Hiya,

This is our first cycle ttc and I thought it would be brilliant to chat to ladies who are currently in the same position and support each other’s journeys...I’m 15dpo and AF is one day late but giving her a chance to appear before testing. I’m feeling chilled about it but the tww does feel like forever!
For context I’ve been off all contraception for over a year, have been tracking my cycles on an app, find that I’m usually spot on 28 days but took a while to get there post implant and EWCM and ovulation cramps appear at the same time the app says that I’m ovulating. I haven’t started temping or charting but may do in a few months. Would love to hear your circumstances!

Hi ladies

@Laurakent21 get another test done!!

Still no AF 🙄 I've stopped counting. Blood test back all normal LH slightly high but nothing to worry about according to the doctor.

I'll test again this weekend as it will be 2 weeks from my last test and doc said to test every 2 weeks in case a pregnancy does develop. I am not getting my hopes up though

HallowsandHorcruxes · 26/09/2018 22:15

Hi everyone,

AF finally arrived for me on Monday Sad was obviously just running a little late this cycle!
At least we've moved on to the next one now I guess.

Darma87 · 26/09/2018 22:33

@HallowsandHorcruxes - I have a feeling I'm about to join you, reckon it's AF on the way for me as still spotting! Hmm

Darma87 · 28/09/2018 14:41

So I'm out again, AF started now! Not convinced I actually ovulated this month as was negative opk cd11-20, then high cd21-24 (I ran out!) with AF cd 27 today. I have the thermometer now so trying that, hopefully I can figure out ovulation that way!!

Nataliej1984 · 29/09/2018 23:29

Chin up girls.. new cycle, new chance!! Thanks

I took a test today still negative, still no AF. Currently away in Wales I'm hoping a weekend away will relax me enough to ovulate or start AF 🤞🏻

feverbee · 30/09/2018 13:00

Welcome @Peacock14! I did similar to you - I've been off the pill for around 1 year, using apps to track. I'm 28 y/o, cycle 2. First cycle we just kind of went for it and didn't check or track ovulation. This month we tracked ovulation, more just to make sure I'm ovulating when I should be. Currently 8 DPO.

Peacock14 · 02/10/2018 13:04

Hi Ladies,

I’m out again this month, I was away and then became really ill so waiting for AF next week. Aiming for a better cycle next month Sad

Fingers crossed everyone for the next cycle, this thread needs a bfp! AF coming to an end for me and ready to go! Wink

feverbee · 04/10/2018 17:58

AF has arrived 🙈 on to cycle 3. We're going to try eating better this cycle, exercising more and drinking less alcohol. I've also just started taking pregnancy vitamins. Has anything else helped for you gals?

Nataliej1984 · 04/10/2018 22:05

Ive changed no back to Superdrug's folic acid with vitamin D three weeks ago and since Saturday I've had the sorest boobs and, TMI warning, nipples!! 🤭 so sore when I roll over at night I wake up in pain. This is a normal AF sign for me so I think my 120 day cycle may be coming to an end!!
Your right @feverbee We really need a BFP on this thread, laws of average, it's gotta happen. Sounds like a really positive plan for your next cycle 😊

Nataliej1984 · 11/10/2018 16:27

Hi ladies,

After 125 days AF arrived yesterday and is in full swing! I'm back in the game and on CD 2 finally!!!

Any updates from anyone??

Darma87 · 11/10/2018 16:59

@Nataliej1984 Awesome news! I'm CD 14 and tracking cm and using the cheapy OPKs. Looks like I'm about to ovulate, not convinced I did last month. Had a good heart to heart with DP on the stress of it all which he was totally oblivious to so that was good. This cycle we've been DTD every 2 days since AF finished so hopefully this is the cycle! How's everyone else? @HallowsandHorcruxes you must be in your FW now?

rosti · 11/10/2018 17:22

I'm getting close to my AF date and so nervous that I've had butterflies in my stomach for the last few days. It feels like the lurches your stomach does when you drop on a rollercoaster but constantly. I think it'd be prudent to wait until AF date to test and I feel like I'm probably premenstrual anyway so might not even get chance to test. I just want this so much Sad

Nataliej1984 · 11/10/2018 19:13

It is hard @rosti try and focus on the things you can do like exercise, eating well and doing all the stuff you can't do when you get your sticky bean like going out with the girls or shopping in peace. Doing these things really helped me to relax about not having a AF for so long and I'm convinced it helped it come. I tested every 2 weeks, I won't be testing again now until I am 2 weeks late I find the negative to upsetting.

