Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

@carastarchild - a pretty random guess! I got the (tmi) EWCM around day 12 of my cycle and in my previous cycles I ovulated around that time (as I conceived previously around that time). Was trying to take the pressure off by not using OPKs or reading too much into it!

Chiki when did the pains start? We dtd yesterday at lunch time approximately 1.30 pm Grin and I was definitely ovulating. We then dtd again this morning, at 7.30 am, which was only 18 hours later. We did what we could when we could Smile

London I came off the pill 7 years ago as I kept getting low blood pressure when I was on it. I actually suffered a lot with ovulation pains for about two years, and then it all settled down. Now it hurts a little but nothing like all those years ago.

@Carastarchild - haha thank you! I'm so clueless. I stupidly thought I'd ovulate at similar times each month. Yikes!

Fae I would trust the opk and take it that you are about to ovulate Smile I have tried the not monitoring approach as well but it's just not me, and in fact I found it more frustrating.

@Carastarchild the pains started about 1.5/2 hours ago. Not had sex yet (being lazy watching tv!!) but did have sex last night.

How's everyone feeling today?

I feel so sick... CD15 I think another sign of ovulation. Was expecting to ovulate sometime between CD15 and CD18.

I think/know I’m testing too early... only been off the depo for 3 weeks, but my eyes are making me crazy! I’ve had light very low abdominal cramps today, extremely tired (nothing new I could sleep for England) and back ache. Can anybody else see a line? This is was lunchtime today. I’m going shopping to stock up on tests but hope I’m not setting myself up for disappointment x

I will test again tonight cos I’m too impatient to wait.. this is a cheap one so will use a clear blue or first response. If still unsure will test again in the morning x

I stupidly tested too early today, I think I’m only 6dpo (could be as little as 5dpo I suppose) but I just feel “off” and my boobs are sore. I’m sure I can see a line, but I also think it could be wishful thinking! I will keep testing every morning anyway lol

Chiki so did you manage to dtd last night? I was exhausted and fell asleep on the couch. Do you think you are ovulating right now? I have to say the clear blue fertility monitor was incredibly accurate. I am off on holidays on Saturday. Can't wait. I will be 11 dpo when I get back. Fx October will be a lucky month for us all 💖

@Suzie I can't see a line but they don't always show up as much in a photo. Have you tried putting it in an app that converts the photo in to negative images? I've seen people do that before to check if their eyes are playing tricks on them.

@Carastarchild oh that's good I hope you have a lovely holiday! Did manage to dtd last night. After reporting my symptoms this afternoon I've since had diarrhoea :( sorry for tmi. Was going to dtd again tonight but don't think so now.

I really hope we get some BFPs in our group now and through October. My 11 month old has started saying "baby" in the last week or so. I am taking this as a sign that someone will get pregnant soon!!

Chiki Maybe your DC knows something you don't 🤗 Children are very intuitive. My bowels go funny as well during ovulation but I am the opposite I become bloated and sluggish.

Maternity it's hard to tell because it looks like the test looks saturated, and it looks like the colour ran a bit. I am on a mobile so perhaps it's not as clear to me. Fx another test will clarify things for you.

Suzie that's probably way to early to test. Perhaps wait a few more days, as HCG doubles every two days after implantation. Implantation typically occurs about 9dpo.

Maternity it's best to test with FMU, as it will have the strongest concentration of hormones. I am sorry that you got a negative. How many days past ovulation are you? Perhaps it's simply juat too early.

I’m not sure as I’ve only just come off birth control so haven’t had a period yet. I think it’s wishful thinking!

@Suzie2287 I would say it's way too early to test at 5/6dpo - have a look at these stats www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/ - at 6dpo, 96.4% of women who turned out to be pregnant got a false negative at that point. FX for a BFP soon though!

7dpo and counting.. slightly crampy but I know it's too early and I can see on my chart I had the same this time last cycle.

4th cycle ttc but first where I'm not going to test early. AF is due on friday 28th Sep. I've decided if she's not here by monday 1st oct I'll test. The disappointment of a negative test doesn't make AF turning up any less disappointing for me, I seem to hold out hope til she's in full swing, I can't keep doing it to myself!

No more temping for the same reason - for me it drops 2 days before AF so just as bad as testing!
