YassQueen I get a vvfl at the beginning of my fertile week; I haven't checked part way through my cycle. I think the hormone is always present, but the tests are less sensitive than pregnancy tests are, so it may not pick low levels up.

Chel1888 · 27/03/2018 20:32

Im on my tww now.. 3dpo i think!? and i got some very unusual discharge today... very thick, creamy and white.. sorry tmi lol. I was a bit taken back with it. Im really hoping its a good sign? fingers and toes crossed

Peanut1980 · 28/03/2018 19:58

That sounds positive @chel1888. Good luck 🤞

TwittleBee · 29/03/2018 07:52

How is everyone doing this cycle so far? Good long weekends planned either full of DTD or getting BFP I hope!

Today is our first day of our DTD marathon. We have decided we will make sure DTD every other day even if it means not much sleep as trying to limit it and schedule it sensibly hasn't worked haha

sodababy2 · 29/03/2018 08:09

Thanks mayago it's been quite tough to be honest Sad

I'm gearing up for plenty of DTD this weekend - on CD12 today and usually ovulate CD15/16.

Fingers crossed for everyone

TwittleBee · 29/03/2018 08:21

sodababy2 FX!

Calling @lopeylopez from the March thread, sorry to hear you're still in this game but we're here all with our fingers crossed xx

Hi everyone! Can I join?

Age: 28
TTC #2
DC - 3 in May
AF due 26th April
Cycle - 9

We are fast approaching the 1 year mark with no sign of a BFP. I have been lurking on these boards for the last few cycles and would love to get involved with the support I see on here. Had some weird cycles for a few months, with bleeding coming every 2 weeks or so. Had a blood test and a scan, everything has come back normal so I am hoping that it was some weird hormonal stuff that has calmed down now.

Good luck to everyone!

TwittleBee · 29/03/2018 11:44

Geegeegirl hey there! Welcome and of course you can join in Smile
Sorry to hear you have had some bizarre cycles lately, hopefully all settles down soon and sorts itself out ready for a BFP!

HidCat · 29/03/2018 15:00

Afternoon all, hope were all set for Easter weekend and the chocfest that comes with it!
Had some bleeding the last day or two so if everything goes back to normal (might be pushing it) I'm expecting AF around April 29th. Looking forward to seeing some nice BFPs for everyone this month!

Peanut1980 · 29/03/2018 19:12

Welcome @geegeegirl. I hope you get your BFP soon xx

LopeyLopez · 29/03/2018 19:44

Hello again all; thanks for the shout and the new thread Cat!

Stats for me this time:

Age 38
DS is 2.5
TTC #2 properly since March 2017; ntnp since Sept 2015!
Cycle 15
BFP due 27th April

It actually worked out I had two chances for a bfp in March : start of the month and end of the month, due to 27/28 day cycles. However I failed at both.... ☹️

As usual lots of dtd and great timing but no luck....am wondering what I have to do?!?!?!!

Pretty sure today is cd1 as have brown spotting, which also means I had an unusually short luteal phase of 10 days this month...oh dear.

Sorry for the moan ....fingers crossed for us all this month lovely ladies 👍🤞

mayago · 29/03/2018 21:13

Aw, I'm sorry soda. I am absolutely terrified of mc this time around, whereas it wasn't even something I thought about when going through this process last time. I am just as impatient this time around though!

Having a strange cycle. Three days ago had a stark negative OPK. The day after looked promising, then yesterday was almost positive. And now back to negative again. Have I missed it? Three days of EWCM, which is more than usual.. We have managed to DTD every other day, and yesterday as well (I'm counting that as O day?) Ovia got a bit confused, and switched things around..

Roll on BFPs! Fingers crossed it's our collective month Grin

Pinklily1 · 29/03/2018 22:19

Hi ladies

I hoped on earlier but have been swamped at work so fallen out of the thread a bit.

Hope everyone is doing ok, Flowers to soda, try not to become too disheartened. I’m with may, MC isn’t something I thought about first time round but I worry about it this time. Try to stay positive and pin OH down for lots of DTD this weekend.

I’m really struggling after coming off the pill last month. Awful stomach cramps and bloating, and headaches. Has anyone else has this? It’s thrown a spanner in the TTC for this month as I’m just not interested, I’m so uncomfortable.

sodababy2 · 30/03/2018 10:04

Thanks pink and May. Bizarrely I was terrified of m/c first time round. When I got pregnant the other month it just didn't really cross my mind. I guess once you have one healthy pregnancy you take it for granted everything will be fine again.