I feel your frustrations tho my best friend announced she is expecting last week and she's not even trying. Happy accident. We will all get there eventually xx

rosti · 11/10/2018 19:46

@Nataliej1984, thanks for your kind words and advice. Really appreciate it. Glad to hear you're back in the game! Well done for being so patient - must have been really tough.

So many of my friends seem to be expecting all of a sudden! One friend from school who I used to sit next to on the bus and who is three years younger than me has announced an unplanned one. Thrilled for her but so eager for my own. Best of luck and baby dust to everyone xxx

rosti · 11/10/2018 19:47

Oops, messed up the tagging there somehow, sorry.

HallowsandHorcruxes · 11/10/2018 20:42

@Darma87 yep, I'm back to the cheaper OPKs and had a faint line today. Will need to DTD tonight and tomorrow as I'm away all weekend - bloody typical!

Sending positive thoughts to you all Thanks

Darma87 · 12/10/2018 11:39

Temp spike this morning and now negative OPKs so confident I ovulated yesterday, quite happy to have a confirmed OD for once! Managed to DTD 3 times in the window so let's see in 2 weeks!

MissG2MrsB · 12/10/2018 13:24

@Nataliej1984 aww im so pleased for you, it must be a weight off your shoulders knowing you can finally move forward 😀 I’m so glad you said that too, one of my best friends has just announced her 2nd and although I’m thrilled for her, it is still frustrating, and then I feel terrible for even thinking like that! She fell pregnant immediately with her first (came off the pill and fell pregnant the following month) too. Everyone’s different I guess! I’m CD 20 and got a positive opk yesterday (cycle 10) so fingers crossed this cycle. We’re trying to get parts of the house done up so focusing on that and exercising more which is helping. As ever, wishing everyone the best of luck!

Nataliej1984 · 13/10/2018 00:06

I think it's pretty normal to feel that way, I let myself have 15 minutes and move on.

CD 4 for me it really is a weight off my shoulders just, like you say to move on! It's my mission this month to see when I actually ovulate so I've started my clearblue fertility monitor up this morning, it's been collecting dust for 4 months I'm quite excited just to start tracking again haha

Darma87 · 15/10/2018 23:22

@MissG2MrsB - looks like we have the same ovulation date! I'm aiming to test 26th Oct, going to try to leave it as late as possible, but let's see if I can!
Ironically I've had to convince friends I'm not actually pregnant following a sober weekend as I'm on antibiotics for a gum infection!

MissG2MrsB · 17/10/2018 12:01

Darma87, that’s funny because I decided to do sober October last year, just for the sake of it, but because we were married the previous July, I got a few people thinking I was pregnant. Since the Royal baby was announced, I’ve had another couple on my Facebook announce they are also pregnant and they got married earlier this year too, I’ve asked my hubby that if we don’t conceive this month, can he go to the doctor and see what they think about a sperm analysis. He works 12 hour shifts including night shifts and has been working 50+ hours doing over time and I think that might have an impact. He’s not been to the doctor in about 10 years as well 🙈. Just getting a bit fed up, I know the ‘80-90% of couples will conceive in a year’ statistic but what I want to know is, out of the couples who haven’t conceived in 10 months, how many then conceive in the last 2 months? I can’t imagine that statistic is too high.

Darma87 · 19/10/2018 23:40

@MissG2MrsB Its just impossible to avoid pregnancy rumours if you're a woman and not drinking. I've finished my antibiotics now but have a bit of a cold coming on so quite fancy a total booze free weekend, but feeling the pressure to have a drink just to avoid awkwardness! #verybritishproblems

This could still be your month, but not a bad shout to go see what the doctors recommend. I'm 6 months in now and have even started googling what IVF cycle options are available fromy local CCG, which is 0 as of this year! I'm moving house to an area that offers 1 cycle so hopefully it doesn't come to that...

Darma87 · 22/10/2018 00:13

How's everyone getting on? I've had a tiny bit of spotting today when wiping so think AF is on her way for me. Fingers gets crossed its an implantation bleed but not so sure. Lucky cycle 7 to come?!

Nataliej1984 · 22/10/2018 07:51

Hey,

I'm on CD 13 and I still on low fertility on my clearblue fertility monitor. It's my first month so it's a big test if I'm ovulating or not, I can't temp I've tried that will be a last attempt for me. Just about to test again this morning but not seeing the big o yet.

Let's hope it is implantation spotting 🤞🏻
