Ladies, here's our 2nd summer thread :)

@CookieWaffle здравствуйте! I've also been using preseed. But haven't been lucky enough to fall pregnant naturally. Hence IUI every time. Having said if we TTC naturally longer than 5 months in 2016, maybe it would have happened?! But I got impatient, didn't want to see another BFN, and went for IUI in the 6th cycle. We started TTC#2 in January this year, I had a polyp removal and endometrial scratching in March , skipped a cycle and in May had our IUI. Sadly it ended in a missed miscarriage.

Ahh @Russkispy I can understand that. I think if we hadn't had a sniff of anything in 6 months I would be looking for further help too. Sorry to hear about the MC. xx

Morning ladies, I’ve started bleeding today 2.5 weeks on from my miscarriage .. Is this delayed miscarriage bleeding? Surely too early for AF to return?! Gutted because hubby and I are off to Crete for a week on Saturday and were hoping to get busy ttc! Whether this is mc or AF, I am obviously going to be in the wrong place in my cycle . Hey ho, maybe it’s best to wait for AF to return anyway so I can start tracking my cycles again. Would you all recommend OPK? I’ve never used them, I usually have a very regular 28 cycle and ttc days 9-14 has never failed me yet ;D I believe mc can alter your cycles though so I may not be able to rely on that method going forward!
@mellongoose I know exactly how you feel about your body playing mean tricks, I continued to have sore boobs, nausea, heightened sense of smell, fatigue and increased appetite for days after my mc .. You don’t mind the suffering when you’re actually pregnant but it’s just cruel when there’s no baby inside. Big hugs xx

Hi Raffey, you say bleedig has started 2.5 weeks after mc. Do you mean 2.5 weeks after mc started? How long did the bleeding last afterwards? Or do you mean 2.5 weeks after mc finished? If you mean after it finished then that's probably about right, as you may have ovulated once bleeding stopped.

I bled for about 3 or 4 weeks, then ovulated around the time bleeding was light brown and fading off, meaning 1st af came nearly 2 weeks after that, so would have been around 5 or 6 weeks after mc started if I remember rightly. Cycles went back to normal after that.

I use opk's, they are mostly reliable, although I sometimes miss the 'peak', I rely on watching them get darker. I also temped for a while, as you see the confirmation rise after ov has happened, although I found that quite stressful as it didn't always do what I expected! Just ordered an ava bracelet instead.

I am full on research mode into IVF, difficult throughout working day and I am now self guilting myself into not moving quicker.

So looks like I've had another CP, 2 in 2 months. God this TTC is hard. I have a scan on 28th but I think I know its over already.

Spotted opk's in a cheap shop so thought I'd see what happens with them - not quite as dark test line just now and am cd14 so hopeful tomorrow will be better but did manage dtd last night and hopeful tomorrow or Sat too so timing could be bang on. Fx.

@Chatbash72 had slight bleed yesterday, looked just like what I expected implantation to be. Now I have period like bleeding and strong cramps. Been to doc, I have a scan in 2 weeks but I'm not hopeful. Feels just like a normal period.

@cleozeta sorry yes my bleeding has started 2.5 weeks after my miscarriage started. To be honest I couldn’t tell you the date I actually miscarried because all I had was a seven day period-like bleed commencing on 30/07/18 - I had no pain and to my knowledge didn’t actually pass anything .. As miscarriages go, I got off very lightly I believe! I’m thinking this is ongoing miscarriage, I’ve read it can’t be af unless you’ve had at least a three week clear period of no bleeding since mc ><
I’ll see if my cycles return to normal after af, if not I think I’ll get some opk’s as I don’t want to miss any chances! Hubby works away during the week which doesn’t help, he’s often not around at optimum ttc time grrrr!
@CookieWaffle oh no has the bleeding got heavier/darker? It could be nothing, I was obsessively Googling 'bleeding in early pregnancy' a few weeks ago and there are so many other things that could be causing it (implantation, cervical abrasion, subchorionic haematoma etc.) - fingers crossed it's nothing serious! x

Raffey - how far along were you when you mc?
I think the 3 week thing isn't quite right, as I had definite AF 2 weeks after bleeding stopped, as I ovulated at the end of the brown bleed (confirmed at scan).
Have you taken a hpt to confirm mc is complete?

hey Cookie, me too. It's rough isn't it. I've had really light bleeding today - hardly anything but then I did another test to check and the line had faded right away. So think it's a cp for me too. Much love. xx

Mellon.. Sorry AF got you in the end. I was wondering whether you were going thru what i did with DS when i didn't realise i was preg for 12 weeks!!
User/Eloisa.. I do remember you! Wow..huge congrats! I'm 46 and it gives me hope. I'm currently expecting AF in 4 days and sure she'll strike. I'm at the point of giving up but when i hear about such amazing stories as yours i think i'll give it a bit longer!

So sorry to hear your news Cookie and Eloisa, I know that crushing feeling of seeing the hpt line getting fainter - it's soul destroying .
@cleozeta I started bleeding at 5 weeks exactly so pretty early on, if I hadn't got my bfp at 13dpo I'd have just thought my period was late! That'll teach me for testing too early >< xx
