Iv been reading in other posts (and getting way bit too excited with this) that the months other ladies got their BFP was the month they never got any spotting! Im hoping this is my month as usually by now I have something going on. The only thing is I dont feel like I could be pregnant or not, is that possible?

RanchoRelaxo · 14/06/2018 21:53

@EllaR1 I have heard lots of people saying on other threads that the month they felt the least pregnant, was the month they got their bfp! fingers crossed that the lack of spotting is a good thing Smile

EllaR1 · 14/06/2018 23:38

@RanchoRelaxo oooh well that sounds hopeful Smile lets hope for good news soon!

ChaosMoon · 15/06/2018 09:14

Sorry for abandoning you mid conversation @CookieWaffle. I've had a crazy couple of days.

@Charlotte1x I know what you mean! I spent 2 weeks trying to understand it all before I dared post anything. Now I have to stop myself calling OH OH in normal conversation!

What constitutes a short luteal phase @RanchoRelaxo? Mine's 11 days. It doesn't seem ideal as implantation can take 12 days. Not sure if being on the cusp is a problem though.

Baby dust all round. Xx

MrsA89 · 15/06/2018 09:15

Hoping you all get your BFPs ladies.

AF still not here. DH is doing a grwt job of annoying me by not telling me friends wives are pregnant (so as to not upset me) then letting me find out on FB. Arghhhhhh, I even asked him outright and he said she wasn’t. Fast forward two hours, it’s on FB and he tells me he knew but didn’t want to upset me. Just because I’m not pregnant doesn’t mean every other woman in the world isn’t either. Sorry to rant I’m just massively annoyed.

EllaR1 · 15/06/2018 10:31

Morning @ChaisMoon, it says if a luteal phase is less than 10 days then thats short. I dont know exactly what mine is.

@MrsA89 that is annoying. You were going to find out anyway and better your DH told you so wasnt a shock when she announced it. Thats men for you! Oooh but is that a good sign AF still not here? Im praying mine stays away all weekend then can test next week.

Delilah7 · 15/06/2018 13:20

Just been told some crap news. So my mums a coeliac ( means you can't eat wheat etc) and now they think I have it and it can effect your fertility and take a while to get pregnant if you're not on the diet so that's me probably out for this month x

OP posts:
RanchoRelaxo · 15/06/2018 13:34

Sorry to hear that @Delilah7 will you need tests to find out if you have it too?
Mine is usually 9 days @ChaosMoon not sure what is short enough to cause problems but 2 ladies who I was recently on another thread with both had shorter luteal phases than me and got pregnant this month

Delilah7 · 15/06/2018 13:34

@RanchoRelaxo hi lovely, have to have a camera down my throat which I'm not looking forward to :(

Aww im sorry to hear that @Delilah7 Sad still dont give up! You just never know x

Delilah7 · 15/06/2018 15:40

@EllaR1 thanks lovely xx

MrsA89 · 15/06/2018 15:47

Thanks @EllaR1

@Delilah7 good luck hon, I had to have similar tests when I was diagnosed with IBS and was put on a low FODMAP diet. Turns out my trigger is regular pasta and onions so hopefully you’ll not be coeliac and just have an intolerance. Keeping fingers crossed for you xxx

Delilah7 · 15/06/2018 15:57

@MrsA89 thanks lovely!! Xxx

Hi ladies just found this group! Currently TTC it’s been about 8 months now since I got married last year. I was diagnosed with PCOS a couple of years ago so expected problems with getting pregnant. I lost my 30 yr old sister to breast cancer 5 months ago so have experienced long cycles, no ovulation, skipped periods etc due to grief and PCOS.
Finally gave up went to the drs after having no AF for 3 months he booked me in for an ultra sound to see how things are (went on Monday this week) I didn’t believe I was O got a shock when I saw there was a 24.5 follicle on my left ovary and was about to O!!! I was also told I had 3 lines in my uterus (apparently meant to be a good sign for O and had good thickness) Also got home and took OPK tests which have come back postive for 2 days now! (Never had that in the whole 8 months!)
Anyways have made sure this week DH is not going anywhere!! We have follow up app next week and dr still wants to check DH count.

