Hiya,

This is our first cycle ttc and I thought it would be brilliant to chat to ladies who are currently in the same position and support each other’s journeys...I’m 15dpo and AF is one day late but giving her a chance to appear before testing. I’m feeling chilled about it but the tww does feel like forever!
For context I’ve been off all contraception for over a year, have been tracking my cycles on an app, find that I’m usually spot on 28 days but took a while to get there post implant and EWCM and ovulation cramps appear at the same time the app says that I’m ovulating. I haven’t started temping or charting but may do in a few months. Would love to hear your circumstances!

Morning ladies, so today I got my BFP! After 9 months of trying so very happy! Tested with fmu at 15dpo, and period was 4 days late and stomach was cramping but in a different way so I just knew I was pregnant. @Nataliej1984 - how's pregnancy treating you? X

Nataliej1984 · 12/01/2019 09:24

Oh @Darma87 that's amazing! Congratulations I'm so happy we have another BFP on this thread. I'm good, well I say good.. my boobs have never been so painful when I roll over in the night it feels like they are full of liquid and it's all sloshing around. I haven't got as bad cramps any more but my first few weeks the cramps made me worry but I was assured they are normal. I've had nausea for the last week. People keep telling me to eat but the pregnant ones at work say eat what you can and what you fancy until it passes! We have a private scan booked for the 23rd!

Oh I'm so happy for you @Darma87 so when is your due date??

Nataliej1984 · 12/01/2019 09:25

Sorry don't know why that's in bold ...

Darma87 · 14/01/2019 22:43

@Nataliej1984 due date is 20th Sep! So far I'm super hot at night and waking up during, boobs also very sensitive. Been more crampy today and some light brown spotting when wiping, trying not to stress about that part... Did you book with your gp or a midwife when you found out? Internet says different things!

Darma87 · 16/01/2019 19:57

Sad news, my light brown spotting turned into a full blown period so I've lost the pregnancy, and confirmed by pregnancy tests. Totally gutted. Looking back I think the same happened back in July but I just didn't test so had no idea. Trying to be positive as at least I was able to get pregnant, something I've been worried about as I have relatively short luteal phase. X

Darma87 · 16/01/2019 19:57

@HallowsandHorcruxes - how are you getting on? X

HallowsandHorcruxes · 16/01/2019 21:05

Hi @Darma87 so sorry to hear about your loss Thanks make sure you look after yourself

I'm still attending the early pregnancy clinic after my ectopic - first dose of methotrexate didn't work so had to get a second on 10th Dec.
HCG down to 400ish from 5300 at the time of the second injection - feels like slow progress but I'm hoping tomorrow's visit will be one of my last (fingers crossed)
Need to wait two cycles before we can try again, hoping I can get back in a rhythm as soon as possible x

HallowsandHorcruxes · 16/01/2019 21:06

Congrats @Nataliej1984 that's great news SmileThanks

Nataliej1984 · 16/01/2019 21:13

Thanks @HallowsandHorcruxes I keep checking back to see how you all are ❤️ I hope it all goes well at your visit and you can look forward to the next 2 months ..

@Darma87 I am so sorry about your loss I can't imagine how you feel.. make sure you get plenty of rest and look after yourself. It's such a emotional journey isn't it, how long have you been trying? Xx

Darma87 · 12/02/2019 21:26

So after my early MC I am pregnant again! 4 weeks today, so still early but FX for a sticky bean! @Nataliej1984 and @HallowsandHorcruxes - how you getting on? X

Nataliej1984 · 12/02/2019 21:37

Oh wow! Super happy for you!! I only checked this post last night for any updates I might have missed.. keep thinking positive I know it's hard, just make sure you rest and take one day at a time. I have been for my 12 week scan today I'm 11 weeks and 4 days everything was fine. I was nervous all morning.. I went for a 7 week reassurance scan helped settle my nerves it cos me £46 but well worth it you can go from 6 weeks onwards and they say once you see a heart beat the chances drop.. oh gosh I'm just beside myself happy for you @Darma87 🤗🤗

