A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement.

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

• Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day

• Thou shall not give advice to others when TTC for one month only

• Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways

• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month

• Thou shall not be offended by strong language

• Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams

• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

And most importantly...

• Thou shall not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if they do so.

@sooz. Sorry you got a bfn Insomnia kept me awake last night - had this exactly this time last month, so I won't be testing unless flo isn't here next Saturday but chances are I will be spotting by Friday afternoon and in full flo by 01.00am Saturday! :-(

I have something to make you laugh- TMI warning. Trying out my new mooncup this cycle. Cleaned, inserted, trimmed, Re-inserted. Went to check it later and could not feel it! 😂😂 absolute blind panic in my bathroom- imagining trip to A&E to remove bloody thing! Sweaty palms obviously helping me in my search. Finally felt the tip- of course it’s angled to fit perfectly so I was looking in the wrong place! Idiot.

@WonkyDonk87 thank you you never know. Might not be so easy second time around. I was so surprised when we got pregnant so quickly. I thought we would have problems. I found the Natural Cyles app helped loads and loads. The month we conceived we pin pointed my ovulation. Exactly. Different to Ovia or Glow - I really felt like I was participating in finding my most fertile window by taking my temperature.

MrsMac here’s some abbreviations for you!

OH- other half
DD/DS- dear daughter/son
FRER- first response early result (preggo test)
BFN- big fat negative
BFP- big day positive
CM- cervical mucus
EWCM- egg white cervical mucus
DTD- doing the deed (sex)
OPK- ovulation predictor kit

Erm, can’t think of any others! Hope that helps :)

I’m around CD 20 (9DPO I think) and Ive had creamy white cm mixed with a bit of ewcm. Starting to get really fed up of all this new stuff

I'm just coming to the end of my FW, and about two days ago I got pinkish beige CM that was very jelly-like. Has anyone had this before?

QuietTime if you push your finger into one side of the mooncup so the other side is pointed on the other side and insert it that way. If that makes sense!

@FairyAnn - sounds kind of like a cervical mucous? A bit like a 'show' show at the end of pregnancy. It might be that lovely slippery slide for the sperm to climb up! Lol

milk don’t bother checking your cervix. It moves around so much during the tww that it’s toyalky unreliable. It’s only reliable when you’re in your fertile week. I used to check mine out of curiosity and most months, my cervix would be too high to reach then af would show up and hour later and I’d find my cervix had moved right down. So don’t rule yourself out based on that! Not sure what the early bleeding could be. Never experienced IB so no idea what it’s meant to look like

@Milk I have had that before around similar dpo I think. No idea what it means tho. Bodies suck.

DH should be getting his SA results back at the end of next week. I asked him if he has to call them or if they call him, he said he doesn’t know which is helpful....

Coming to the end of FW now. Got a couple of really well-timed DTDs in, which will no doubt lead to fuck all again...
