Anyone due AF next week & want to join the final countdown?!

Hi ladies.
This was the first month not tracking after trying for 8 months and getting nowhere.
My last 3 cycles lasted 28, 29 and 32 days, but think the last one may have been a CP.
No idea which date I actually ovulated, but felt cramping on and off since early last week and I'm due AF any time from Monday.

Think I'm going to do a test at the weekend, because I can't just sit and wait! Praying it's a BFP

@sprinkleofsunshine glad you got things checked out and got some answers. My friend gets a lot of utis and she takes cranberry supplements that helps keep them at bay.

All sounds good @sprinkleofsunshine re getting the right meds for ttc. I was hospitalised for a kidney infection a few years ago so am now suspectible to utis, fyi you can get a sets of 50 home tests for about £8 online if you ever want or need to check again, they're pretty accurate. Re your earlier question re cp (chemical pregnancy) there's no real way to tell except for if you're unexpectedly late and heavy, apparently up to 50% conceptions end in cp so they're really common but most people aren't even aware they're pg because they mistake the early mc for a normal period. I think I may have had one too as I was 5 days late which is v unusual for me and v heavy with clots too, and had started getting some pg symptoms. I had one my first ttc month with ds #1 too. Thanks @Murphyrocks that's really interesting to know about those tests if I suspect one again I may get some. It's also I interesting to hear about the kidney infection as I had one previously also around the time that I had a m/c previously although that was a good few years ago. Mine was weird too but I'm questioning if it was a cp or if it was messed up because of this uti- I did not know the stats were so high on cp's.

No I didn't realise either @sprinkleofsunshine, obviously it's difficult to estimate as so many people don't know they've had one but estimates go up to 50%. Yes uti couldn't affected af too its true. Hopefully have better luck next month once uti has gone. How long have you been ttc? Is it your first?

Yes this is ttc #1 and it's only the second cycle. I suppose if it was a cop atleast there is hope for me and dh to catch but as I m/c with previous partner (caught on pill by accident) I do worry that there is something wrong with my carrying which is ridiculous given how common m/c are I know.

Annoyingly the new tablets are for a weeks course instead of 3 days which means they finish the day before dh goes away and that's 4 days before o according to app and dh is back day after o day so I'm not holding out too much hope for June

I might be out before we've even started @sprinkleofsunshine DH is sick! Fertile week starts tomorrow and am due to ovulate between Sunday and Tuesday. I wasn't going to see him much in that time anyway but he's in no fit state to do much at all. How are you feeling today?

Aw no I'm not holding out much hope either but it's rubbish thinking you're out before you've even began. I'm ok thanks for asking. Taking the tablets so hopefully they kick in soon!

How are you doing @sprinkleofsunshine? Hope you're starting to feel better. I'm not sure what's going on but have done opks the last couple of days and not even getting a faint line. Last month on cd10 I had strong not quite positive lines. No promising cm either. Might work in our favour if ovulation is delayed as dh is still sick so not up for much at the moment.

Thanks for asking @VenusStarr I'm not too bad. Don't feel unwell but still getting some discomfort on and off, on day 3 of the antibiotics so hopefully will see an improvement next few days. No idea what will happen with cycle this month. I'm seeing baby's everywhere though which isn't helping

How are you both @VenusStarr & @Murphyrocks? When is o time this month? Today is the first day I haven't felt any pain/discomfort so I'm hoping the antibiotics have finally started working. On them until Wednesday, I'm not going to chance dtd before then and dh goes away Thursday which is apparently o day so probably quite unlikely this month but I think after last I could maybe do with a little break and not be so consumed during the tww!

Good to hear you're feeling better @sprinkleofsunshine, I'm good thanks, back from holiday yesterday and back to work tomorrow! AF has just left the building so I'll be starting on lh tests in another week or so as my o day is usually around day 21. Be good to kit if anyone else from the thread is trying again next month, stop me going insane during the 2ww!

