Delilah7 · 11/06/2018 14:31

@Delilah7 yeah iv been there! After a while you learn to except it but deep down you just want to cry. It will get easier for you but It never leaves your thoughts. Try find something to distract you from it.

Saraelle · 11/06/2018 14:44

@delilah7 yes it seems to be the way, I didn’t want a baby in my 20s so now going to have to wait my turn. I will do hopefully they can help with some of the issues I am having! Good luck with your journey also x

Delilah7 · 11/06/2018 14:47

@Saraelle @EllaR1 I guess I'm lucky that I'm 22 nearly 23, I hope that means I could get pregnant faster but sure wish you guys all the luck in the world. Xx

EllaR1 · 11/06/2018 14:55

@Delilah7 oh yes, your still very young. I dont think you will be waiting long. Im 31 and my hubby is 34 so I think thats why we are struggling. Good luck to you all xx

Delilah7 · 11/06/2018 15:07

@EllaR1 but my other half is 31 and a smoker so.. I don't drink smoke or do anything like that xxx

Saraelle · 11/06/2018 18:19

@delilah7 @EllaR1 im 32 and partner is 39 so think that is why we have had no luck yet. I didn’t drink a lot anyway but have gone t-total and cut down caffeine, upped my exercise. Just need to get my sleep sorted!

Saraelle · 11/06/2018 18:24

Sorry @EllaR1 didn’t see your earlier post.

It’s usually 1-2 days spotting and quite light. I seem to always have had something around this time even on the pill, and AF is due Saturday so that makes sense. I went to the doctors a few years ago and had a cortorisation (this may be a completely made up word!) but basically I was bleeding after sex so they did a procedure which seemed to cure it, I’m not sure this is the same as sometimes I’ve not had sex and it still happens.

I’m hoping to get some info from the doctor to put mind to rest. Also to ask about late OV.

Xx

MrsA89 · 11/06/2018 23:03

So bloating persisted all day and been feeling really uncomfortable. Decided to take my first ever test and it was a BFN. 2 more days until AF, just want it to arrive so I can start another cycle.

EllaR1 · 11/06/2018 23:36

Hi @Saraelle, yes that sounds like what I have and you can get it cauterised but the doctor advised me not to. I dont spot after sex its always some point after ovulation stops uptill AF starts, but in some women it can be only after sex or anytime.

Let us know how its goes at the doctor anyway and good luck xx

ChaosMoon · 12/06/2018 07:46

Sorry to hear that @MrsA89. You're not completely out until AF is here - but I completely get where you're coming from. It's exactly how I felt last month.

I'm 34, DH is 36. Same age as some of my friends when they conceived 1st time, so I keep trying to believe it won't stand against me. What's harder to ignore is a family history off repeated MCs and infertility.

Delilah7 · 12/06/2018 08:23

Morning guys.

Feeling really low and emotional today. Probably doesn't help me and OH didn't have sex yesterday which is defo near my ovulation day apparently it should be tomorrow. So feeling abit sad xx

CookieWaffle · 12/06/2018 08:33

@MrsA89 sorry to hear about the BFN, there's still time yet xx

@Delilah7 I know how you feel, we only BD once this month and I know if I pressured him too much it just wouldn't happen. Can you try tonight?

EllaR1 · 12/06/2018 10:58

#ChaosMoon sorry to hear that. You could visit your doctor and explain the situation. May make you feel better if they carry out some tests to make sure everything is alright.

#Delilah7 this is how I feel when we miss BD. There is still chance as sperm can live a few days. Try tonight as you could still be ovulating.

Delilah7 · 12/06/2018 11:06

@CookieWaffle well I'm apparently ovulating tomorrow so surely I would be good to do it tonight for sure xx

So I just successfully bought a FRER from the superdrug next to my office and don't think I was spotted! I'm very proud of my achievement haha :) simple things...

ChaosMoon · 12/06/2018 17:16

Very well done @CookieWaffle! Grin I hope it gives you the right result.

Sorry to hear that @Delilah7. Sperm can stay there for up to a week, so don't despair. I've read that the day before is the best time, so you have some ready and waiting! Tonight is perfect.

@EllaR1, when my ex and I were about to start trying, I went to my GP. He made it clear that he didn't want to hear about it until I'd had at least one MC of my own. Like I was worried about getting a cold, not losing a baby. I've moved GP since, but don't know my new one at all (just changed again). I don't know if I can face another conversation like that.

Delilah7 · 12/06/2018 17:59

@ChaosMoon I hope so!! I'm going to lay still for like 10 mins Hahahaha

OP posts:
ChaosMoon · 12/06/2018 20:33

@Delilah7 don't forget the leg dance!

Delilah7 · 12/06/2018 20:35

@ChaosMoon forgot it but laid for a long time hahaha

OP posts:
ChaosMoon · 12/06/2018 20:55

Well there's always tomorrow night! Wink

CookieWaffle · 12/06/2018 21:38

Ahh no leg dance? Haha not essential of course! Good luck! xx

Am having a bit of a weep tonight. No signs yet and I fear AF is on its way soon. With the stress of work and this, I'm having an off night :(

SJ2128 · 12/06/2018 22:19

Hi all :) I hope you don’t mind me joining in so far in to the thread!
We’re currently TTC and in our first cycle. I was on the pill for around 11 years before I came off last month, had the normal withdrawal bleed and I’m due AF on friday (14th). Last week I had some weird pink discharge (googling this tells me it could be implantation?!), along with minor cramps, sensitive boobs and lack of appetite. Most symptoms seem to have passed now so feeling almost normal. Not sure if these are pregnancy signs or just my body adjusting after stopping the pill!
Where are you all up to in your cycle?

EllaR1 · 12/06/2018 22:31

#ChaosMoon thats awful :( wait till your ready and just have fun.

What is the leg dance everybody? If it helps il try it lol.

#SJ2128 it could be your body adjusting. Sometimes you can convince yourself your pregnant and then it passes straight away. Im due my AF on monday (although it could be anyday), but at the moment I dont have any signs its going to start. Usually I can tell by now, but nothing and I usually get spotting every month without fail leading up to it but that hasnt started either. I do wonder (if I was pregnant) why I would not feel it Hmm
