TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

Betty It's hard to know, as pregnancy and period symptoms are very similar. Test with fmu. I hope you get answers soon. Perhaps your symptoms are also from the implant as it is releasing hormones. However saying that you had to have the pregnancy hormone, hCG in your bloodstream in order to get a line on the Asda test.

Flossy sounds very promising 🤞l hope you get a nice strong line tomorrow morning.

London I hope you feel better soon. I'm sick myself again. The joys of working in an office environment. Fx you too get a BFP. Brown blood is old blood. Hopefully AF will stay away.

@chiki what is the name of the app? As I ask this question I honestly think I need to forget about it and see what happens.

I woke up at 4am for a wee and decided to test as I thought that would be better than my second wee when I woke up. It was BFN. So Tuesday was a BFP, yesterday was faint and today, nothing :( (if i really squint it looks like a evap line) Looks like it might be a chemical again.

Feeling very AF'y today. I guess it's not over until the fat lady sings but the symptoms I had seem to have faded, apart from the cramping.

Curly I am sorry to hear that. My doctor said before that tests are so sensitive now that they pick up on chemical pregnancies that people in the past wouldn't be aware of. She said that was the cons of the sensitive tests, as it's very emotionally upsetting when you know. Sending you a virtual hug. Remember it's not over until AF shows up.

No updates from me. Not feeling overly optimistic. This cold has overshadowed any symptoms I had comvinced myself of! Have resisted poas so far. I only have cheapies and AF not due until somewhere between Tuesday and Thursday next week, so would be pointless!

I’ve caved and tested this morning using Ovaview. I’ve cursed my cheap ways because of the crap reviews I’m seeing on Amazon 😂
I’m too cheap to fork out for FRER, I think.... AF’s due on Sunday so I might test Sat morning. I don’t feel too convinced because of my lack of symptoms. I tested quite early on with both of my DC and had been having the usual symptoms, sensitive nipples/some nausea.

I’ve been playing on CountdownToPregnancy and it says I should test on Monday, of course.

@bubblemumma1 haha! I'm also cursing my cheap ways 😂😂 not tested before and itching to, but I know it's absolutely pointless with the tests I've got! Natural Cycles is telling me to test next Saturday... as if anyone could actually wait until the last day of their expected period 😏

I'm currently sat at my desk working from home... I say working. My concentration and motivation is zilch!

I'm not entirely sure when my period is due, my last cycle was 25 days (which would be Saturday) and my cycle before that was 22 days (yesterday)

I've spoken with my friend and she suggested not testing until Monday! If I knew one way or the other I could get on with it. It's the not knowing!

I thought perhaps we should have a pact and not test until Monday... who am I kidding?! 🙈 I'm already thinking of popping out to buy another one for the morning! So bad..

@ChikiTIKI that sounds weird, sorry I can't advise you because I've never got the hang of checking cervix - I must be weirdly constructed, even my smear test nurse couldn't find it the other day, lol! Maybe the spermies need a map... are you using OPKs? Any toher signs? What day do you normally ovulate?

@Carastarchild I got another day of flashing smiley, which is highly unusual for me but also I think the equivalent of the 'high' on the fertility monitor (estrogen not LH). Am expecting my solid tomorrow. I was so happy it didn't turn up today (DP away til tomorrow) that I did a little dance in the shower.

Hello all :-) I've been having trouble with my phone so catching up on everything. I should be ovulating over the next few days so hubby is in for a busy weekend/week! I haven't managed to read all the messages do we have any BFPs yet?!

Assuming 14 day leutal phase, last month I ovulated on cd18, the one before cd15, and I won't include the month before because I was still breastfeeding a lot then so cycles were not regular at all.

Don't think I did actually ovulate already, probably just some odd coincidence, maybe my muscles were just relaxed. Just whenever I decide not to be obsessed with ttc, I get obsessed with it!

Had a helpful therapy session today so feeling fairly positive.

Time to have sex again today, just having sex every 48 hours (not EXACTLY lol). Was tempted to have a lot more sex this month but I don't think that's actually beneficial, from what I've read!

The app I use is called Ovulation Calculator and the symbol for it is green with a white plant/flower symbol. It prompts you to check a lot of things and log symptoms, has videos and other educational stuff which is useful.

Never used OPKs.

Hi ladies, update ....

Started another light bleed today, thinking AF is playing me around. I think maybe implant is starting to wear off 6 months early and hormones are going back to "normal" !?!

Woke up feeling much better, but 11dpo and all little twinges and cramps have gone too. AF still not due for another 4 days, but not feeling too optimistic, which will at least soften the disappoint!

Solid smiley this morning on CB advanced OPK! Also a strong line on IC OPKs at 9am (yes I do both so shoot me). DP back tonight. Feeling a bit sad because I just have a feeling O will happen tonight or sat morning which means we'll only BD once before O. He's been on a walking & kayaking trip with friends so my little mind is going 'nooo! the sperms will be all overheated and old!!'. I guess we can do it again Sat night (which we will anyway since he's been gone all week ) but the egg might be gone by then. :(

Lottie I use both as well 😁 Just to be sure to be sure 🙏 Remember all it takes is once, and one sperm is all it takes to catch that egg. I am on my third day of high. I did an opk yesterday and it was faint enough. I am not due to ovulate until Monday approximately anyway.

I will be using FRER and an internet cheapie, so fingers crossed. I’ve also been getting some pinching which has been unpleasant and my boobs ache but think that’s due to pregnacare conception Vits.
