Anyone just starting the TWW..?

Hi all,

Just started the 2WW (I think) as I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday/today based on Flo & the bloatedness I’ve had...just wondered if anyone was at the same stage as me and how they were feeling about it all? This is TTC #1 for me xx

@winterwarmers my temp spiked on day of ovulation and then has been quite high but not as high as the day of ovulation

still sounds promising my temperature has stayed fairly high since ovulation and my heart rate has increased today too

Sorry for the radio silence, just feeling confused with the lack of nothing happening!

This is my 4th month off the pill & based on my last two cycles being 29 and 30 days, I thought AF would be here on the 9th. So far, I’ve made it to CD37 and no sign of AF at all. I’ve used a FRER on Mon, and an IC Tues & today and all are BFN.

I only have a rough idea on when I ovulated, as just using Flo, which I now think was on Feb 1st, as I had spotting that day (which I originally hoped was IB)

Is is normal to have a random really long cycle sometimes? Just hoping for some reassurance as I’m feeling quite anxious as I’ve never had a cycle this long before; it’s like my body knows this is our first month TTC and is trying to trick me . Xx

@happythoughts7 I would do another frer with fmu tomorrow. I was pregnant and it didn't show until 14dpo just tested randomly and got my second line (sadly ended between 5/6 weeks) but I imagine after one more test you'll know for defo. I also am 4 months off the pill and my cycles are all over. Don't imagine my MC helped. Goodluck x

BFN 😢 my temps are still up and heart still up but expecting af tomorrow at 11dpo

Tested today at 8DPO and of course it's a BFN, which it would be at 8DPO! Why do I do it to myself? X

Try again in a couple of days. Did you use an early pregnancy test? It's so hard to resist when you want a positive so bad.

I've got it in my head I'm testing on wed morning when il be 13dpo.

Thanks @gossipgirl28 yes it was a FRER, urgh I've just made myself feel rubbish! I knew it would be a BFN I just don't know why I do it xx

I got my BFP last night but confirmed this morning, im 9DPO x

Thanks @xLeanne128, I might try and hold out until next week, as every BFN just makes me feel sad. Just wish if I was out that AF would show so I can look forward to the next cycle & opportunity. Sorry to hear about your MC, I hope these next few months are lucky for you too.

@lucylondon32 I'm still spotting today so hoping it's day 2 if implantation bleeding and that it stops soon! It's mainly brown (sorry tmi) where as my AF is red.

Scared it may be AF arriving early or something though! I've got some mild cramps and weird pulling sensations around my ovaries/lowers abdomen.

5 more days until I test! When do you plan to test next? Xoxo

@gossipgirl28 going to leave it till next week now, It's going to be a long weekend! Hate how crazy I make myself, but reminding myself to stay positive and that next month is another try if I don't get anywhere this cycle xx

Hi! Hope it's OK to join.. Been TTC since Nov and I drive myself crazy each month waiting! This month I had very light pink (barely noticeable) discharge (sorry tmi!!) I guess around 5 days after ovulation. I can't stop wondering if this was implantation or just something strange with my hormones and things.. xx

@LG88 hi and welcome, Im exactly the same! I turn into a crazy woman in the TWW, tested yesterday at 8DPO and obvs was a BFN. Trying to be patient now and wait another couple of days x

Thank you! Sorry for your BFN so far, it's crushing isn't it! I drive myself crazy over analysing every tiny possible pregnancy symptom. I had actually calmed down this month until the possibility of the implantation bleed, I have also had a huge breakout on my chin which is really unusual for me and really really weird vivid dreams.. Am I just over analysing again!! Agghh!! I have everything crossed for a BFP for you in a few days! Xx

I tested today 8DPO, couldn't wait any longer!BFP of course. Gah it's only been 3montns of trying f but I feel crazy! @lucylondon32 will you test again? @LG88 it sounds promising for you! 🦄

@buntingandstarcharts this could just be because you tested a little early. Don't give up hope just yet! I also tested this morning around 10DPO, I cannot make my mind up if I saw the faintest second line. I think I am just being far too hopeful!! I was sure it was BFN to start but I keep going back to check!

Show us! I've been more sane other months. 🤭

I don't know how to upload a photo..? very new to all of this.
I'm sure I am just being far to optimistic but I braved it and asked the OH to have a look too (started convo 'your going to think I'm a mad women but..') and he agreed that he could see a very faint line. My OH is the most sensible feet on the floor kind of person.. Unlike me.. I guess it could be evaporation line though as it is definitely very faint.. 😖

Do you have another test you can do? Don't worry - I'm new to this too. I've had to learn the little acronyms for the different things 🤣

Me too, it's like a whole different language isn't it! I do have other tests but don't want to do them if it's not first urine of the day as I am testing too early really anyway. I don't know if I feel better or worse about it.
I think I need to burn the test so that I can stop going back to look! 😄 do you know how to upload a photo? Xx
