Just changed my username btw xx

Delilah7 · 22/05/2018 07:22

@MrsLStone I've got that nesting in my head 😂😂. Aww congratulations on being an auntie. Just think she might have been going through the same journey you are xx

@MrsLStone yes I am absolutely nesting and not a thing happening so far. This morning I've been thinking about how I will tell my hubs when I find out (as in do I do something funny or just blurt it out) .... not even remotely do I think I'm pregnant yet! Can't help but get excited though, and I think as long as we stay (or try to!) practical it's ok to enjoy this time :)

Congrats on being an aunty by the way, it's wonderful isn't it x x x

Delilah7 · 22/05/2018 10:03

I've got no idea how I'll tell my other half either when I am 😂 xx

This might sound nuts but it's his birthday next month and I've got it in my head that I'm gonna be able to tell him on his birthday. Which I know is completely silly to have my hopes up like that but you know, a girl can dream! Haha xx

Delilah7 · 22/05/2018 10:09

@sachabloom it's my dad's birthday Friday and I'm gonna take a test and hopefully I'll be able to say happy birthday grandad hahaha xxx

@sachabloom It’s so strange! Didn’t think this would happen at all (I’m not the most domesticated)

I’ve always wanted to tell my hubby in a unique way still haven’t come up with it yet lol!

Yeah, I am over the moon to be an auntie again! I kind of relate to my brother and sister in law now a bit better cos the journey they’ve been on is only just starting for me so we will see how it goes! Xxx

MrsLStone · 22/05/2018 10:12

@sachabloom fingers crossed for you hunny! Most awesome present! Xxx

sachabloom · 22/05/2018 10:41

@Delilah7 @MrsLStone you guys are so nice! I did think oh no they're gonna think I'm weird haha.

He's mentioned a couple of times how it would be the best birthday present and to be fair I don't feel pressure coz I know he understands it's not as easy at that but it would be lovely. We're going away and we're in the middle of no where just us two as well so it would be very cute. Although I'm sure wherever and however we tell them it'll be perfect for us all :)

@Delilah7 you're so good waiting until Friday to test, really hope you get the news you're hoping for xxx

Delilah7 · 22/05/2018 10:53

@sachabloom you're in the same boat as us. And I love bonding about this it's such a hard journey sometimes so I'm glad I have you guys to talk to. I hope I can give him the news! I am convincing myself I'm not however, getting abit down about it today xxx

@Delilah7 oh no, why? Xxx

Delilah7 · 22/05/2018 11:48

@sachabloom I feel I've got so many symptoms apart from missing a period yet that it is convincing me that I am when I'm actually not. :( just feeling abit down xxx

sachabloom · 22/05/2018 11:52

@Delilah7 keep your spirits up! I totally get that you don't wanna get excited and think it's a sure thing until you know, but you are allowed to be hopeful and positive until you are told otherwise.

Big hugs to you, and for what it's worth, I imagine I'd be feeling the same so I know it's easier said than done xxx

Delilah7 · 22/05/2018 11:54

@sachabloom I'm trying my hardest...just feel I'm now imagining all these things. Makes you more relieved when you actually are xxx

Don't think I can take it now till next week - completely lost track due to not being on the pill and where I am. When should I take it if my last period or withdrawal bleed was 5th may? X

OP posts:
byanyothernamerose · 22/05/2018 15:27

Delilah..I tested 3 weeks after the start of my last period, so my period started on the 25th of April and I tested on the 17th of May..the line I got was super faint but was there and has gotten stronger everyday..my period isn't due until this Friday I think and I am stressing a bit in case it is a chemical pregnancy..that is the problem with testing early!! I'm still glad I did though as it helps me understand all these symptoms!!

If you want you can still test this week?

Delilah7 · 22/05/2018 15:46

@byanyothernamerose I've spoken to a pharmacist and she thinks I should take a test... I want to now. Xx

@Delilah7 what have you decided lovely? X

Delilah7 · 22/05/2018 16:34

@sachabloom should I just take one!? Does it really matter when. Should I wait till morning. Xx

OP posts:
byanyothernamerose · 22/05/2018 16:51

Morning is definitely best...

sachabloom · 22/05/2018 17:24

@Delilah7 totally your call, I'd say wait until morning because you can be more sure - but I know how desperate you must be to know so no judgments lol xxx
