TTC #1, Cycle 1. Anyone In?

Hi all,
Longtime lurker, occasional commenter, rare poster here.
DH and I decided to start to TTC after much deliberation recently.
I've been on the pill for 16 years and haven't had a natural period in that time! Had my withdrawal bleed which started on 15th Jan and think I may have ovulated on Thursday 2nd Feb. I was doing OPKs (I know - first cycle, but if I'm going to do it, I'm going all in!) and got an almost-positive then - didn't have any more OPKs with me to test slightly later in the day.
DTD numerous times in what I'm estimating is my fertile week (working on the basis that my cycle is 28 days but don't really know at the moment).
So now the waiting begins.
Anyone in the same position or want to join?
Advice and your stories welcomed!

@AnotherOriginalUsername how many dpo are you again/when's AF due?

Around 11ish dpo and AF due tomorrow assuming I have a 28 day cycle (I don't know what my cycle length actually is, this is my first full cycle)

Hmm. How many tests have you got? If you've only got one I'd leave it til tomorrow with first urine to have the best chance of picking it up. If you have two... you know what to do 😈

We decided not to chart or predict 1. Cuz i have no idea how to & 2. I’m too afraid to put that pressure on us just yet. Blaming my all over the place cycle as this is my second off pill period in 15 years. I’m hoping my body just needs some time to recalibrate!

Hi everyone

This will be our 3rd month of trying for No.1, I'm so impatient and worrying that something is wrong. I'm 31, and I know its only been two months but so keen to get a BFP!

Currently on CD12 and had EWCM today so may be ovulating soon. Not had any luck with the ovulation sticks over the last two months and always say negative, so haven't bothered this month and was further worrying me.

@babydust2018 I'm in the same situation as you. Just coming to the end of c3 and think AF is around the corner. I appreciate we haven't been trying for long but WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG?!

I'm 3rd cycle too and so impatient. Geared up with sooo many sticks to pee on! Only cycle day 4, trying opks this time, cheapies and then clear blue for if I see anything happening, just waiting for AF to bigger off so I can get started!

Be careful @AnotherOriginalUsername, I have heard that the digitals don't always pick it up very early so don't be disheartened!
