TTC #2 April BFPs

Following on from our last (many) threads, this is one for anyone hoping for a Christmas baby number two.

My stats -

Age: 35
Cycle: 24+ lost count..
DC: 3yo this month
AF due 19th April
Not a hint of a bfp in that time

I'm charting now and send myself crazy every tww so come join me for the bumpy ride x

Cycle: 18
DD: 9 y/o
AF due: 15th April

I’ve not had a single bfp in all that time and have had all fertility tests done and been diagnosed with unexplained infertility

Hi bubblegum thanks for joining. Unexplained infertility must be tough- you always hope there'll be a fix. Are you charting etc? You're so young, that's got to be on your side. I really hope this is your month.

I had surgery in November to remove a polyp in my uterus and they found endometriosis too. They told me i should be likely to fall pg in a few months (i.e. by now) so god knows whats going on really! I've got an appointment with my specialist mid April to make plans although not sure whether its ivf or something else

DD: 14 months
AF due: 11th April

I think DD was conceived on cycle 3 or 4, so who knows- this could be our month. I'm a bit conflicted this month, as OH has his birthday the week before Christmas, and DD the week following. Whatever will be will be I guess! And feel free to remind me of this when I'm throwing negative FRERs at the wall!!

Thanks cat I’ve been told by doctors that “it’ll happen” because it’s happened before. I’ve been pregnant twice both whilst on the pill, typical right? I only do opks, don’t temp because I’m up and down all night so the readings wouldn’t be very accurate. Unexplained is super annoying because there’s no reason which is hard to get your head around! That’s good news that’s they seem hopeful you’ll conceive soon :) I heard after having a hsg/HyCoSy you are more fertile but I had one done last month and I’m on cd1 today. Ttc sucks

So trying for my 2nd, Came off the pill on 10th April really hoping I can fall this month. If not I’ll take a break next month as me and my stepson are long suffering January babies we can’t add another to the list lol.

I’m joining this one but it’s going to be a very relaxed month for us as DH is away most of the month and so our ability to dtd is much diminished so I’m not massively hopeful!

Cycle: 20 (month 17)
AF due: 12 April
Not a hint of a BFP in the past 19 cycles... We think male factor could be a contributory factor but probably not enough to have made conception not happen at all so we’re also mainly unexplained... Like Bubble and Cat we got told at the fertility clinic in November that she didn’t expect to see us again as she had every confidence we’d conceive naturally before Spring... Evidently not... It now feels like we’re hurtling head first into IVF...

Had a MMC at 8 weeks in Dec followed by CP in Feb so feeling a bit battered by it all but trooping on and trying to get positive again for another go this cycle.

Welcome everyone! Quite a few of us due around mid April so my fingers remain crossed for lots of simultaneous bfps.

Im also not fussy, Christmas baby or any baby would be nice thanks! The only saving grace frm last month is that i have a bbt chart for a bfn month (including a beautiful implantation dip that was anything but..!) to compare with in minute obsessive detail.. i find it keeps me from poas at least until 12dpo.. 🙈

We're planning a couple of nights away sans dd over easter and can't wait. Its just before my fertile week so looking forward to some pressure-free shagging. Its been a while!

Cycle: 4 after m/c in Oct but been trying since Aug 17.
AF due: 20 April

AF arrived today. I'm finding it pretty tough as TTC just hadn't been going well. I have friends due in March and April and I was meant to be May. We all have DC 1 the same age. So would have dc2 the same age too. Except I miscarried so now just have to try and hide how bothered I am that they are heavily pregnant and likely mine won't even be born the same year. Hopefully I'll feel better tomoz. Sorry for a moan on my first post!

Aw rainyshowers your moans are welcome here, quite a few of us are long time ttc-ers and totally understand how shite it feels seeing people around us have more and more children while we're struggling. I just feel really left behind all my friends who have 'finished' their families. You're welcome here! Did you have any trouble with dc1?

Hi all, I think I joined the previous thread but gave up as my cycles are so long. I just got a positive opk yesterday and this morning on CD 65 - finally!!

Been trying since December but only ovulated once since then, so cycle 2?

There was a pregnancy announcement today. The same gestation I should be now. I hate this :( it's in my old postnatal group from DD and I want to leave because even if I unfollow the group it keeps popping up but I don't want them all to think I'm just bitter, I'm just not coping still.

Oh @YassQueen I'm so sorry. I have the same problem in work and I also have a friend who is a couple of weeks behind and getting an abortion and turning to me for support. She knows about my MC too but has never experienced it so doesn't get it.

Doesn't it feel like there are babies/pregnancies at every turn for us all? I swear there's a baby boom on atm!

@yass I’ve had this so many times on my baby group now. Those that I started TTC No2 with or started before have all had babies or are due very soon. I thought about leaving my group as well but decided not to because I’ve met many of them in real life and I love them. They saved my sanity when DD was born and before. That being said I know that had I left they would have totally understood why and I think you need to do what is best for you no matter what.

Ttc for 14 cycles miscarriage in August.

Have no idea where I am in cycle right now. Was due on period this week but had weird bleeding 2 weeks into my cycle. Not sure if that was an early period. I’m usually regular but this last cycle has left me scratching my head 🤔

Cycle 7 for me. BFP in February but lost it at 5 weeks 
DD aged 18 months
BFP due 16th April
Getting pretty despondent about the whole thing now. Have given up temping this month as getting too obsessed.

And welcome sodababy! Sorry you're feeling over it, totally get it. Maybe keeping things less stressy will take the pressure off this month. I've gone totally the opposite, after 2 years ttc I'm data obsessed, charting and using no less than 3 apps.. oh dear!

AF arrived yesterday so here I am again. Hoping we get BFP for xmas/new year babies. If I conceive this cycle I will have a due date on my birthday (NYD) !! FX

This time round we are really cutting out the caffeine and alcohol (may have still been having the cheeky coffee at work) Also got all the vitamins e.g. B for me and zinc for OH.

Hi @catren27 no I didn’t poas but just did and it’s a negative. So I’m going on the basis that it was an early period which means I may have ovulated last week and based on my calculations that was the day we dtd. The only day last week 🙈 I’ve just been so confused about what’s going on I thought I’d just wait for my next period to start tracking again. Would be crazy if the one month I’m not tracking it does happen. I have been having cramps, more discharge and am very moody these past few days. I’m wondering whether I am pregnant now which would be a bloody miracle. I don’t have sore boobs though. Anyway, I’ll go on the assumption I’m not until my next period is due which I think is about Wednesday next week. I don’t get my hopes up but we’ll see! 👀👀👀🤞

Hi Soda!! TTC1 seems like a lifetime ago now, doesn't it?! Lovely to see familiar faces the second time around I'm sorry to hear about your mc. Winter babies are so much fun; fingers crossed for this month!

Are OPKs supposed to have a faint line all month around and then a strong one when you're ovulating? I did one today (CD8 I think) and there's no second line whatsoever.