Wishing everyone luck, feel like my knees have worn away with all the praying I’ve been doing! 💕 xxx

EllaR1 · 15/06/2018 16:15

Hi @Aims4, bless you hun. That sounds like a lot to deal with! Thats real good news for you though about the big O! So pleased for you and hope it works out for you soon.

This is a great place to be for a good moan and chat Smile

Baby dust to you all xx

CookieWaffle · 15/06/2018 17:01

Ooh I've missed a bit today!

@Aims4 welcome and oh you've had a bit of a time haven't you, wishing you lots of luck xx

@Delilah7 oh how will the know for sure? I know a few people who are celiac. One has 2 kids and makes some awesome celiac-friendly cakes.

I'm having a weird few days, 4th day spotting now and (sorry tmi) brown and pink discharge going on. Just had a bit of dark brown, never seen that before. I have no idea what's happening. I can feel something going on down there but I usually get a bad back and mild cramps. These are really weird light cramps and I don't have any other symptoms.

I made the decision to go see my doctor on Tuesday. As I've got this family history of taking a while to conceive and endometriosis, and with my age I thought I'd rather get myself checked out earlier than later. Will mention this weirdness too if it's still going on!

ChaosMoon · 15/06/2018 17:37

@MrsA89, rant away. I'd be fuming. I know it's well intentioned, but it makes me so mad when people think they know what you need better than you do. Keeping things from you doesn't help. It just means you go through the discovery alone, rather than with their support. :-(

@Delilah7, while that potentially sucks, it's also a good thing if you can now do something about it. I hope you have a good outcome.

Welcome @Aims4! It's nice to start with a happy sorry and it sounds like things are now going your way.

@CookieWaffle This sounds really exciting! I really hope these are the signs we're hoping for! Xx

Aims4 · 15/06/2018 18:43

Thank you ladies I will keep you updated although I might try and ‘forget’ about it for a bit! Even the fact I’m O seems a miracle in itself..

@CookieWaffle I’ve heard that brown ish and pink ish discharge can be sign of ovulation, (or implantation?) but defo get checked out at the drs and if you don’t feel it’s been investigated enough PLS get a second opinion!!

Hoping to hear that everyone gets their bfps soon xxx 💕

Delilah7 · 15/06/2018 18:56

@CookieWaffle could defo be implantation couldn't it? Good idea going to the doctors with history of your family Hun. Hopefully it's skipped you! I can have a camera down my throat which tbh I don't want to do so I'm just going to go on a gluten free diet. My blood was high before when I was tested for it.

@Aims4 sounds like things are going well for you now wish you lots of baby dust.

@ChaosMoon agreed but just makes me think this month I'm defo out xxx

OP posts:
CookieWaffle · 15/06/2018 19:13

@Aims4 @Delilah7 I'm on day 27 and 12dpo so from what I've read it sounds a bit late to have implantation. I think my body's just screwing with me for fun!

Aims4 · 15/06/2018 20:06

@CookieWaffle maybe take a preg test as the first thing the dr will ask you is if you are and if it rules out your not, at least they can take steps to get u investigated! Plus your 12dpo so it’s not too early to take one xx

CookieWaffle · 15/06/2018 20:23

Was silly and did a test a couple days ago and of course a BFN. I'm gonna see what the weekend brings first i think. Got more cramping tonight. My body just needs a good slap....

EllaR1 · 15/06/2018 20:44

Iv just had a little bit of brown spotting, think its guna be the lead up to AF now Sad knew it was too good to be true. Oh well maybe next month!

Saraelle · 15/06/2018 23:19

Sorry to hear your news @Delilah7 I hope it is more an intolerance, not that IBS is great! I don’t even know what triggers mine.
