@Wellthisunexpected i have missed two donations due to being pregnant/post mc or tww. Its a pain but couldnt do even if if i wanted.

Boboelephant · 24/05/2018 07:43

@Wellthisunexpected ah well then if you think you can see a line I'd skip it. You can always donate again in a week or so if you are not and if you are then at least you've been safe.

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 08:26

There's definitely something there this morning so I'm off to buy a frer. If that's negative then I'll give blood.

HidCat · 24/05/2018 08:28

@Wellthisunexpected good luck!

SerenaOverjoyed · 24/05/2018 08:36

Boboelephant Thanks for the solidarity. How are you feeling in your new cycle?

YellowDaffodils86 Totally agree I'd rather AF than another failing pregnancy. I still feel really fragile emotionally after miscarrying in April and don't know how I'll respond to another one. It's really shit. In a weird way it's containing to know someone else is with me in limbo!

L1zz13 How are you feeling today? Sounds like you had a scary evening x

Wellthisisunexpected I'm uncertain what I see, but I think usually when we think we see a line there's a line, providing it came up in reasonable time. A BFN is unmistakeable. Good luck retesting Smile

SerenaOverjoyed · 24/05/2018 08:43

Can I ask an opinion?

Tomorrow we're visiting old friends for the weekend, and they're the sort of friends who we see twice a year (distance) and stay up to the early hours catching up and drinking too much wine. Am I right in thinking it's reasonable to drink, providing I'm still getting bfns? I won't get drunk but a few glasses would be nice

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 08:52

Serena drink til it's pink!

RedRobin7 · 24/05/2018 08:59

@SerenaOverjoyed I think it's okay if you're just having a couple. I'm on holiday and I've been driving myself mad with worry that I could be pregnant (even though we didn't actively try this month). I have been drinking but just one or two drinks. Thinking about it though, some people are unaware they're pregnant for months and continue drinking and everything works out okay. I'm sure a few drinks will be fine!

My period is due today so I tested this morning and got a BFN. Going to get very drunk tonight now - I knew it was just my paranoia this month!

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 09:04

Red so hard isn't it! 'just relax' they say. So much easier said than done.

Before DS I had a hen weekend, so did a test before it which was negative. Got absolutely wasted on the hen do. I became suspicious when my hangover lasted 3 days, did another and that was DS!

PassTheAfterEights · 24/05/2018 09:20

Hey @boboelephant thanks for the heads up! How are you?

8dpo here, using Clearblue Digital OPK (freebies from the trial) for the first time. They're fun, started today with a blank circle. Love having a few more sticks to pee on..!

Will have a proper read through & catch up asap, hope everyone's well x

RedRobin7 · 24/05/2018 09:21

@Wellthisunexpected Yes it is! We had sex outside of my FW so I wasn't expecting anything but was getting paranoid just in case. My body has changed since the MC so I'm still getting used to feeling different and not knowing exactly what's going on.

Tonight is my last drinking session and then back to being healthy and gym sessions before TTC in two weeks time. It'll be the first TTC cycle since the MC. So nervous!

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 09:36

There's definitely a line on this one.

@SerenaOverjoyed I'm ok thanks. I'm in the chill stage as af has finished and it's too early to start using opks so not too much to stress about. I'm sure the crazy hope usually then followed by the crazy disappointment will start next week. As for drinking I say go for it. You can't do any damage even if you are pregnant if you're not getting a bfp on a test yet. The baby doesn't grow a placenta until about 1-2 weeks after your hcg rises so you'll be fine.
@PassTheAfterEights hello! waves frantically let's hope this is our month. I'm cd7.
@Wellthisunexpected that is a line. Congratulations!!

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 10:39

Thanks @Boboelephant. I don't quite believe it. Really only tested due to giving blood. Was convinced we hadn't timed it right this month. I'm now so bloody nervous! The next 12 weeks are going to be torturous.

YellowDaffodils86 · 24/05/2018 12:26

@Wellthisunexpected wow, congrats!
@SerenaOverjoyed drink away!
Any AF yet? Mine is still nowhere to be seen!

Boboelephant · 24/05/2018 13:07

@Wellthisunexpected hopefully it goes well for you. 🤞
@YellowDaffodils86 I can't believe you're still waiting! What are you now- 19dpo? Have you taken another test?

hayleyfx · 24/05/2018 13:31

9dpo here, I caved and used an internet cheapie test this morning - bfn. I know that doesn’t mean I’m out but I’m pretty sure I am. I always get positives at 8/9dpo so I think there would be something there by now. I’ll post a photo of it anyway but yeah, definitely wasn’t feeling great this morning. Luckily it’s a lovely sunny day so that’s cheered me up a bit!!

@Wellthisisunexpected congrats!! Fingers crossed for a very sticky bean! 🤞
@YellowDaffodils86 ooh have you tested again? 🤞
@RedRobin7 sorry for the bfn 😔

@hayleyfx I see a shadow on the second one, could be the start of something?

I testing using a frer today, though I saw a line so took it apart to get a better look (I know it invalidates it) and looks like an evap/indent so will test again on Sunday

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 14:07

@hayleyfx are you sure that's negative? I can see something on the second photo.

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 14:09

@Daisymay25 I see what you mean fingers crossed for you. How do are you?

DaisyMay25 · 24/05/2018 14:09

@Wellthisunexpected I'm 11dpo been having light cramps all day though which is annoying! Congrats on yours! You gonna be testing again in a couple of days?

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 14:34

@DaisyMay25 yes probably, I'll do the other frer Saturday then a digital Sunday.

I'm just so scared of it all going wrong again. Don't think I'll settle until I can feel it moving.

HidCat · 24/05/2018 15:37

I've had a lot of pelvic cramps throughout this cycle (C2 after Mc), has anyone else had that? It's got worse around FW but not been strong enough for painkillers.

This year has been a bloody nightmare. In work it's been one thing after another with the Managers (my MC, another's Father passed away, one signed off with stress and another's Step Mother diagnosed with cancer) and now my Mum has been diagnosed with a Pre-Cancerous tumour! Not turned yet but looking dodgy. Taking her for scans next week. Every couple of weeks there's another bit of bad news! Eeurgh, where's the Vodka?

Wellthisunexpected · 24/05/2018 16:02

@HidCat, that does sound like a difficult time, particularly for you. Not going to help the stress levels!

YellowDaffodils86 · 24/05/2018 16:40

@hayleyfx
@Boboelephant
I havnt tested since Tuesday morning.
Im 18dpo although ad i dont chart and didnt do any opks after my first pos, I wonder of i could possibly be 2dpo behind what i think.
Iv no idea, could be grasping at straws.
