Too early for a September bus?

I've (intentionally) missed out on an August BFP due to planned holidays but I'm crossing my fingers for a 7th September BFP/AF! Not sure if there's a September thread already?

Getting my coil taken out this coming weekend and really hoping I'm one of the lucky ones whose cycle goes straight back to normal! I haven't had a period for years but have been tracking my bbt for the past month.

@muddypuddlejumping I've read that every other day is best if sperm count is an issue otherwise every day is fine.

I can't reliably get excited about it every day but if DH wanted to then I would. We've done pretty much every other day but had a break over my ovulation due to being really busy [facepalm]. No bfp yet so my info probably isn't that helpful!

@KinCat oh I wouldn't normally be able to either but the relaxing on holiday definitely helps. Life just gets in the way though normally. I'm feeling pretty relaxed about it this month but I know as soon as I've ovulated (which should be Friday) I'll be all over the symptom spotting!

Haha I get you, I'm literally 1dpo and have a headache and nausea and no matter how irrational it is I've caught myself thinking maybe I'm pregnant! This is only cycle one as well. Ridiculous.

@KinCat @Malichick I'm with you there 😂 I'm so up and down. I've set myself up to not be so disappointed if I get a BFN BUT i have so many pregnancy symptoms that it must have caught 😂 such a struggle

@muddypuddlejumping I lost count of how many different sources I read about how often DTD should happen. More of them say every day. When I get peak/solid smiley, we're going for every day, before that every other day.

I'm starting my TWW. Looks like the temp rose up today a bit.

@KatBeCool I'm not using anything to track atm other than an app which has been fairly accurate for the last few months so I'm predicting ovulation on Friday. Going to just try regularly until then, I guess.
When do you predict you'll ovulate?

@muddypuddlejumping I already O-d yesterday. Got a temp dip and a positive OPK the day before. And got a temp rise today. Some I'm at 1 DPO.

I’m symptom spotting like a mad woman! I’ve got cramping that feels like my period is on its way the last two days I’ve had nausea that’s got worse as the day has gone on I had this with my first but seems to early so guessing a bug! But hoping the cramping is implantation which would mean I’m 5dpo

@PeanutButterJellyTime2 There's gotta be a pharmacy somewhere! Sometimes the hotels will have the pg test at the gift shop.

On CD8 and getting what I think are ovulation cramps. I had similar last month just before my BBT rise. Husband is out tonight so text him to say if fancied DTD when he got in... he replied to say that the text came through just as he was showing someone something on this phone... whoops! 🙈

What’s the best app to use to track cycles?
I’d rather not temp straight away as I have a feeling it might turn me into a mad woman, but I think keeping an eye on cycle would be wise!

Finally a static smiley but DH is stuck in the office. I've told him to try and get Home asap but I'm pretty sure he's not going to be in the mood plus I have a horrible cold so not sure I'd want to either! 🤒 I am relieved that it looks like I am ovulating though. I had such a weird and short cycle last month with no static smiley so at least things seem to be functioning a bit better.

@Jxtina86 haha how funny. I sent my DH a photo of my static smiley with the clear blue writing and a message he need to get home for s@x, thankfully no one saw.

@Newbie21 I've got a cold too - typical or what?! Husband has also sprained his wrist - the odds are against us for sure!

AF due 6 September. Now coming up to fertile week. Tried SMEP last month along with opks, conceive plus, vitamins and grapefruit juice. Spent week before AF convinced I was pg after a dodgy Tesco blue dye evap and a load of faint frers which actually turned out to just be the indent line

I text DH a pic of my static smily last month along with an aubergine emoji (classy) and he thought it was a positive pregnancy test! He said I didn't realise it would show up so quickly (we'd only DTD the day before). Bless him.

@charliedontsurf Evaps are so disappointing aren't they?? I had two, with colour in, a couple days apart and my boyfriend and j really thought I was pregnant.
