Ladies, here's our 2nd summer thread :)

Like mimosa im popping in to say hi. Hope everyone is well. Ive a bit of catching up to do with the expanding thread. Ive had a very busy non ttc related summer. Currently on the tww but have no expectations of a bfp this month even though we threw everything at it.

Wonder if the wise ladies can help me here. I had my mirena out 2 weeks ago and I have no idea what would count as CD1 - CD anything really. I had the teensiest withdrawal bleed. Barely knicker-pinking level which ended 5DPMirenaRemoval. Since then DTD every possible moment (challenging as long hours and last 2 weekends had guests over but nothing like a challenge to get the creativity flowing). Question is therefore a) would I have been anovulatory during the 10 years of Mirenadom, if so, when would I start ovulating again and when is it most likely or b) If ovulatory, how can I even remotely predict when likely to happen / have been happening as zero EWCM (that I've seen) in the last 10 years.

Any ideas please?

Auntie geek I am in a similar situation. But I’m only 3D post removal .
I am also having low level cramps and dark spotting. But very dry. Much drier then I was with the Mirena. I wondered if this counted as AF and the ovulation signs will emerge within in next 10 days or so.. But that might be over optimistic 😢😢😢

I hAd Mirena for 2 1/2 yrs pre removal.

I don’t feel right since Mirena removed. Not sleeping well and appetite has increased. Hope this is worth it...🤨😕

My sleep patterns went out the window for 2 weeks; I put it down to work and too many visitors.

It will be worth it for both of us.

AuntieGeek and Funkypuzzle sorry I don’t have a clue about the mirena question as iv3 never had one. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along soon to offer you advice.

AF hasn’t shown for me today - seems like the IVF has had a positive effect on my short LP as it was 12 days last cycle and 11days so far this cycle. Hopefully this will last but it’s typical that I’m impatient for her this time so we can get started on the next round so she’s late!

No temp rise after what I think was ovulation day so not getting my hopes up here annoyingly my oestrogen tablets give me nausea so that's not helpful!

Oh well, back to planning next month

Bit of a blughhhhhhh cycle, think I feeling ov twinges but got a full on weekend at work and not normally a lady who doesn't feel up for dtd, but hubs isn't up for it when I am... so feeling "sod it" and can't be arsed this month.. is that wrong ? Am enjoying filling my body with loads of pate and soft cheese brought home from hols and have fall a bit off the right foods wagon.. Hope you all have a not too wet and soggy weekend.. summer feels like it is over 😞 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am the same this month chat, have written off this month and looking to next so have been eating crap and drinking too much. There has to be some benefit to these crap cycles right?!

Today I am 5 days post mirena removal.
Had been having mild cramps and brown spotting but today cramps a little worse and passed a little red blood.. So I guess I could count this as CD1. Not sure if flo will gather pace to become a proper AF as I remember them.
Im not charting yet as Im sure Ill he disappointed what with it being cycle 1 post mirena. Ill see what happens.

Happy bank (bonk?) holiday weekend all. Am on full cycle 2 now and on the tww, 8 or 9 dpo & because I am a mug tested yesterday and today. Neither fmu as yesterday was mid afternoon and this morning was after a wakeful night where I'd been in the night anyway. Not surprisingly both bfn. I don't feel pmt stressy but omg my boobs are painful and markedly bigger according to him. Didn't notice any ewcm but then we've been at it quite a bit so maybe it wasn't so obvious. I am not going to test again til Wednesday when it'll be cd27 & 12/13 dpo. Husband is still defintely up for a few more cycles ttc#3 though even though ds1 &2 have been vile this week, roll on back to school!

@FunkyPuzzle am in France for a fortnight so not sure if I could even find one! Will do so on my return. Currently have a random pain in my left side so could be ovulating or could be anything.

Fingers crossed for everyone else though!

Hi ladies, I have been around for a while but finally decided to post this morning. I am 41 and ttc number 3. My other 2 children are early teens. I had a MMC in September 2017 and have been heartbroken ever since. Due date anniversaries and other milestones have come and gone and I am still impatiently waiting. Sometimes more hopeful than not. Since April this year I have had 3 cp in a row which have all been devastating. Hubbie and I have decided to full on go for it until Christmas this year and then we feel we have to move on with our lives. As everything has been in hold for the past 18 + months. I am taking Bud vitamins with Maca and Ubiquinol (300 mg). Lots of dtd during fw. I do opks and am confident that I know when I ovalute. I don’t temp as I found it a bit too much. Hopefully I can join you ladies!!!!! Currently 3dpo...

Grrrr Sharon ( this morning lady) in news says she had 7 cycles of Ovid and spend 70k on it... fertility spell my arse.... ohhh well sometimes honesty from celebs would be nice x

Welcome blessedagain! Sorry to hear of your losses, this is such an emotional and stressful journey, but hopefully it wiln be worth it.

Monday - good luck with your next test! I think the already done tests are probably invalid, so still in with a chance!

Question... can you have ewcm with no ovulation?

Chatbash, are your OPK tests not showing anything?
I think the sticks are only positive at the point when there is an LH surge. So it could be that you just pre or post LH surge.
I would trust your body more than the sticks.
EWCM is a sure sign of ovulation or at least it tells you your body is primed for it to happen very soon.

EWCM is also a sign of pregnancy if your AF is due. #justsaying 😉

Funkypuzzle is it really? I had loads today, boobs so painful after the bra came off today and I am now 9/10 dpo. I can't crack tomorrow morning as we're away & I only have one test! Although still have a couple of opks.....
