Hi Ladies.

Anyone else on their first cycle and TTCing?! I'm seeing all these beautiful posts about ladies getting pregnant and how they have bonded with people on here soooo, thought I'd make one at the start on my journey!

I'm so glad you did @Delilah7. I feel exactly the same. What on earth did people do before forms like this?

Very good luck for Monday @Ladybug82!

CookieWaffle · 08/06/2018 17:07

Aww sorry @AmyLouise94, hoping for next month xx

Good luck @Ladybug82, I'm sure it will be fine :)

Hoping everyone's good this lovely Friday evening. It's been a looooong week! I've been really bad this week with food (which apparently can be caused by hormones!) so I'm sporting a lovely fat-baby belly. Just over a week til AF is due so lets hope I can turn it into a real baby belly! We only DTD once so I wouldn't be surprised if its BFNope this month but one can hope....

Delilah7 · 08/06/2018 17:22

@ChaosMoon I know!! I love how friendly and regular everyone is.

@CookieWaffle let's hope it's a baby baby!! And no food baby! Never know. Once is better than nothing!! Baby dust to you xx

Thank you @CookieWaffle and good luck to all you girls in July!!

Waiting for AF to come is actual torture.

ChaosMoon · 09/06/2018 11:00

@AmyLouise94 tell me about it! My cycle's been so messed up this month, that I'm not even 100% sure if AF has been or not. I think she has... But it's been bloody confusing.
Sorry to hear it's been such a rubbish week @CookieWaffle I hope this weekend makes up for it.

EllaR1 · 09/06/2018 15:38

Hi, im ttc my first been nearly a year now 😢 just want somewhere I can talk to people about it who are going through the same thing and don’t feel so alone every month. All my friends have babies or getting pregnant and it really gets me down. That 2ww is a nightmare for me, anybody else?

Delilah7 · 09/06/2018 16:01

@EllaR1 hi lovely sorry to hear you've been having a hard time TWW is awful and I've experienced it once and was convinced I was.
Just met my cousins little baby and felt so happy yet so sad at the same time x

CookieWaffle · 09/06/2018 19:11

@EllaR1 welcome! I totally know how you feel, one friend has just had her third and another is now pregnant. Over the years I've got more used to it but I still go away and have a little cry! I'm just sat enjoying a glass of wine at the moment, taking this TWW as chilled as possible!

ChaosMoon · 09/06/2018 21:30

Good move @CookieWaffle!
@EllaR1 you're in the right place. I'm surrounded by friends with children and more on the way, all telling me how quick and easy they found tcc. And obviously I'm pleased for them...

CookieWaffle · 10/06/2018 13:46

A few of my friends have got pregnant over one night accidents. How dare they make it look so easy!

I have to say although I'm trying not to stress this month, doing the temping and opks has helped give me a little feeling of control back rather than just relying on my body to do the right thing. Just trying one more thing each month gives me a little sense of progress. I guess I probably won't be saying that after a few months but for now I'm just doing what I can to make me feel better.

Next month OH promised me a week of full on BD, will see if he sticks to that promise!

EllaR1 · 10/06/2018 19:02

Aww thanks girls for your replies Smile

Im currently waiting the TWW aswell. Somedays I feel like I could be then it just vanishes! I try not to think about it, but its hard when its all you want. I use a fertility app to track everything but I dont find it helps me much. Iv tried ovulating kits, preseed but nothing works. We just BD when we feel like it now but the days we dont I think that could of been the chance. Hubby has booked us a weekend away at the end of the month for our 1st wedding anniversary so im hoping that will relax us and take the worrying away. Good luck with that #cookiewaffle! I think thats our next try to BD for a week but you soon get tired of it and I think it puts more pressure for you both.

Me and my best friend started trying at the same time, shes now due her first in August. We was hoping we could of gone through the experience together but I guess that wasnt meant to be. Im happy for her but dreading when il have to go round to see her baby as I think that will be very hard for me.

Sorry for the long post, its good to let it all out finally!

PixieLoo · 11/06/2018 01:58

Hey girls, 6DPO here and cramping with sore boobs 😒 hoping it's a good sign but not getting my hopes up since it's so early! AF due in 10 days...

CookieWaffle · 11/06/2018 07:43

@EllaR1 Don't worry about letting it out, that's why we're here :)

8dpo today and no unusual symptoms. I'm trying to say to myself it's probably not this month so I don't feel too bad when it's a BFN. Oh I did break out in spots but that might also be the chocolate my OH brought home the other day! Regardless, I will be testing near the end of this week anyway!

