Anyone just starting the TWW..?

Hi all,

Just started the 2WW (I think) as I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday/today based on Flo & the bloatedness I’ve had...just wondered if anyone was at the same stage as me and how they were feeling about it all? This is TTC #1 for me xx

BFN for me this morning. Still 4 days untill af is due. Gonna try really hard not to test again.

Haven’t told anyone in real life yet, just keeping it between me and DP for now. Did another FRER this morning and the line was a bit lighter than yesterday evening :( I drank a lot of water last night after 11, a couple of pint glasses, then went to bed, then did the test this morning at 6:30. Hoping my FMU was just diluted

Excuse TMI but I could do with some advice. I thought AF was here on Sunday, which would be 8dpo approx. But I've only seen a few drops of dark brown blood on a pantyliner over 2 days. One tiny drop today too. Does this count as AF? I tested again this morning using internet cheapie (as I clearly like to torture myself) and of course BFN. I'm now 9dpo (or 8.5!). Am I out this month?

Well rosieposies I figured for the first month I should probably wait until a week had passed because AF was a week late two months ago but now I’m mainly just holding out cause I don’t want to be disappointed! And don’t worry I was already symptom spotting like a mad thing but they all seem to have gone away except sore boobs. I was really bloated for two weeks but that’s died down, and not sure if it was around the time of ov or not. I’ve been really tired - but I ran a marathon last week. And I’ve had a stuffy nose but I had a cold 😂so trying not to read in to any of those! Sore boobs could easily be AF.

One thing I was going to ask - I had a tiny bit of brown spotting yesterday at what I think was either 10 or 11 dpo so I assumed AF was coming but absolutely nothing since. Also, I did an opk last night (not really sure why - because I’ve read they don’t mean much just before period!) and it was positive - does that mean that either a) I’m ovulating (again?! Did I even in the first place? B) I’m about to come on or c) I’m pregnant?

So that’s all going on in my head... time for big girl pants and a proper test perhaps.

@DreamyCat I don't think you are, it could be implantation bleeding. To count as AF it has to be as heavy as it normally is I think. Fx for you!!

@lovesrunning interesting, have you done a test yet? If the OPK was positive, although they track different things apparently) you could be. I'd highly suggest testing!

@lovesrunning I agree with Daisy, it does sound like test time. And congrats on the marathon! My DP is doing a half marathon end of Feb and he's constantly training at the mo (save for a weeks break for man flu).

@dreamycat You're not out yet!! Do you usually spot before AF turns up? fx you get your BFP in the next couple of days Flowers

@rosieposies My cycles have been a bit all over the place since August (stopped taking the pill end July) so it's hard to tell what "normal" is! I never used to spot but I think I may have last month or the one before so it could just be AF! Hmm I'm also feeling sick but that's probably just from lunch lol - way too early for morning sickness!!

Here are my tests, in the order they were taken, Top: Yesterday afternoon, Middle: Yesterday Evening, Bottom: This morning. Angle is a bit off, felt like the bottom one was darker when I was looking at it than it is in the pic. Have an appointment for the doctor for Friday, just hoping the line doesn’t disappear by then :(

Not sure when exactly I ovulate, have very varied cycles, so I have a few different apps to keep track of AF and my fertile week. Depending on which app I look at I'm either 2 days late or due today

So I just did another FRER and the line was as strong as the same time yesterday, also got a BFP on a ClearBlue Digital so I’m going to take that as a win and stop messing around with tests. Have my appointment with the Dr on Friday so will do no more until then. Thanks everyone for the support