May it sounds like you might have missed your surge on the OPKs. Sounds like you timed it well though. Fingers crossed

Geegeegirl · 30/03/2018 11:48

Thanks @Tweetlebee and @Peanut.

Hope everyone is managing to enjoy this rainy bank holiday!

I'm planning to use OPKs properly this month. I tried the last couple of cycles but I don't think I was consistent enough and the irregular bleeding just left me feeling like I would never O!

I'm cycle day 3 today so just waiting for AF to finish so we can get back to it. Trying not to feel super envious of two close friends, one has just had her baby and one is due next month.

@Pinklily1 I have had the weirdest cycles since coming off Mirena coil, I have also had way more cramping and bloating around AF time than I used to have pre-DC. I think it is just strange hormonal imbalances but I am praying I have seen the end of it now!

TwittleBee · 30/03/2018 14:58

Lopey could it have been implant spotting if only at 10dpo? Or of AF in free flow now?

May i agree with Soda that you just missed the surge on OPK. They recommend you test every 12 hours if you want to ensure you catch it.

Geegee yeah that would have been frustrating with bleeding all over the show. Good luck with this cycle! AF Is due 24th for me so we're both close, hopefully AF won't show up for either of us.

mayago · 30/03/2018 20:22

Hm, thanks ladies. I've done all I can do now, so will sit back and patiently wait it out.. I have a stack of FRERs, and will no doubt start peeing all over them far too early.

I must say I've enjoyed not being on birth control for the last couple of years. Did you go back on the same pill as before Pink? It may be it doesn't work for you as well post baby. Or just our bodies are just so different now, and freak out a little more when hormone levels change Confused

SJB90 · 30/03/2018 23:00

I'll join too!

Age: 27
Cycle: 7 after mmc at 14 weeks(2years ago) wanted it to happen naturally but it never did so here we are approaching cycle 7 of actively trying!
DD: 3
AF due 26th CD 5!

getting ready for this month! Bought some preseed & OPKs ... I've also bought some instead cups has anyone tried those? My cousin has been a surrogate and swears they helped her... although she didnt DTD I suppose!

CatRen27 · 31/03/2018 05:58

Hi ladies, mayago i think you'll probably be our first tester, how exciting!

I'm on cd 13 and usually ovulate on cd17 or so but opk was surprisingly dark today so think i must be close. Thoughts?

We've got two whole child free nights so we're making the most of it abd its unbelievable how relaxed i am. We went to a spa this nothing for a 2hr session then I had a nap this afternoon!

Welcome all newbies, keep us posted of how everyones getting on x

LopeyLopez · 31/03/2018 07:27

Thanks for the thought twittle but no, it was af, as I expected. Each month when I get spotting I have a faint hope that it's implantation (as I did get that with my first), but it never is so I should know better really.

Good luck testing mayago!

LopeyLopez · 31/03/2018 07:28

Cat, looks like you will prob get a positive the next day or so (today?). Not quite dark enough yet but very close.

Two child free nights and spa sound amazing, but most of all the afternoon nap....heaven!!

mayago · 31/03/2018 10:37

Cat mine went from that shade to nearest I got to positive within a day. My surge appears to be more like a sharp spike this month? And a nap sounds heavenly. I used to put Jeremy Kyle on for a nap when I was pregnant with DD - a luxury I won't have if there is a next time! (No idea why, but JK always sent me off to sleep)

Welcome SJB90 I haven't used instead cups, but anything goes if it's even slightly rumoured to help TTC Grin

Ovia is suggesting a test in 8 days. I wonder how long I can last? Does anyone have a routine for POAS? Do you involve your OH, or do it secretly? I normally use FMU, and OH wouldn't notice then as he'll be downstairs giving DD breakfast! I have grand plans to tell him about a pregnancy a little differently than excitedly shoving a FRER in his face while he's half asleep, which is how it happened last time around..

HidCat · 31/03/2018 11:23

@mayago in the past I've just done it with Fmu regardless of whether DH is up but always warned him the night before that I plan to test. He usually gets up with me when that happens though. Atm as I'm post MC I just get on with it but only as I don't believe I'm looking at a new pg just yet.

Peanut1980 · 31/03/2018 15:52

So my AF arrived today so I’m out for April... we’ll until right at the end of the month. Good luck to everyone else 😘🙏 xxx
