Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

@carastarchild 7dpo now. Woke up with a huge cold today. Would love to believe it's a symptom but the part of me that's still rational knows that I'm generally quite run down from work, hen parties, weddings and birthday parties that have taken up every weekend since mid June! I always get a cold when I've not had proper rest.

I've not used clear blue at all so far. Just used the cheapies...let me know how you get on!

Carastarchild · 11/09/2018 08:53

London I am CD 8 really, as I missed inputting my information on time. Low surge just as I expected. DH dropping me to work. I hope you feel better soon. Vitamin C and zinc. Actually they say to cut up an onion and leave it by your bed. It will absorb the viruse and germs.

Hi ladies!

How is everyone doing?

My bleeding has continued for 4 days but so extremely light unlike any period.
And today is got this awful phantom smell of aniseed and it's making me feel sick.
Could be the implant and hormones but it's just another symptom that's making me feel like I could be pregnant.
Has anyone else experienced phantom smells? Xxx

Carastarchild · 11/09/2018 12:02

Hi Betty how many dpo are you? Also what tests have you been using?

AnxiousBetty · 11/09/2018 12:56

Hi Carastarchild

I'm not really sure how many dpo tbh! Having the implant has caused really irregular but super long and super heavy periods for me. This one has been completely different.

I used a Clear blue test last week but not the digital one and it came up negative. I've got Asda own tests at home so tempted to give it another go in a couple of days. Symptoms are all still here apart from heavy boobs.

AnxiousBetty · 11/09/2018 12:59

I've had headaches two days in a row now too, that's another symptom that's progressed

AnxiousBetty · 11/09/2018 13:09

I'm currently on lunch at work and this sick feeling just makes me not want to eat! If this is just hormones I really hate them right now 😓

Carastarchild · 11/09/2018 13:14

Betty I think the digital ones aren't as sensitive as the frers. Definitely test again just so you know. Limbo land is torturous at times.

Carastarchild · 11/09/2018 13:41

Sorry just re-read your post. Perhaps it was too early to test. Definitely do a test in the morning. I have my fingers crossed for you Smile

Pebblespony · 11/09/2018 13:41

I've got tonsilitis. And some brown spotting. Dr said that he won't do the antenatal appointment for two weeks in case anything happens. He didn't inspire me with hopeConfused.

Carastarchild · 11/09/2018 13:45

Pebblespony brown spotting is old blood. It's probably just from implantation. Gargle tepid salty water to help rid your throat of the infection. That was a bit blunt and unsmpathetic of your doctor....gosh... talking about bedside manners. Fx it will all settle down.

Pebblespony · 11/09/2018 17:32

He really put the wind up me. Celebrations well and truly on hold. He's well known for his bluntness! But he's an excellent doctor.

AnxiousBetty · 11/09/2018 17:33

I did a test at work. It's difficult to see but I think I can see a faint line. Can anyone else see it? Confused

ChikiTIKI · 11/09/2018 17:52

@AnxiousBetty I see a line there! Congratulations :)

Flossytots · 11/09/2018 17:58

Oh my gosh I see it too🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations @AnxiousBetty!!

Carastarchild · 11/09/2018 18:08

Betty asda tests are 25mIU and frer's are 12 mIU. I can definitely see a line 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Get yourself a frer and test again with fmu 🤗

Pebblespony · 11/09/2018 18:21

Looks like a line to me. Congratulations!!!

AnxiousBetty · 11/09/2018 18:36

I'm gonna test again in the morning with fmu so hopefully it will be stronger. I'm not going to lie ladies this was a complete accident. I'm on the implant so I guess I need to get it removed!
I'm only 20.... and dp is not ready. But part of me is excited!

Carastarchild · 11/09/2018 18:49

Pebblespony a good doctor is wonderful, but manners are still a necessity. Fx you feel better soon and that the bleeding stops.

Anxious A baby is a wonderful gift. Fx you will get a more definitive answer tomorrow morning 🌟

AnxiousBetty · 12/09/2018 07:33

I did two tests with fmu this morning ladies and I got 2 BFN .... could yesterday have been a false positive?
Or maybe my implant is messing with the hormones?

LondonKez · 12/09/2018 08:06

@anxiousbetty did you use a frer? That's strange as there does look like a line on the other test. AF symptoms are pretty clear cut for me, so I've never actually got to the point of testing so I'm probably not the best placed to give you advice!

Good luck with the frer and keep us updated x

LondonKez · 12/09/2018 08:18

@pebblespony I hope you feel better soon lovely xx

AnxiousBetty · 12/09/2018 08:42

I guess I'll just assume that I'm not pregnant for now and wait for normal af to show up. Symptoms of phantom smell and sickness are still carrying on this morning.
It is carries on for the next couple of weeks I'll have to go see doc
Might get rid of the implant and go back on pills for a bit if this is what the implant does to me 😖

AnxiousBetty · 12/09/2018 08:43

I used the same brand test this morning that I used yesterday lunch time and an Asda own one. I'll get a frer is af doesn't show up in the next couple of days

Carastarchild · 12/09/2018 11:55

Betty I am so sorry to hear that. You need to get a first response test and test again in the morning. Pregnancy tests check for HCG, so unless it's in your system it won't turn a test positive in any shape or form.
