Thanks Weasledee.. that is reassuring.
I promise ill let you all know by end of weekend.. I think im just playing psychological games with myself.. If I fear BFP a little bit then BFN wont be too bad. 😐

littlemimosa · 15/09/2018 07:59

Hi everyone.
Congratulations Marty!! So great to see a BFP on here. Can you remind me of your stats please? I’m sorry if you’re repeating yourself I’m just a bit behind lately.
Good luck to you Funky.
As for me still not ttc but going to start again soon. I’m just happy to report that my cycles seem to have gone back to normal this month after my strange 75 day cycle complete with hot flashes and other weird things. Last cycle was 28 days with ovulation on CD12 with good strong symptoms of oestrogen and progesterone. Praying it stays that way as we get back to ttc.
Struggling a bit emotionally at the moment with friends announcing third pregnancies. I can be going along fine until one of those announcements then I’m a mess. I’m sorry to those of you ttc number one, I know how it must sound, but the heartache is so so painful stillSad

Chatbash72 · 15/09/2018 08:15

@littlemimosa the ache never subsides... cuddling my nephew is lovely but painful... sending big hugs... 💕

Taxgirl1 · 15/09/2018 10:35

Congrats @martydog. That’s lovely news.

Hugs to you @littlemimosa.

Hope everyone else is doing ok today. I haven’t had a great week. Went for a scan on Monday and they told me I have retained pregnancy tissue. My body still thinks I’m pregnant. I just wish that my hcg would fall. I just want to be able to move on. Feel very out of control and like my body is betraying me. Went for my first ever acupuncture session yesterday to see if I could start to balance my hormones....

Martydog · 15/09/2018 11:51

@littlemimosa I am 41 have a ds who is 11. I miscarried last October at 6/7 weeks then in May I went for an early scan at 8 weeks as I had been bleeding and there was no heart beat. After 2 lots of medication I ended up having a d&c.
So I am really hoping this one sticks. 🤞🌈

Ladies, quick question for OPK experts... fertile CM started early at CD8, I've had 4 flashing smiley faces, now cd12 but CM disappeared. Haven't had static face yet? Does CM come and go in fertile time? I feel like fertile time is firmly closed.. is it possible to O early and miss the static face? (Clear blue adv digi opk) Or is CM fluctuating and still haven't o'd? Obv I expect you all to have crystal balls! Grinxx

WishingonaStar77 · 15/09/2018 17:32

Hi Ladies,

Just joined today, hope you don't mind me joining this thread.

I'm 41, had 3 miscarriages (2 back to back) TTC first child. Am waiting for recurrent miscarriage investigations but I'm so worried my eggs are running out of time quickly.
I've signed up for acupuncture starting on Saturday. Feel like I've read so much about egg quality just looking for some support and sharing in my joinery hoping to help others and myself at the same time 😊

Just on my 2nd cycle of TTC after miscarriage end July at 9+6. Hoping for a little miracle..

X

WishingonaStar77 · 15/09/2018 17:39

@Dinah99 my CM comes and goes.. the only sign I have that I have ovulated is the creamier lotion type CM.
I ovulate CD 15/16 and usually only get my static smiley face on an afternoon.
I think as you get older your CM does get less.. I was worried mine had dried up and I wouldn't get pregnant so started using pressed. My OH complained it was toooo wet so I stopped. I got pregnant twice after that so obviously it was up there somewhere 😊

Are you testing morning and evening? I've heard it's easy to miss it being such a small window but I never have..

