TTC First Baby! Anyone else?!

Hi Ladies.

Anyone else on their first cycle and TTCing?! I'm seeing all these beautiful posts about ladies getting pregnant and how they have bonded with people on here soooo, thought I'd make one at the start on my journey!

@chaosmoon & @cookiewaffle thanks ladies ❤️ AF due today but no sign. Stomach still bloated. I’ve been 5 days late the last two months so I’m thinking it could be until Sunday now. Will definitely try the leg dance next cycle.

@Delilah7 I believe it’s just before, the day before and day of are most fertile. Get that baby dance on girl!!!!

I've pretty much accepted AF is on its way this week. Need to set myself (and him) a battle plan for next month!

#SJ2128 lets hope for the best, I keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. Im all of a sudden starting to feel definate period cramps now yet again! Its on its way I think 😭

@EllaR1 I missed your question, I've never tracked AF before but I know I've had some super early ones in the past. I was amazed when Flo got it on the dot last month but I don't think that's always going to happen with me. Its been good though as its showed me that my body isn't that weird and I have an average 28 day cycle.

@CookieWaffle im not always regular, maybe a 2-4days early/late. Iv been 7 days late before and 7 days early before. I hope that doesnt make me irregular??

I know I've had ones at 21 days before, I don't know whether that's due to stress or something else. I've not tracked AF enough to know for sure!

Morning everyone, how are you doing? I am on cd14 and about to start my fertile week (I think? Who knows haha)

Morning ladies. AF still not here so thought I’d test first thing. Still a BFN. Hoping AF turns up soon. How are you all today?

@EllaR1 mine are between 28 days and 34 so I currently have no idea. I’ve been off the pill since October.

Morning ladies, I think AF is here 3 days early. Doubt it would be anything else. Ah well :(

I thought I was getting AF pains but they been light on and off. I feel fine and still no spotting which is unusual for me time will tell!

@MrsA89 mine are anywhere from 24 to 32 days. Iv been off the pill since last August. Its hard to predict when ovulation could be for me when you dont know when AF will start lol I try to go by what my cm is like but seems to be early on in a cycle

@EllaR1 it’s so frustrating. Going to give OPKs a try next cycle.

I did opks this month and although I got 2 days of very close I never got a positive. However after doing my temps as well, FF seemed to work out ovulation for me. These apps are great :)

@EllaR1 fingers crossed for you this month then. My dates are spot on, 27 day cycle but a short Leutal stage. I have checked with opks.

@cookiewaffle oh just general office query from colleagues? It does get you down when they know. I’ve not told many people I am trying for that reason.

@Saraelle oh as soon as we got engaged everyone assumed we'd be after kids next. I've tried not to tell people but it's not hard to guess unfortunately!

Thanks @Saraelle. I was worried I may of had a short luteal phase to start with but I think it may of been my body trying to get a pattern. How did you get on at the doctors?

@MrsA89 I tried using OPKs but I could never get it at the right time. When I thought I would be ovulating it would be negative and one month it said I was ovulating really late into my cycle so I gave up. I may start using them again though.

I’ve just signed up. AF is here at the moment (gonna have to get used to these abbreviations) so hopefully at the end of this month we will be trying to conceive our first baby, for the first month! Already can’t stop thinking about it and already becoming a little obsessive... will be good to have people to talk to! Xx

Hi this is my first month trying for our first baby also just starting my tww I think according to clear blue ovulation kit but it's my first month off the pill fingers crossed this will be a quick and happy journey for us both

It can get very obsessive but gotta remember it doesn't always happen first go. Though we'll be rooting for you to be lucky next month!

@cookiewaffle I know the feeling, everyone assuming makes you feel worse. It will happen. Thinking positive always. But a little cry is completely normal too, I get that way xx

@EllaR1 doctors has been a longer wait than AF 🤣 it’s ridiculous at how long you have to wait before seeing someone. I’m hoping I can go in, maybe having not received AF and say I think I’m pregnant instead, cuts the wait for another appointment if I get pregnant. Going Tuesday (the day my sister has her first MW appt and scan 😭 - feel awful in two ways there! I am being supportive but crying inside). Maybe my late Ovulation is due to settling into a pattern again, not sure, strange how AF is on target and OV is late 🤷🏻‍♀️
