Fingers crossed Cookie!! 🤞

PixieLoo · 20/05/2018 11:02

Congratulations @byanyothernamerose! That certainly looks like a strong positive to me!!

TwinkleBear · 20/05/2018 13:53

Congratulations @byanyothernamerose !!! I know the feeling of not having any girlfriends around, I moved almost 3 years ago and still haven't really found any close friends outside of work. It's tough. But hopefully you'll make some friends from mummy groups once your little one arrives!!!

MrsLEgg · 20/05/2018 20:17

Hi, thought I'd pop on here! If people dont mind? TTC with bubba number one, only got my implant out a week ago so very early doors but wanted to see some journeys start.
Started an online blog because I wanted to clear my head of any worry or doubt but looks like I'm not alone with these thoughts!
Good luck to peeps trying! xxx

CookieWaffle · 20/05/2018 20:21

Ah well, AF arrived. Completely gutted, I thought for a moment it was happening. Just spoke to my mum who mentioned it took her 6 years to have me. I'll be too old by then! :( Just feeing completely sorry for myself now. Think I'll get DP to bring me some ice cream on his way home from work...

CookieWaffle · 20/05/2018 20:22

Hey and good luck to you @MrsLEgg! xx

LunaLG · 20/05/2018 20:30

Hey!

I'd love to join too. I'm at start of cycle 5. Feeling a bit down today because period arrived yesterday - 4 days early! (Def not implantation bleeding).

Feel like I need to up my game this month and monitor ovulation a little more closely. I'd do anything for a BFP this cycle 🤞🏼

Good luck everyone xx

Delilah7 · 20/05/2018 20:46

@CookieWaffle oh darling. I'm sorry :( don't give up, miracles happen xx

@MrsLEgg Welcome! :) we are all in the same boat so any worries or questions throw them at us!

@LunaLG hey Luna! Welcome. Do you use any tracker! I use Flo on my phone and seems good to me.

Ladies update on me and wanted abit of advice. My nipples are so sore. To the point if they catch on a towel it bothers me and I never normally feel them. Boobs look abit veiny and tummy defo feels abit different. Like bloated etc. Xxx

PixieLoo · 20/05/2018 21:43

I'm sorry @CookieWaffle but don't lose faith it will happen soon! Keep plodding in 😁

Welcome @MrsLEgg & @LunaLG!!

Ooh sounds like some early symptoms @Delilah7 - have you tested? And when is AF due?

Amcg22 · 20/05/2018 21:48

@CookieWaffle so sorry it didn’t happen this month. I think you deserve that ice cream.

@Delilah7 fingers cross this is a a good sign. Unfortunately since I began TTC, i’ve had terribly sore boobs before my period, which I never ever got. My mind is playing tricks on me. Hoping you get a BFP this time x

CookieWaffle · 20/05/2018 21:56

Thank you ladies xx

My ever-calm DH is all positive and ready to get back to it as soon as I am (I'm sure he's secretly happy to get it as often as he wants, hah!)

Same with me on the sore boobs, I've never had it before AF, but I swear they hurt more because I noticed them..

Delilah7 · 20/05/2018 21:59

I hope it is. Aunt Flo not due for another two weeks and haven't tested as way too soon :(

Amz60 · 20/05/2018 22:03

I’ve just changed my username from Amcg22 just in case anyone is confused.

AF due in 12 days for me, so at least we’ll be finding out at the same time and can support each other @Delilah7

Think I ovulated early this month so not sure how this one with turn out.