HallowsandHorcruxes · 13/02/2019 20:39

@Darma87 aw that's great news 💐 congratulations - keeping everything crossed for you x

I'm still attending early pregnancy 🙈 they just can't get rid of me! HCG was 54 last week and they have said they are waiting until it's below 11 to discharge me - keeping everything crossed that tomorrow might be me at the end 🤞🏻

Darma87 · 15/02/2019 22:22

Aww thanks guys, still early days so just desperate to get to 5 weeks on Tuesday🤞.
@Nataliej1984 - wow 12 weeks already! How was the 1st trimester? Hope you didn't suffer too bad from morning sickness?
@HallowsandHorcruxes - good to hear you're almost at the end! Was that about 2 months? Good luck!

Nataliej1984 · 23/02/2019 21:48

How are you getting on @Darma87 ?

1st trimester was not good, I really struggled with nausea 100% of the time for about 7 weeks, one of my colleagues at work is 5 months in front of me and she helped massively reassuring me it won't last forever and take one day at a time. Smells and aversions gallor! Hot baths and hot water bottles got me through the beginning but some sickness pills off the doc took the edge off and I was able to start doing day to day things again. Although my aversion from my better half is still there 😂 the nausea is slowing down.

How are you feeling??

Nataliej1984 · 23/02/2019 21:49

@HallowsandHorcruxes how's things? Are you able to start trying again? Thanks

HallowsandHorcruxes · 24/02/2019 10:22

Hi guys, glad to hear that your starting to feel better @Nataliej1984 - constant nausea must be awful :/

That's me finally discharged from early pregnancy on Thursday SmileGrin so I'm back on the train just need to wait for my cycle to kick in and just keeping a track of what's going on.

It's been interesting actually looking back on my app and seeing what was different on the cycle we got our positive - fingers crossed that means another positive isn't too far away x

MissG2MrsB · 20/04/2019 16:56

@Nataliej1984 - how are you keeping? I know this thread has gone quiet but I just wanted to let you know that I bought the cb advanced fertility monitor after seeing your post and we got our first bfp in the second month of using it and cycle 15 since starting TTC. Just wanted to say a thank you for posting as I might not have bought it (it’s expensive) if I hadn’t seen your post and I have no doubt that the monitor helped (we’d been doing it at the right time but not as often as we did when using the monitor). I’m only 5 weeks so not telling anyone as I had a friend who lost at 8 weeks and another at 9. Don’t have any symptoms other than no period and a bit of a ‘heavy’ feeling sometimes, which worries me a bit, but my hubby said I’d be worrying if I had lots of symptoms like bad cramping etc. and he’s absolutely right Confused @Darma87 and @HallowsandHorcruxes how are you both doing? Xx

Nataliej1984 · 28/04/2019 20:51

Just seen your message @MissG2MrsB I'm doing really well!! 22 weeks and 2 days now. We are having a Girl!! I swear by that monitor! Oh I'm so happy that you went and got a BFP!! I didn't have any symptoms either and I worried all they way to 20 week scan. Still do! I think it's normal as long as you don't obsess. Enjoy it, everyone is totally different as you will learn and be blissful in your lack of symptoms as mine went from nothing to terrible nausea and sense of smell and the most painful boobs 😂 however it doesn't last long and you get through it!!

How are you feeling this week? And the other girls I hope your all well? 💗

Darma87 · 28/04/2019 21:19

Hello! I'm 15w 2d now, doing really well thanks! I was quite fatigued in the first few weeks, but didn't have any morning sickness so very lucky. I have been starving the whole time and already put on at least half a stone!! I do have very vivid dreams since becoming preggo. Had my scan 2 weeks back and was so fantastic to see the baby wriggling around. Just excited for the next scan or to hopefully start feeling the baby in the next few weeks! Glad everyone else is keeping well!

Nataliej1984 · 30/04/2019 22:25

It's so nice to her after a long thread! I'm glad everything is going ok for you @Darma87 I'm like you with my dreams they still haven't stopped, and some are quite intense 😂😂