Hey @sprinkleofsunshine thanks for asking, I'm OK, feeling a bit flat this weekend. Dh is still sick so no chance of dtd. I've been having quite painful cramps so think I'm gearing up to ovulate. Opks are getting darker too. My temperatures are weird though, had a dip at day 8 and they've been getting higher each day. Be interesting to see what tomorrow's is, as if due to O I think it should go down then back up. Interestingly I've had no ewcm at all. I think I'm calling myself out though. Might be nice to not think about it. I'll track temps for another few days then stop.

How is everyone? I'm feeling rubbish today. My temperature is still going up so think this cycle is annovulatary. I'm cd12 and had already ovulated this time last month. My temperature just keeps increasing. Any bbt experts on here? I've attached my chart. It's doing my head in. I know the reality is I just have to wait and see. But it's hard :( I just want to know my body is working as it should. Hope you guys are OK @sprinkleofsunshine and @Murphyrocks and everyone else!

@VenusStarr I don't track temps but I know what you mean about wanting to know your body is working. Maybe it's late o and would fit perfectly with your dh Getting better how is he now?

Since yesterday I have been having some very mild cramping like before af which is very unusual for me mid cycle but thinking I'm prob gearing up to o on the weekend according go my app. Tablets end wed, going to dtd that night before dh goes away and then again Sunday when he is back and for a few days after. Not holding out much hope which will hopefully mean I'm not so crazy this tww!!

I feel like I've gone totally crazy this month @sprinkleofsunshine! Maybe I've got your dose of crazy as well as mine! Your timing for dtd sounds good, I think. Good to take the pressure off too. Dh is still poorly and working double shifts now so even if he was better I'm not seeing him much. I'm wondering if the acupuncture has had an impact on O. At least my cycle is short so in less than 2 weeks I'll be onto the next cycle. Silver linings and all that ;)

Hi everyone! Thought I'd jump in. First pregnancy sadly ended in a MMC in April. Got first AF on May 9th. Pretty sure I ovulated on the 23rd. AF is due to rear her ugly head either tomorrow or Wednesday (depending on what app I use ), but I'm still getting BFNs... any chance of a BFP or am I out this month? I have been feeling nauseous but I dunno if that's my body playing tricks on me....

@VenusStarr had a look at your chart, do you often have anovulatory cycles? If not your temp still seems pretty low so might just be normal variation? My cover line is around 36.4 so anything below that is normal before o. Do you have a cover line as can't see one on your chart? Keep us in the loop. Sounds like there might still be a chance for you too @sprinkleofsunshine. My oh has just been put on beta blockers which aren't great for fertility, so I'm not feeling that optimistic either :(

Thanks for looking at my chart @Murphyrocks. I don't think I've had annovulatory cycles, I'm generally regular albeit short cycles. I checked last month (first month temping) and my covering temperature was 36.28. It peaked at 36.57 after ovulation last month. This morning my temperature was 36.24 but I haven't ovulated yet. It's giving me a headache :( I know I just need to wait and see but it's hard! Sorry to hear about your oh betablockers, hope he's OK.

Thanks @VenusStarr, if you're doing daily lh tests and still haven't had a positive I'd do a best guess that you're yet to ovulate, but as you say it's a bit of a waiting game. I use naturalcycles for contraception so been charting for over a year now so pretty comfortable with my cycle but it still confuses me sometimes so you're not alone!

Welcome @CobaltRose, fx for you! Sounds like you're still in, sometimes hcg tests can show positive early but I didn't get my bfp until the day I skipped af with ds1 so don't lose hope!

Think I missed my positive again @Murphyrocks, think my surge is really quick as I missed it last month too. Opk negative earlier this evening. I'll keep my eye on my temperature and see if I do actually ovulate in the next day or so. I do think I'm making ttc more stressful than it should be, need to try and relax!

Yeah I have the same problem @VenusStarr, have to take lh tests twice a day and still sometimes miss it which is why I chart too! Everyone says to relax but it's not that easy - once we decide to conceive we want it NOW right?! I'm not that patient!
