TTC First Baby! Anyone else?!

Hi Ladies.

Anyone else on their first cycle and TTCing?! I'm seeing all these beautiful posts about ladies getting pregnant and how they have bonded with people on here soooo, thought I'd make one at the start on my journey!

Hope everyone gets a BFP. Sending love to you all. I already know mine isn't. But I just like to hope lol xx

I went to see a different doctor that I've known for years. I explained my fears and she seemed to think it was safe enough to take (Sertraline), at least if I'm stressed about not being pregnant and this lowers my stress levels then in theory this should help.

I also asked about tests and she did say i could get blood tests done which i have now booked in for next week. Feeling a little better at least now.

Hi ladies! Could I join this group? DH and I are TTC baby #1 and are currently on cycle 2. I never thought that something would consume my mind as much as this has. My last week has been spent staring at my OPK waiting for the flashing smiley face to go to a solid smiley face. 10 days until AF is supposed to start - which leaves me wondering whether I've even ovulated this month. Sending lots of baby dust to you all X

I never knew something could consume my mind as much either, it's hard to think about anything else! I'm 9 days till AF shows up but keeping hopeful🤞🏻

hey guys I am TTC number 1 and currently in 1st cycle (trying to get my lingo right!) all very new and weird! I am using CLUE app to track and have been off the pill since xmas so think I have a fairly good idea of my cycles but now I am completely paranoid about symptoms! I don't know if I am just super sensitive now and noticing things that have always been there or am actually having new symptoms
at end of fertility period (according to my app) and having what I think are unusual symptoms for me - really sore boobies for a few days and now a few days of low back ache which i never usually get (usually only for 1 day at start of AF). way too early to test - I hear this is whats called the 2 weeks wait?!? so trying to be realistic and sensible but slowly going a bit mad thinking 'what if...' #paranoidorpregnant

My AF arrived this morning so im out this month. Hoping for better luck next month 🤞🏻

@CookieWaffle I'm so glad you saw a better dr eventually. Can't believe you need to check up on your GP.

Welcome new ladies. Rest assured, we all get the all consuming thoughts and the crazy. Wait... that might not be reassuring... Maybe rest assured we're here for you when it happens?

Yes @ChaosMoon although apparently they forgot to tell me when the right time in my cycle is to have those tests.... Will be calling up again...

Welcome new ladies! @Juju4dd I noticed all sorts of things in my first month symptom spotting, then next month I was like, oh this must always happen then! You think you know your body til you start charting it all!

I know what you mean @Delilah7. I try not to be negative about it but I'd rather assume it hadn't happened yet and be happy that it happens, than think its happening and be heart broken.

@CookieWaffle, NHS Choices is great for finding a new GP. Sounds like it might be time...

Thing is I'm so cramping, and I'm a week before my period and I normally don't cramp this early but it's probably the difference now I'm off the pill hey! Xx

Coming off the pill makes it all so much more confusing. I'll cross my fingers for you @Delilah7.

Sorry to hear that @EllaR1. If it offers any consolation I read somewhere to think that even though AF has started, it could be counted as day 1 of PG if you conceive next cycle. It offered me a bit of hope this month

@MrsO10D thank you. Still cramping no bleeding. TMI but even farting or anything doesn't make it go!

No good news from me either, AF came in full force this morning. Nevermind, onto next month!