CookieWaffle · 11/06/2018 07:44

Hey @PixieLoo! Fingers crossed! xx

MrsA89 · 11/06/2018 10:36

Morning ladies. My hormonal acne has reared its ugly head too @cookiewaffle and I’m bloated. Flo says AF is 16th, Ovia says 13th. I’ve still not tested but expecting a BFN.

@EllaR1 welcome! Weekend away sounds fab, I’ve seen a lot of ladies saying when they relax on holiday they fall quickly. Xx

Delilah7 · 11/06/2018 12:34

Hi ladies. Been AWOL this weekend sorry! Trying to catch up with everything and one.
To anyone symptom spotting from someone who went mad last month doing it, try not to. Have a relaxed journey... you know your own body when something's different but your mind can play tricks, but also never lose faith! Love and baby dust to you all. Want to see those BFPS! Xxx

My AF due in 7 days. I did feel nausea yesterday, but iv come to expect that around this time. Just keep telling yourself it HAS to happen one day Smile

It is usually your body playing tricks on you I find so dont look too much into it, its sooo annoying Angry. My hormonal acne has flared up this month too. Glad we can all share this together. They do say it can take up to a year so im hoping it not too long await for me now, if not im dragging my hubby to the drs next month!

EllaR1 · 11/06/2018 13:24

Oh and iv put on weight ecspecially round my belly but I think thats me just being greedy lol Hmm

Delilah7 · 11/06/2018 13:56

@EllaR1 at least yours isn't your arse hahaha. My thighs and bum have swollen abit to be honest. I want it to happen sooner rather than later, I'm very impatient hahaha. X

I’m so glad I’ve found this thread! All the others seemed to be from pre 2014!

I am in the same boat as all you lovely ladies, I’ve been TTC for 6 months, not long I know but for the people who I have seen say “that’s not long” it feels like an eternity to me 😢. I’ve got a doctors appointment booked for next Tuesday as I have a weird 2 day bleed between OV and AF which has happened a few times, whether this is normal or whether it is in fact a MC I don’t know. I have tried OPIs and found I OV late (day 16 and not day 12like Flo suggested). Worried that late OV would result in their being nothing for a fertilised egg to implant into?! AF is due on Saturday 16th June. Currently according to OPI I would be 6 DPO approx (as I’m not sure when I actually ovulated, only that I had first positive one on that date).

I’m going to sound awful now but what is making it worse is that my little sister (11 years my junior) seemed to have just fallen pregnant in cycle 1 and it was planned. I’ve been on and off various pills for 15 years as I wanted a career. Now I am over 30 and met someone I would love to have children with, and I’m having to wait each painful cycle because I’m older, or may have other problems I don’t know! I feel happy for sister but also upset for myself as it seems I am going to have to try harder.

I’m also currently thinking every little thing is a symptom which isn’t good as a few have said, but it’s so hard. I’m currently very gassy (burps) and have had the D of D&V recently since OV.

Just glad there is a group of you who are experiencing this now so I can speak to people!

EllaR1 · 11/06/2018 14:10

@Delilah7 Grin haha I think everywhere has got big! Yes, I know what you mean im very impatient too. You think to yourself you’ll know if you was straight after BD, trying to get it out of my head it takes longer than that lol

Delilah7 · 11/06/2018 14:23

@Saraelle welcome my lovely. 6 months to me would feel like eternity too and I've been trying 1 month so I'm with you!
Aww, yes that is a shame about little sister. Unfortunately I guess that could be to do with her age... hate that though. We are all here for you. Please do let us know how doctors goes zz

EllaR1 · 11/06/2018 14:25

Hi @Saraelle! It can feel like a lifetime after only a few months. Iv been trying for nearly a year now so I know how you feel.

Can I ask you if its a heavy bleed or more like spotting? Since coming off the pill I have light spotting for a week leading up to AF and the doctor told me it was a cervical erosion or ectropion. Its just your hormones that causes your cervix to spot as the cells are more exposed. If it is that its nothing to worry about and doesnt affect you getting pregnant. I spent a good 8 months stressing about this and at the doctors every month demanding answers and tests as I was convinced something was wrong with me, but everything has turned out normal I just expect it now. It can be annoying though as I never had this when I was on the pill.

Its easy to think every little symptom is something to worry about and googling them to find you may have something else wrong. Iv done this and its not good. You need to relax and it will happen. When you have answers from your GP it will give you piece of mind.

Good luck!
