a longgg week for me
