Hello everyone how are you all?

@cakelaur good luck for your scan today and @hayleyfx good luck for your first midwife appointment today

@HidCat sorry for the BFN, its so heartbreaking seeing that stark white isn't it

Hoping you're looking forward to your wedding @lovemysparkle and not getting too stressed about the prep!

@boboelephant in awe of your JKS-athon, really hoping this is your month!

@Mistymeow sorry to hear you're having a confusing time. My temps have been a bit all over the place since my second loss too. Perhaps it is just cycles settling back to normal? I guess ovulating earlier or later than expected is probably quite common post-MC.

Sorry to anyone I've missed off! My positive streak has had a bit of a blip, been feeling quite sad the past few days. Not sure if secretly I was hoping this was our month even though it was unlikely due to timings of JKS not being right. I think its just hit me that we've been TTC for almost 9 months now and if we had fallen pregnant first time round I would be due any day now Sad

Laney79 · 06/06/2018 12:09

Trying to catch up but finding it difficult whilst I'm on my jollies!

@Cakelaur I have everything crossed for you at your scan-would love to see a pic!

@littleemma1 we did the same-just stopped trying not to and let it happen-but after the MMC, and my age I'm doing opks.

Good news from my end-finally pain and bleeding has stopped! So I'm taking last Tuesday as the start of AF-so I'm assuming that's cycle day 1? Have got opks with me, and dtd for the first time in 4 months yesterday which was bloomin fab! So hoping my holiday relaxation and lots of BD-ing will help us catch quickly. Not heading back till 14th so I'm guessing we'll be here when I ovulate?

Sorry not to respond to all-but sending hugs from sunny Kos!

Enjoy your holiday laney!

HidCat · 06/06/2018 12:36

@Laney79 I'm so glad you're doing well! Have a fantastic holiday!

DaisyMay25 · 06/06/2018 12:50

So sorry @hayleyfx I appear to have completely ignored that it's your first midwife appointment today! Good luck! Hopefully all goes well!

Mistymeow · 06/06/2018 12:51

Thanks @strawberrye it just seems endless. I thought everything had gone back to normal too. Just needs more time. Hard to be patient when you want a baby so much. Sorry you are feeling sad but I definitely hear you. We had been ttc for 18 months and it was a miracle to conceive naturally (due to DH's low sperm count) and for it to end in a mmc was so heartbreaking. I often feel sad, but there is hope for us all x

@Laney79 have a lovely holiday, you deserve a nice rest and really glad the bleeding has finally stopped.

Sorry that I always miss people off, I get confused with all the names! Sendng love as ever x

RedRobin7 · 06/06/2018 13:02

Hi @KnitKitty sorry for the late reply! Holiday is good thanks but haven't seen the sun for a few days 🙄 It's coming back out this afternoon and should be out for the rest of our trip! A holiday isn't a holiday without sunshine!

Pleased to hear you're trying to be positive and focus on trying again. I know it's so so hard to be positive when it feels like everything is going wrong but you will get there - we all will! Keeping everything crossed for you for this next cycle.

@Laney79 So glad the bleeding has stopped. You can start to feel more normal now. Hope you manage to catch ovulation on your holiday! Fingers crossed for you too 😊

@Boboelephant I'm still trying to process how you managed 12/12! Your DH definitely deserves a MN medal. I don't think I've ever managed more than 3 times in a row lol.

Sorry I've missed loads of you out. Just a quick post today as need to get ready for the day ahead. Also wanted to wish good luck to the pregnant ladies with your scans and appointments. Fingers crossed to those of you in the TWW and FW too!

Quick update on me - my CB digital has been flashing since Sunday morning. I've been doing IC twice a day but I find sometimes it doesn't pick anything up - even the FMU on Monday didn't show anything although the Sunday morning one did. There was a line yesterday morning but nothing in the evening, even though I'd held my wee in for hours. The line today is still faint but the darkest so far. I'm thinking maybe I will ovulate today or tomorrow. I wish it was more obvious when it will happen exactly! DH is still complaining about the pressure but we have DTD. I'm worried it's been too early to count so will try again with him tonight and tomorrow... it's his bday on Friday so I'll have to go with whatever he wants, can't fall out with him on his bday! Not feeling at all confident that this is our month. If he just worked with me this week there would be a higher possibility he can relax for a while!

hayleyfx · 06/06/2018 13:19

@DaisyMay25 no worries, don’t need to say sorry😊 thank you, I hope you’re doing alright, enjoy the JKS haha!

@KnitKitty @strawberrye thank you ladies! 💕

Pancakes7 · 06/06/2018 13:43

Feeling positive today. Finally feeling a bit more myself. @Boboelephant dh had a few drinks which convinced him! Lol I was so sleepy but thought strike while I can! I am hoping we get lucky and conceive without an af but I know realistically this probably won't happen. Just booked a theatre and dinner voucher we had for July. Good to have things to look forward to, keep us occupied. @Cakelaur Good luck for scan today.

Pancakes7 · 06/06/2018 13:51

@littleemma1 I was relaxed before too. I did use app Flo to track but I only had 1 af. Only stopped pill start of Feb and conceived early March. I just hope its as easy this time round! Also same here. I won't tell dh when I ovulate I'll just go for it.

RedRobin7 · 06/06/2018 13:56

I've attached a pic of my IC - what do you reckon, ovulate tomorrow maybe? Or possibly still more than a day away?

@Pancakes7 It's good to book things to look forward to. We booked this holiday we're on on the day of my surgery. We have one more thing booked to look forward to and that's a stay in a London hotel with a nice view in August. DH doesn't know about it yet - it's his bday present. In my head I've already worked out that I could be 12 weeks by then if we manage to conceive this week. Really not healthy to play that game but then I could also be 8 or 4 weeks if we try again in July or August... again still not healthy to overthink it all! 🙈

All safe and sound. With a little persuasion bub moved for us. It was genuinely the most amazing sight!! Best day of my life. Official due date is 17th December.

