I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

@Mammyofasuperbaby a supportive GP makes such a difference

Hi everyone, I haven't been on this thread for ages. So nice to drop in and see some good news for some of us. Congratulations to those with BFPs and good luck with the IVF, CatRen - how exciting! I'm on day 35 with no sign of AF and desperately trying not to test. This is a long cycle for me, but not absurdly long and I refuse to get my hopes up...

Nothing to see here. No AF and I'm on CD37. I cracked yesterday and took a test - negative

@lithops not over till it's over! This seems like the longest week EVER

Do you think not, @LethargicButAwesome ? Surely a test would be positive by CD36? I do wish AF would turn up now so I could ditch the vain hope 😒

Ah crap lithops, no one likes seeing bfns! But you could have ovulated really late do so knows how many dpo you are at cd36!

Has anyone ever had this? - I had my peak opk yesterday, but my temp had already started rising 🤷🏼‍♀️ I take my tests first thing, so worried my actual ovulation happened super quick after a long fertile window and we BD too late! Or it's an anovulatory cycle 😕

@pufdinn I admire your resilience and commitment to temping I just don't remember to do it :/ so cannot shed any light....

Lit hops is this a longer than usual cycle? Do you know when you ovulated ?

Hey @pudding01 it looks like you ovulated on cd14, the big dip. It won't come up with crosshairs though until 3 temp increases so might appear tomorrow? Looks like you timed your dtd perfectly! Fx it's your month!

My update is that we ended up with 10 frozen blastocysts ready for transfer, but might have to wait for next cycle to transfer one as the genetic testing results might not be back in time. Crap! Im sooooo impatient!

@catren try and relax it's all out of your hands now, there is a process in place and use these couple of months to wind down- it's been a long ttc journey but you have a plan ahead of you :)

Well another dead end. My bloods were all perfect and they can't see a reason as to why I'm not conceiving. Lh and FSH are within normal ranges s I don't understand why I'm not ovulating or having regular periods. Plus if I want more tests I have to see another person who only works Mondays and there are no appointments for months. I feel defeated

@mammy don't be deflated, if anything it's probably a good thing at least it's not a 'no' or there is not something preventing you from conceiving. I know it can be annoying as atleast of it was a deficient you could get it fixed, have you had iron and thyroid checked, it was thyroid for me last time.

I have two days to check, dunno why but am excited his month - I feel the pressure is on tho, husband said to me the other day 'oh four days two check' I usually like to kee it discrete and don't share, but with him tracking with me it becomes way too real.

@mammy i also have completely unexplained secondary infertility. Our test results are A star. It's annoying in a way as nothing to fix. But means it can and should happen. Sorry you're disappointed though lovely xx

Hi LethargicButAwesome, the answer is.... it was neither . I'm day 44 now, no sign of AF and two BFNs. I have a prolactinoma which is controlled with medication so I can only assume I have not been taking it regularly enough. I've never had this before though! How about you, have you done a test?

That sucks @Lithops. Hope you get an answer one way or the other soon.

@lithops that sucks, does sit effect fertility? I've had two BFN about to move to day 34 and no sign of AF, I used to have irregular cycles ranging from 37- 45 days but after Dc it was 4 weeks and 2 days the most regular I hve been ever, so don't know what happened this time around....I'm secretly still hoping it's a BFP but not holding my breathe as it doesn't feel like one. When we started trying in March I always thought September was going to be the month, dunno why but was drawn to it, Strange it's the month my cycles chose to be random.

@mammy wow that's a long cycle, poor you - why so long? You said all tests were fine/normal? Couldn't you take clomid to force ovulation? How do you know when you are ovulating ?
