Ladies, the old thread has finished, here's a new one.

which day is dpo1? is it the day of pos. opk? I had a pos on the 6th and felt ov on the same day..is that possible? I could literally feel the journey (no imagination)..I am on Clomid and Metformin both. I know it is early, but I have tender breast and nipple(get this for af as well..minus nipple) also check my cervix between 8th and 9th and it was dry..no CM...today I have alot of white wet CM ( sorry tmi) i have had kids before but didnt check anything. I am curious about CM..any thoughts...

@dee7409 not sure as with a +opk you could ov up to 24 hrs later.. 🤔

@chatbash is it possible to ovulate the same day as +opk?

@dee7409 I think so, a +ve opk means that the ov is imminent but it's not an exact science that's why the base the beginning of preg from first day of period.. 🤦‍♀️

@dee - I’m pretty sure this happened to me last cycle too. I had +opk on the morning of day 13 and swear I felt the pop of ovulation about 5 hours later. I figured the LH surge probably started the night before and the test caught it on the way back down. I never get sore breasts but I had them from 1dpo last cycle, and I’ve also never felt ovulation before - my guesss is that it was a larger than normal follicle - the larger the follicle the more progesterone it will put out after ovulation, hence the sore bbs 😊

I can feel the ov.. have pain on right side.. always seems to be the r and seem to be doing it earlier in cycle. ( age thing I think) my bestie's latest Babba conceived on day 5 😳

If you felt ovulation on the 6th then I would say the 7th would be 1dpo. The egg only lives for 12hours or so.

Hi ladies, I got a BFP yesterday but really don't know if it'll stick. Had a tiny bit of brown spotting yesterday and today and a bit of cramping this morning so I'm not getting too excited. Did another test today and it came fairly strong so we'll see. I guess I'll test every day to see if they get darker. Googled spotting and some women say they had it and it was nothing to worry about and some that it preceded a mc so I guess time will tell.

Congratulations orchid . I was convinced mine wouldn't stick due to a little brown spotting around the time I tested. It's such a stressful time. But your strong positive sounds good 👍

Sparkly- nice to see you're still checking this chat. Do you remember how long your spotting lasted? I took cb digital test yesterday which showed 1-2 weeks pregnant (it was exactly 2 weeks from when my opk turned positive) so I'll do that one again in a few days and see if it shows 2-3 weeks. I also inserted a progesterone suppository for good measure so let's see.
How are you feeling Sparkly? You must be almost half way there by now?

Orchid, I had one wipe of pinky/reddish blood on wiping two days before af was due. Just looked like the normal start of af, so I was convinced I was out.

I think I was two days late by the time I finally tested. Had a tiny bit of pale brown discharge on wiping that day. Then the following day I had a little more, and my sore swollen boobs went completely back to normal! So suspected a chemical and waited to start bleeding..........but never did. My sore boobs came back, really strong tests, and finally allowed myself to start believing it!

I'm 16 weeks now and feel really good, apart from being ready for bed by 9:30 most nights! I've started swimming and power walking......up until 12 weeks I was struggling through each day with zero energy.

Thanks Sparkly! Similar to you, I first had a tiny bit of blood right before I expected AF but it didn't come so waited 2 days and tested. Unlike you though I have no symptoms whatsoever. With ds I knew straight away even before AF was due because of sore boobs but this time there's nothing. I keep telling myself every pregnancy is different and maybe symptoms will come later. Here's to hoping. But whatever happens at least I know I can still get pregnant on my own, it's taken me 12 cycles to get to this point.

Congrats Orchid! I really hope this is it for you.

I, on the other hand, will be joining you all again sadly. I've had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks. Baby only made it to 6.5 weeks, discovered at scan on Friday. Still waiting to fully miscarry, but then we'll be trying again. Absolutely gutted but at least we know we can actually get pregnant now, although hopefully it will not take a year again as I really don't think I have time with me for that.