I hope this post only brings hope to others. If this feels like I'm rubbing salt in sore wounds I'm so so sorry.

TedLife · 06/06/2018 14:33

Hey ladies,

New to this as last time i was pregnant it just 'happened'! Did a cheapie OPK today and got a very faint line but i'm only on CD6 - this feels very early to start seeing anything on them - anyone have any advice? Feeling very nervous about TTC this month and want to get it right!

RedRobin7 · 06/06/2018 14:37

@Cakelaur Congratulations!! So pleased for you that everything went well at the scan.

It's not rubbing salt in the wound for me. Although I found out about my MMC at my 12 week scan, your post brings me hope that some day I might just have a successful one!

@TedLife What were your cycles like before? I've had a random 23 day cycle before and that's caught me out. So I always start tracking as soon as my period has finished.

TedLife · 06/06/2018 14:44

@RedRobin7 they were always super predictable, 29 days exactly. Flo was always completely accurate with when my period was due (why I knew something was up when i was late last time!). I've never tracked ovulation before but we dtd a few days after Flo predicted ovulation last time which I thought was strange so maybe i ovulate later than the average 14 day time. That's why having a faint line on an OPK today felt a bit weird at cd6. Maybe I just need to keep testing?

MrsGS76 · 06/06/2018 14:51

@Cakelaur wow super congested, fx for you all the way! Bet you are Looking forward to a fabulous Christmas with one more place setting...,
@TedLife I would personally recommend doing the test more than once a day to see if you get more faith t lines, if so JKS!!

And FYI ladies discussing white knickers (for looking out for CM and implantation bleeding ) M&S have 100% white cotton knickers, in a 4 pack for £5! All different styles, Bargain!! And there is a definite need for 100% cotton with this hot weather... x

HidCat · 06/06/2018 15:05

@Cakelaur I'm so pleased for you! You must be bouncing off the walls! Congratulations!

@TedLife when in doubt Just Keep Shagging!

Mistymeow · 06/06/2018 15:17

@Cakelaur congratulations! Not rubbing salt into wounds at all- it's so nice to hear that there are success stories after such heartache, and it gives me hope that it will be me one day.

@TedLife I understand the nerves as I'm doing everything this month too. I have shorter cycles (24/25 days) so I was also getting a faint line on cd7 and got a strong positive cd10 and cd11. I would keep testing every day :)

@MrsGS76 thanks for the tip, I need new knickers!

Lilimum4 · 06/06/2018 15:46

@Cakelaur wow I'm so happy for you. Hope the rest of us will be joining you soon

littleemma1 · 06/06/2018 15:46

@Cakelaur congratulations :) it brought a tear to my eye, but a happy tear of hope! ❤️

@Laney79 so jealous but I’ll be sure to send pics from my honeymoon in 5 weeks time 😜

KnitKitty · 06/06/2018 16:32

Sorry you're not having a good day littleemma1. It's still early days, just ride the waves. You'll feel better again. Did you stay at work in the end? It makes such a difference when you have supportive colleagues!

Hugs strawberrye. Let yourself have a wallow for a day, sometimes you just need to feel it; you'll get back to feeling positive again. xxx

Laney79 That's FANTASTIC news!!! Enjoy the JKS now you can get back to it! Looks like you're having a lovely holiday, it should do you the world of good, and who knows, maybe being relaxed will do the trick! Fingers crossed for you TTC again (at last!).

RedRobin7 I'm glad the sunshine has come out for the rest of your holiday. Try to just relax and enjoy it and JKS!

Cakelaur so glad everything is going well! You can see a proper little person in there! It's amazing!!! I keep going back to have another look at the scan. Using it for my visualisation of it happening for me too, so thank you. Congratulations again. I'm so, so happy for you!

Thanks for the tip off MrsGS76. White knickers for all! haha

So I know a few of you have mentioned your periods being very different since MC... Mine is acting very oddly for me. I'm having my second AF since MMC. The first one seemed pretty normal to be honest. It started off slowly, got heavier in the middle and then petered out again, lasted 8-9 days (this is normal for me, think the fewest days I've ever bled was 6) and was a pretty constant flow from start to finish.
This one however, I had one gush of bleeding on Saturday, practically nothing on Sunday bar some brown spotting, then heavy bleeding on Monday and Tuesday followed by today where I had a small amount in the morning and been dry as a bone ever since. Wondering if the bleeding is so different because of CP, but I'm wondering if it's just my body doing strange things after MC like others have experienced.
I'm going to test again once I'm sure the bleeding has completely stopped to make sure it's a BFN. I need to see it with my own eyes. I've not actually seen a BFN since starting TTC; I had an abundance of faint positives after MC. It was hospital who finally confirmed negative a week before my first AF, but I never saw that test.

L1zz13 · 06/06/2018 16:34

Husband does not want to have to endure the heartache and stress mc ever again!
Glad we got that cleared up! ☹️
Time to start the grieving process all over again!

Lilimum4 · 06/06/2018 16:41

@L1zz13 I'm sorry to hear this. Maybe he just needs a break. Big hug to you

DaisyMay25 · 06/06/2018 16:51

@Cakelaur how lovely!! Not salt in the wound for me, I asked for it! Haha. You gonna find out the sex? At least you don't need to buy OH a Christmas present this year though!

@L1zz13 I'm sorry he feels like that. Is he wanting to put TTC on hold for a bit?

HidCat · 06/06/2018 16:57

@L1zz13 At least he's talking about it, I don't think any of us want to go through it again, but it's a risk we take. I hope you're ok.
