also dont know if this is a symptom, but i noticed i have been very thirsty today and must have peed about 5 times in 4 hours..unusual for me..

Grrrrr I hate doctors scaremongering.. there are more ladies in the 40's having babies than ever before.. ( was from an Alex Jones interview, who i can't stand but I'll take that fact)
Before regular birth control ladies up until the 1960's - 70's had babies until the stoped having periods.. and they drank and smoked through their pregnancies.. don't give up ladies we are not ground breaking our grannies were.. xxx

Just a quick update, I'm 10 DPO tomorrow and I'm cracking open a frer! Anyone else testing soon?
Don't feel remotely hopeful as I haven't had so much of a sniff of a symptom!

AF just arrived. Gutted as really got my hopes up having the HSG last month. Coming up to two years ttc now and starting to lose faith. Not had even a sniff of a bfp. I know I’ll keep going but for how long? Anyway I’ve got my consultation on Monday so results might tell us my tubes are blocked or sperm is duff. At least we’ll know either way. I too have regular cycles so something must be wrong

Mimosa-sorry about AF. As I said earlier, my HyCoSy didn't work for me either:( As for your results, just be prepared that they will be all ok. Ours were and we just seem to have unexplained infertility which really sucks. At least if something was wrong we could look into fixing it but there's nothing and I haven't had a sniff of a bfp either. So very frustrating!
Faith- when did you stop TCM? This is my 2nd week without it and I'm wondering if AF takes longer to arrive because my body us getting used to not having the herbs and acupuncture.

Weasle- good luck with testing but didn't you say last month you'd wait until the day AF was due?

Thanks everyone. Can’t believe how much it has got me this time. Have sobbed most of the evening. I just feel like time is ebbing away and that the age gap between my youngest and any potential baby is getting too wide now. He’ll be 5 in the summer. My heart hurts a lot today, I feel like I’ve spent the best part of the last ten years longing for a baby. I know how incredibly lucky I am to have got my two DC but they weren’t easy to come by either plus a miscarriage along the way. Why is human fertility so crap????

Ha ha! We have no self control - all this testing and symptom spotting - it’s an obsessive compulsion .. sorry too for the BFN’s - pesky AF! Grhh!
Mine lasted 2 days - barely worth wearing a tampon so my lining as thin as ever despite 16 weeks of herbs and needles. Orchid I stopped the herbs 3 weeks ago, after my 44 day cycle I got freaked out AND my skin was getting horrific (mind you I think that was the DHEA) stopped that too.
Period was a week late this month.
Dee I totally felt ovulation on clomid - unnerving - like I could feel my eggs launch from the follicle - freaky, but I also felt horrifically nauseous ... 😳Good Luck. X

Sending you a hug mimosa . It’s so rubbish - the pain in your heart is so real - I know where you are coming from - I think we all do. I’ve been really tearful these past few days too - especially as my daughter asks every day when her ‘brother’ will be born . Breaks my heart every time. She just gets cross when I try to explain there is no baby growing in my belly, and then I really want to cry... Thinking of you all my fertility sisters. Keep hope alive. XxX love and huggles. X

@littlemimosa try not to worry about the age gap... my youngest is 5, I have a 10 year age gap between my son and daughter and there is 13 years between me and my little brother ( now 32) there is nothing but love flowing around.. have sobbed today too.. sending lots of love 💕💕💕

Mimosa- don't worry about the age gap. I have cousins (2 sisters) with 7 years between them and they are best friends. A friend of mine has half siblings who are 9 and 10 years younger than her and they get along beautifully. I have many more examples like that. Sure they won't play together all the time as kids but later in life they'll be just as close as if there were 2 years between them. I also had a big crying session today about it all when looking at the IVF costs. It's not the cost that got me crying but the fact that I can't seem to be able to get pregnant without intervention.
Faith- has your period been a week late before? Mine is fairly regular, give or take 1-2 days max so wondering if dropping herbs will have a huge effect on it this month. As for your daughter asking about her little brother, I have a feeling I'll be facing that soon. All of my son's friends at the nursery are becoming older siblings and when my husband went to pick him up today he found him playing with a baby boy...so it's probably just a matter of time. Sigh.

I forgot to mention- my skin is horrific too! And I never have skin problems...very annoying.

@keep.. I was poorly as hell with the clomid...DH said it is as if I was having morning sickness..it was really bad, but i soldiered on hoping for what i am wishing for at the end of all this

Morning, I have a little sister who is 15 years younger than me and we are extremely close. I think it all depends on the family and the personality of individuals as to how they get on.

Hope peoples are feeling brighter today - I'm in a bit of a no man's land on CD 4 and not knowing what is going to happen this cycle.

Orchid, my period was only ever late once before in my life before the herbs. I do think they have interfered with things and as for the skin - its been really annoying - big boils - only one or two at a time but massive and each one hangs around for 2 weeks min, I have felt like a teenager. Each time one clears up, another one appears - on my cheek, chin, neck even.... it's been so depressing....

I am hoping after 3 weeks of no herbs things might start calming own again but who knows.....!

Day 2 of new cycle.. blughhhh let's see what this month brings ladies let it be filled with lots of ewcm, lots of dtd and baby dust ⭐️⭐️

Thanks so much everyone. I really appreciate your kind words, i really do. I feel a bit brighter today, slept well and AF is in full flow and i'm feeling fine. I'm that weird person who doesn't actually mind having periods.
I'm so sorry for those who have children asking for a brother or sister. that's heart-breaking. Big hugs.
I guess all we can all do is keep at it and keep believing. I'm planning to do some 'fertility' tummy massages this month along with castor oil packs. I always feel i have to try at least one new thing each new cycle! I need a plan lol.

Mimosa- glad to hear you're feeling better. I think cd1 always hits us hardest and then somehow we find more strength to keep going.

Still no AF for me and my leaving drinks at work are tomorrow. I'm sure it's late because my body is adjusting to not having herbs but still I'd like a confirmation...took a frer this morning but bfn so need AF to arrive before I go drinking. I'll test again tonight and tomorrow morning if it doesn't arrive by then. If it's bfn each time I guess I can assume I'm out (which deep down I know anyway) but still won't feel comfortable drinking withou AF...
