TTC #1 - 8 or more cycles

Hoping to find some lovely people who are in the same boat.

I've just failed cycle 9 onto cycle 10 and trying for number 1.

For the record I use OPK and temp - not that it helps!

This doesn't include the two private IUI and three natural cycles I tried in 2014 :(

Any one else struggling to conceive number 1??

Miserablemouse dnt b daft thats the whole point of this thread to share how u feel we re all in the same boat and understand completelyx i think im in fw just guessing tho cause afs due in a fortnight and ive had sum ewcm but not alot. Ttc taking over my life at the minute trying to stay positive but gettin bit pissed off with it aswell tbh

I haven't tested again, I'm determined not to until at least Monday as it's making me crazy
Its good to have a break from it all sometimes, I haven't been temping since my MMC, I just couldn't face it again, I think I might have a break from the OPK's this month too, it's so exhausting thinking about it all the time isn't it?!

I took my first OPK of the cycle today just because I remembered to, and lucky I did. Does this look like a positive OPK to you guys? Should I just start DTD like there is no tomorrow to be sure? We did it last night too so lucky timing there!

Maybe positive sqidgebum bit blurry but dtd anyway just to b sure lol do u drink cranberry juice? I used to get cystitis quite alot so i drink it as preventative n it works quite gd yh lultaliana it does some days im like feeling positive this will happen then others the wait and not knowing drags me down

I took another one an hour ago and it the test line was darker than the control line. Definitely a positive. I grabbed DH and said 'time to do your duty'. Poor man haha. He isnt really complaining though

Lol sqidgebum we ve been dtd every 2nd day this month except for one day prob when i ovulated knowing my luck

thisisouryrfx18 that's good! The swimmers just have to be there when you ovulate so DTD on the days before rather than the day of is best really. Fingers crossed for both of us this month. When is your AF due?

21st. The day after my 27th birthday. It's either going to be a great birthday or one where I drown my sorrows.

Can I vent? I already know I’m out this month!!! DH away on boys holiday. FW starts Wednesday. He isn’t back until Sunday and then has sperm analysis on Monday so no dtd for us Sunday or Monday and that’s it over! Agh!!

Thats soo annoying mrsjones17 its like i said to u about the drinking thing im never invited out when i get my period always during 2ww. The fertile wks always the same aswell its always a mega busy wk with everything goin on overtime at work or someone takes ill usually then no dtd. It feels like groundhog day sumtimes.

Can I vent too? No sign of AF that was due Monday, got my hopes up & tested this morning...BFN also my friend just txt me to tell me she had her baby last night, I am happy for her but its just such crap timing for that kind of news today, I'm finding it really hard today.

Aww lultaliana yh its like salt rubbed directly into the wound but ur not out yet until af arrives. Fx u just have low hormone levels. My af isnt due until the 15th the tww is killing me so sick of being in limbo why cant we just find out one way or another mother nature is such a BIATCH lol

this I know the TWW is hell I over think every little twinge & try and be positive but then if it's a negative I'm annoyed with myself for getting my hopes up its such a mind f**k, fingers crossed for you

I do the same every month feels like i set myself up for a fall

How's everyone doing?
Been taking some time off for myself which has been nice. Not tracking anything this month and have hidden/muted my apps to stop me checking it. Seems to be working so far! It's 14 days since my last peiod started (conveniently fell on the start of the month) but no idea how long this cycle will be or when fertile week will fall so just trying to chill.

Sorry about the BFNs and baby bombs while I was gone. I hope you are all being kind to yourselves. Anyone due to test soon? Keeping my fingers crossed for some good news on the thread!

Glad you're having a more relaxed month miserable I tested this morning and it was BFN despite AF now being 9 days late It's so frustrating, I wish I would just come on now so that I can start the next cycle. I think I may do the same as you next cycle and not track or OPK I really feel like I need a bit of a break
I hope we get some BFP's on this thread soon!

Oh Lu how frustrating! Nothing worse than being late with BFNs. I'm sure it's the only time we all sit around wishing for AF!! Hope she turns up soon so you can focus on a positive new cycle (or better yet a mysteriously late BFP for you )

I know I spent the TWW hoping AF would be a no show and now I wish it would hurry up!
A late BFP would be amazing but I'm trying not to get my hopes up, I just saw on another thread that someone had just got a BFP after 2 years of trying and it's made me feel a bit more positive, that will be all of us soon hopefully

Hope you get your BFP @LuItaliana Cycle 9 for us now, DH did his SA on Monday, and I now have to go for a colposcopy in April so that month's out 🙄 Mega fed up with this now, hope to see some good news on here soon xx

Oh sorry you're feeling fed up fingers it's so draining thinking about it all the time, hope the tests all come back OK. I agree we're long over due some BFP's on here, hopefully we'll have some soon!

I saw that SqidgeBum who was on the same cycle as me got her BFP on the month just gone so that gives me hope.

All of our little bubs are going to be so loved and appreciated when they finally join us 💖

What's everyone doing to take their mind off TTC? We go away to the lakes for a few days soon, so looking forward to a few chill out days.