Delilah7 · 20/05/2018 22:27

@Amz60 wooohooo. Bring it on xx

OP posts:
Delilah7 · 20/05/2018 22:32

Think I'm due 28th for AF so when shall i test xxx

OP posts:
Amz60 · 20/05/2018 22:46

I think you could probably start testing on the 22nd, however I’d try and hold off as long as you can (easier said than done) x

Delilah7 · 21/05/2018 07:30

I'm abit scared these are just 'coming off the pill symptoms' x

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 21/05/2018 08:17

Ooooh my god!! Soooo much has happened since I've been working and couldn't get on... 🙌🏻

@byanyothernamerose.... Soooo pleased for you lovely! Massive congratulations... 😍🙌🏻👏🏻 Told yah this was the lucky 🍀BFP group 😜

@MrsLEgg & @LunaLG Glad to see your joining us on this amazing yet crazy journey! 😁 Sending lots of bubba dust your way... 🤞🏻

@CookieWaffle Aaaah I'm so sorry that AF arrived, it's easier said than done but we will all get there eventually and try not to pay too much attention to what your mum says... I know it's hard because we love advice from our mums and take it rather to heart majority of the time when it's things we wouldn't really want to hear (We'll I know I do 🤦🏻‍♀️😂) But I had an old friend who fell pregnant on the 5th cycle and the family couldn't believe it as it had taken her mum and her mums sister 3 years to conceive her and her cousins 🙌🏻🙏🏻 You've got this chick... ❤️

@Delilah7 ... Those sound like positive signs if your not used to them 🤞🏻😁 But I have to say when I came off my pill it was a nightmare... symptoms like sore boobs, backaches, bloating was crazy! But I'm hoping yours are because a little bean is working it's magic in there 😉 Glad you've got a testing buddy @Amz60!

I'm not due till the 9th, give or take 🤔 I think!! Is anyone else due around that time? Should hopefully be starting my fertile period soon.... But I've been doing OPK's for the last couple days and they've been super faint.... first month trying them... I'm assuming I want something as dark as the test line? 🤔🤦🏻‍♀️

CookieWaffle · 21/05/2018 08:28

Thanks @SunshineAndRainbows6 xx What my mum did say is that she thinks I arrived because she basically stopped stressing about it all. So I'm gonna try to chill out a but more this month!

Delilah7 · 21/05/2018 08:35

@SunshineAndRainbows6 Hi lovely! Well I have really big boobs so i know the difference between what are normal pains for me and what aren't. I normally just have like tender boobs during periods but I've never had actual sore nipples that if I touch them I kind of cringe. I just don't think it cool be though as I'm only 5dpo x

OP posts:
byanyothernamerose · 21/05/2018 08:36

Cookie...that is exactly what happened to my friend too, she stopped stressing and it happened. Fingers and toes crossed for you!!

Sunshine...thank you so much!! I can still hardly believe it...

Delilah...my symptoms started almost straight away..I told my husband last week that I felt pregnant but I couldn't explain why, then the nipple tenderness and nausea started...so I hope hope hope hope it is your time this month!!

I can't believe how nauseous I feel...I certainly did not expect this!!

Delilah7 · 21/05/2018 08:43

@byanyothernamerose did they really? I just feel different. You know from being a woman how you can feel different and I do. Feel tired. Get the I feel I'm gonna be sick moment, boobs for sure... I just feeeeeeeel so different! Xx

OP posts:
SunshineAndRainbows6 · 21/05/2018 08:58

@Cookiewaffle.... this plan sounds amazing! Think I need to take that approach too as I seem to stress all the time 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ We can be stress free together 😉💪🏻

@Delilah7 Eeeeek! That is really hopefully signs that, especially as you said, if you know what your boobs are usually like then you know if that makes sense 😍🤞🏻🍀 5DPO is early, but it isn't uncommon of people who have just 'known' like @byanyothernamerose said 😜🤞🏻 Keeping everything crossed for you Hun 😘

Delilah7 · 21/05/2018 09:01

@SunshineAndRainbows6 fingers crossed, but I'm doubting because it is so early! X

OP posts:
byanyothernamerose · 21/05/2018 09:05

Delilah...I tested 8 or 9 dpo and got a faint positive...I am far too impatient!! But I think the only reason I tested so early is because I knew I felt different...my period was 7 days late last month and I kept telling my husband that I wasn't pregnant because I just knew that I wasn't, but this month I felt like I knew straight away. I guess female intuition is strong?
