TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

@jenstarxx I'm sorry you're feeling so awful. I know I'm not alone when I say I genuinely know how you feel. I cried in the toilets at work for half an hour when af arrived 2 days early last month. Hopefully your holiday will give you a chance to relax and recoup.

I only started temping and using OPKs this cycle. I was tracking cm before that.
They make you think unprotected sex once will get you pregnant, so the reality is a real shock. I think that's been the hardest thing for me to get my head around!

@carastarchild oh, I think this month will be hard for me 🤦🏽‍♀️ temping, SMEP, OPKs and pre-seed in a syringe - all for the first time...we really went all out! 😂 My ladybits are exhausted 😂 all that effort means this 2ww is going to be particularly difficult!

I noticed today my CM has almost completely gone... I'm worried this is a bad sign :( I'm 10dpo I think although I could be maximum 12dpo I reckon.

The days are going by so slowly! :(

Just had another BFN... I have no self control!! And a lot less hope now. Hope some others on here can have more luck soon!

I'm sorry for those with BFNs but remember it's not over until AF shows up.

So I just tested with a CB and got a BFP. It could probably be a bit darker since I am 14DPO but I suppose it was late in the day. I wasn't meant to test until tomorrow but I caved as had a feeling and the tests were calling me from the bathroom cabinet 🙈

@Chikitiki I am sorry you got another BFN. You still have time to get a BFP. Hang in there. I know it's super hard, but FMU is more potent.

@Londonkez I nearly spat out my tea! PMSL...your poor ladybits! I getcha I ordered the Clear blue fertility monitor. It's pricey but I won't mind if it works.

I literally finished work, had dinner, went shopping, called to my sister, came home, made my DS's school lunch...and just plonked my weary bones down on the couch. Two more days and it will be Saturday! I have to keep reminding myself of this......and breath. The good news is by Saturday AF should be gone...well hopefully

Hi all, sorry for being quiet! Kept having symptoms but getting BFN’s and then today AF arrived so it wasn’t meant to be!

@Carastarchild I knew what you meant and yes it’s nice to have a cycle buddy ☺️ @LondonKez have you noticed any symptoms yet. We’ve also been trying the Smep and you are right it’s super exhausting. It doesn’t help that my opk was showing positive from the 2nd but checked again on the 3rd and the line was extremely dark and you know with the Smep we’ve been at it like knives since 😂🙈 but I’m exhausted 😴 I think I will give the last day a miss.

Cd17 was when I thought that was my first opk positive (02/09) but when I tested again the following day the line was much darker

@flossytots we must be completely in sync, right down to ovulation! Positive OPKs started for me on 2nd too and much stronger on 3rd and a flat out negative on 4th. Got another temp surge this morning though, so a bit confused now!

SMEP has exahaused DP too 😂 He is ALWAYS happy to DTD but said to me this morning "after this last one, I might need a rest for a couple of days". In our entire 11 year relationship, I have never heard him say that 😂

@Pop I feel so sorry for you. It looks like it was a chemical pregnancy. That happened to me a few months ago, and I felt like I was punched in the gut...Be kind to yourself and take some time to heal from what happened. The only positive I could take from it was that something happened....the egg and sperm met...next time I hope you get a sticky baby and a healthy pregnancy.

Hi all, can I join? Just stopped using condoms about two weeks ago. So I guess we're officially TTC. AF due in 4 days.

AF showed up today :( feeling very tearful and sad!

If I can bear to think about the good points... My cycles seem to be slightly shorter now, so that's good. Sorry I can think of any other good points.

Are you all staying on this thread for the next month? I will report back later with expected ovulation etc, once I have given the bad news to my ovulation app. Going to have a glass of port in the bath tonight. It's been a long day.

I woke up with a sore throat and I had really bad menstrual cramps. AF was heavier today as well. Longest day ever in work. I kept dreaming of snuggling up in my bed. TG tomorrow is Friday. AF isn't easy when you are also sick.

@Flossytots and @LondonKez I got positive OPKs on the same days too. I’d started DTD on CD11, missed one day then ended up not being able to DTD on both days of positives. Keeping my fingers crossed some sperm was hiding away or something!

@LottieB87 My Clear blue ovulation monitor today. I just wanted to ask when do you start using it? As in what CD do you start testing for ovulation.

I have been so exhausted that I haven't been monitoring my temps. I seem to forget every morning... I guess the main thing is to try and start monitoring it tomorrow morning and take it from there.

I hope everyone is okay (waves) ...CD 4... yawn 😴

@Lottie I meant to say that my clear blue ovulation monitor should come today. My friend said she got pregnant first time she used it. Sounds like it's really accurate. I am actually going to use the cheap ovulation sticks as well to do a side by side comparison with it. That's the science bit

@Carastarchild aww I am sorry to hear you still aren’t feeling too good, You deserved a well rested weekend doing nothing. Also try to incorporate fresh ginger in your lemon and honey drinks, it works as a natural antibiotic.

As for POAS I’m desperate to get started😅🙈 it doesn’t help that I have a drawer full of hpts🤪