X

Chatbash72 · 15/09/2018 17:48

Welcome @WishingonaStar77
So sorry for your losses.. hope you find support with us.. deffo lots of advice, from vits to yoga... sending baby dust ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chatbash72 · 15/09/2018 17:51

@Dinah99 my cm is still quite reliable on ov time, and I'm one of the " older" ladies... but we are all diff... I sometimes get loads on last days of af, so tend to try to regularly dtd during the cycle as not to miss an early egg.. ( which can happen too as you mature) x

WishingonaStar77 · 15/09/2018 17:57

Thanks Chatbash72 😊 x

Floofsquidge · 15/09/2018 17:58

After a positive first response pregnancy test earlier this week I waited until period was well past its due date and took 3 tests this morning including a clear blue digital blue one with weeks indicator so we can see the words. All 3 BFP. Exciting and terrifying. So hope our tiny bean survives, still can’t quite believe it. Looking back at my temp chart compared with previous 2 months and very different from my chemical. The temp is consistently high after ovulation.

Over 40 ttc - August baby dust for me!
mellongoose · 15/09/2018 18:22

Eeeek @Floofsquidge that's very exciting. I've everything crossed for your bean.

Lovely, lovely 😊 to see BFPs xxx

Taxgirl1 · 15/09/2018 20:44

@floofsquidge that’s fantastic. Everything crossed for you that things go well. What lovely news.

@wishingonastar77 so sorry to hear about your losses. It is a tough ride. I’m new to this group as well and already finding it helpful and comforting and the ladies have made me feel very welcome.

karryk · 15/09/2018 20:53

Yay for @martydog and @floofsquidge Grin

Big hugs to all. I've been a tad busy at work and with home stuff so disappeared for a bit. AF has finally arrived today, 10 days late! Am sure that taking a break from the oestrogen tablets helped. Going back on them in a few days to get and get the lining to grow Hmm will hopefully try again next month.

Does anyone have a referral code for the ava bracelet? I'd like to get one Smile xx

Floofsquidge · 15/09/2018 21:07

so excited for you @Floofsquidge great news xx

Chatbash72 · 15/09/2018 21:33

mondaycando1 · 16/09/2018 09:03

Floofsquidge congratulations!!

Finally cd14 & got a hint of line on opk, will be more today am sure. DC1 & 2 obligingly gave dh and I a lie in this morning too Wink

Funkypuzzle · 16/09/2018 12:55

So I just got BFN on a clear blue. 13 DPO but only CD 23 as My OPK suggested I was going to ovulate on CD 10 or 11. I am utterly baffled!!!! I feel totally pregnant. Intense hunger pangs which are temporarily relieved post eating only to re-emerge a short while later. That feeling like you have a vacuum in your abdomen that you only get when you are pregnant. Intense sense of smell too. Sicky feeling in afternoons and evenings.
Light AF cramps yesterday but nothing today.

I can only assume this is a post Mirena issue and I must be PMS or something. But I don’t even feel bloated. I also don’t feel tired which doesn’t fit with pregnancy but I put that down to CO enzyme 10...
Any ideas????

Lumpy76 · 16/09/2018 16:18

Hello again! Briefly came on here after I got bfp in August. Unfortunately (after I chose to get a private scan) I’ve had a mmc again and go in for the second part of medical management tomorrow evening. Dreading it tbh. Waited for a natural last time but haemorrhaged - very scary. Praying tomorrow will be different! We are hoping to try again and I’m going to ask about taking progesterone if I conceive again. 43rd birthday is looming in January but I fell pregnant quite easily so hoping that we can do it again!

mellongoose · 16/09/2018 16:30

Oh @Lumpy76 I'm sorry to hear that. Sending lots of energy your way.

Funkypuzzle · 16/09/2018 17:01

Sorry to hear this Lumpy. Wishing you a swift recovery from the mmc and treatment. I dont know much about progesterone Im afraid. Will they do any tests to work out the cause of the mmc?

Lumpy76 · 16/09/2018 18:34

Thanks for the kind words! I am hoping they will test the baby for chromosomal abnormalities. As far as I know progesterone is important in maintaining the pregnancy and can be low if you are breastfeeding (as I still am). However, I had a successful pregnancy after my last mmc and fed through that pregnancy and have fed through previous pregnancies with no problem in the past. I am just hoping we can get lucky one more time and have a successful pregnancy after this one.
